I absolutely love this studio, mainly because in most classes, I LEARN something about my body…read more Paul's classes, especially, offer such depth and understanding of biomechanics. Nothing beats the intelligence of the Iyengar system, imho! I will say that Paul has a unique way of balancing his precise knowledge with a very spacious accommodation, which is TRULY the art of an engaged teacher. However, there are other instructors here (I won't name names) that unfortunately trigger my sympathetic nervous system with their tone, and overuse of the word "should." As much as I try to get past this, my breath and body just become tight, and I don't move as freely with overly managed instruction. Yoga House could be one of the last studios on the Eastside that uphold the integrity of a yogic learning environment. As a yogi of 25 years, and an instructor myself, I recommend the Iyengar classes to anyone working to heal injuries and those who want to deepen their practice. It's not a miracle, but a more serious approach to yoga can be transformative, on many levels.

A True Sanctuary for Mind, Body, and Spirit…read more I can't say enough wonderful things about Pasadena Yoga House! I recently attended the class for people with mobility challenges, led by the incredible Peggy, and it was truly a transformative experience. As someone living with Lupus and Muscular Dystrophy, finding a movement space where I feel safe, seen, and supported has been a long journey. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed--not just by the staff, but by the beautiful community that gathers here. There's a genuine warmth in the room that you can feel, and Peggy's presence and guidance made all the difference. She was patient, attentive, and so compassionate, offering helpful adjustments and making sure each student felt comfortable and included. The studio is clean, calm, and absolutely beautiful. They offer plenty of props to support your practice, and the meditation beginning and at the end of class was the perfect way to wind down and reconnect with myself. It's rare to find a space that honors both your limitations and your potential--but Pasadena Yoga House does just that. If you're looking for a welcoming, inclusive, and healing space to move, breathe, and just be--you've found it. I wholeheartedly recommend this studio to anyone, especially those with mobility challenges or chronic conditions. I left feeling lighter, supported, and truly at home.

had another event in the area and signed up for a classes prior to it…read more this studio is clean, inviting and spacious. there are two studio rooms in this studio as well as bathrooms/showers. i had signed up for a c2 class , it was amazing. parking: everyone knows that parking is a hassle in parts of pasadena , but i just parked in a parking garage down the street and walked.

I just moved to Pasadena and my first class here was terrific- I love Neil's strength class. But…read moreupon attending my second class in April 2026 I had to take three minutes before class to fill out a parking validation form on my phone, asking for a ton of information as part of their new parking policy. The validation is for 58 minutes and doesn't even cover a whole class and time it takes to get back to your car (see the receipt attached below). This is an important detail because the building that hosts Pasadena Corepower (Residences at Westgate, owned by Greystar LLC) contracts with a predatory tow agency called Metro Towing. Warning: Metro Towing will absolutely tow your car if they have any chance. They did this to my friend, and CorePower staff lamented it had happened to numerous others, including the instructors. Go to the Metro Towing Yelp page and you can see how this company makes its money. The cost of getting your car back will be at least $530, and Metro Towing company is incredibly rude and dismissive when you call them. To be clear: the most troubling part of this whole towing situation is the complacent "oh well!" attitude taken by CorePower management. Their guests and instructors are getting their cars towed and they don't seem to even care! They put a small update on their formal website saying you now need to validate your parking- but honestly, who checks the website before taking a class? (By contrast, the facility where I play indoor soccer sent out SIX emails over two weeks with detailed maps showing where exactly to park in order not to get towed by neighboring businesses. That is how you get out in front of things and take care of your guests, even when the parking situation isn't yours to manage like it is here.) I have somewhat mixed feelings leaving a poor review, because this is really about management and not the instructors. But Pasadena Corepower Yoga and Greystone LLC (the building owner) have made the decision to stand by a predatory towing company, and therefore folks taking classes should be on notice. If you linger after your workout to shower or have a conversation with someone, you are putting yourself at great risk to lose your car and $530- even if you followed the validation rules parking your car. It makes no sense to me that a yoga studio of all places would nurture this kind of environment, but here we are.

I signed up for an In-Person Restorative Yoga class through ClassPass and I was delightfully…read moresurprised by this class. This is a yoga class where you mostly focus on "restorative" yoga poses. The class itself is very slow paced and very chill. It didn't feel like a super intense workout that a lot of the hot yoga classes I usually take are like - there were no downward dogs or ab intensive yoga moves / flows. In addition, since this wasn't hot yoga, the room wasn't a sweltering 100+ degrees. The yoga instructor (I think her name was Francine) was very nice and super knowledgeable. She's also really hands-on and will come to help you or adjust your body if it's not quite right (which I really appreciate)! You can hear the sound of traffic since it's next to a large road, so keep that in mind if that bothers you. The studio doors are locked once class starts. You can bring your own yoga mat but they also have mats that you can use there. My class was 5 students total - but the studio can fit around 10-15. They have one gender-neutral bathroom where you can change in. Parking is street parking only, but luckily street parking is free and there is lots of it on the main road or on nearby residential roads.

Called in at 5:25PM to validate open time but no one picked up. Decided to make the trip anyways, but because pulled over earlier for some time and it's rush hour, didn't get there till 5:52 PM. Door was locked, no one in the front, called again and no one picked up. Waited a few minutes at the door and a weird guy passed by calling out to me so I went back to wait in car. Ended up leaving, drove almost 1hr round trip for nothing.
