I'm in my trial week for hot 8 and was shocked by how quickly I became a fan. The front desk staff and the instructors really care about your experience. I've been a long time member of Corepower so I've had my fair share of hot yoga, and it makes me appreciate the way that hot 8 operates - they have multiple types of classes - I tried Strength, Yin, Sculpt, and they're all fantastic. The membership feels so worth it because of the variety of classes and the multiple rooms/times available. I will definitely be returning. Shout out to the front desk staff - they helped me solve issues with my booking process (my fault) and were so kind/patient when exposing the different classes to me. Oh and shoutout to Allison Chiang - the Strength instructor. She brought the energy and spent time on form correction. So key! Finally - there's free parking with validation in the building! Absolutely love this beautiful and clean yoga studio. Cleanest yoga studio I've been to by far, spacious rooms and open walkways. There's 3 workout rooms and a variety of classes with so many time slots from AM to PM. Just finished my 3rd class this week and I'm looking forward to the next. It's HOT! And you'll drip sweat like never before but you'll get a kickas5 workout and you'll leave feeling accomplished. Park in P1/2/3 for easier entrance to studio or park on any other floor and take the stairs/ elevator. They validate 2hrs parking. Everybody is so inviting and super helpful. I've been coming here for a while now, though I'm still fairly new, and I've noticed that the instructors truly make a big difference in how each class feels. Barre is my favorite class, and Mamma Mia is hands down my favorite instructor. She makes the class fun, plays great music, and keeps the energy up so I'm never counting down the minutes until it's over. I also really appreciate that she demonstrates the movements, especially as a visual learner. Barre is a faster-paced, full-body workout using weights, resistance bands, and small yoga balls, targeting the arms, glutes, and abs. I've also taken a class with Stephanie Love when she subbed in the morning and really enjoyed her as well, though she typically teaches evening sessions. I've tried a yin class here too. If you're looking for something slow-paced and stretch-focused, this class might be for you. However, the instructor didn't demonstrate the poses or correct posture, which made the class feel a bit confusing. Everyone seemed to be doing something different, and it was hard to know if I was doing the movements correctly. Another plus is how easy the parking is, and they validate as well. Tried the $35 week of unlimited classes. I normally not a yoga girlie but I heard a few clients mention Hot 8 and decided to give it a try because I love a good heated class. Woah was it hot in there, but I loved it. It's not unbearable, I didn't have to step out but it's definitely a mental challenge. Grab a cool Towel from the refrigerator. I can't remember the formatting took, didn't love her so not worth mentioning.I fell in love with Stephanie Love, I took her barre and sculpt class. Music, her aura, her flow everything was amazing. I'd return just for her, her energy and the challenge. Restrooms are very packed after classes, so I typically just run to my car and head home to avoid the chaos. Was in town last weekend and got recommended Hot 8 Yoga -- ended up taking the Power class and wow, it was HOT. One of the hottest studios I've ever been to, and the sweat was real -- but in that good, earned-it kind of way. The studio itself is clean, spacious, and well-stocked with equipment. Phoebe at the front desk was incredibly warm and welcoming -- she checked me in kindly and even gave me a quick tour to make sure I felt comfortable before class. Overall, great energy from the staff and a super solid workout. Would definitely come back when I'm in Pasadena again! read more

This is a clean and inviting environment for hot yoga. The showers and amenities are a great convenience. The teachers are knowledgeable and instruct consistently excellent classes. My favorite class at the moment is Yin, which is a restorative deep fascia release class. (I've had some injuries unrelated to yoga, so I need something more restorative.) Prior to my injury I was taking the Barre classes for 5 to 7 days a week and it changed my life for the best. I am very much looking forward to taking the new Strength classes once I'm feeling up for it. I recommend Mia and Damara for Barre. I recommend Jaz, Shanai (who is also an excellent barre teacher too), and Rachel for Yin. Jaz teaches extra special Yin class with tennis balls that help students stretch into their fascia even more deeply, and is better than any massage I've ever had! With my injury, I'm not sure that I would have continued with my annual executive membership if Jaz were not teaching Yin. Her classes have been a godsend. Even when I'm healed I will continue taking her classes! All the teachers are quite good; I just have my favorites based on personality and instruction style. You are sure to find someone who will exceed your needs! The three reasons that I decided not to give the studio five stars are: 1. they've been running out of the towels that I get with my particular membership. 2. there are some rude students who interrupt important times of instruction, especially the Shavasana, which is critical to closing out a successful yoga practice. 3. I really love this studio and I've consistently been taking classes with Nicole M and Stephi H. I'm so thankful to have them as instructors. They're very clear in their directions and great at giving cues. Instructors like them are why I'm so excited to keep coming back to the studio. I knocked down one star because I think they could do a bit better in terms of cleanliness. Sometimes the showers aren't as clean as they should be and the cleaning between classes could be better too as sometimes it's still musty from the previous class. I've been coming to hot 8 Pasadena for 4 months now. I have taken every class except power(yet) I have also only been to the Pasadena location so I can't compare. I do really enjoy the classes the instructors are all great and have high energy for the high energy classes and really keep you motivated and pushing through. One of my favorite classes is yin w/ jaz w/ tennis balls! This class should be a staple in everyone's practice! The difference it makes in your muscles and recovery is tremendous! The not so great: there have been a couple of times maybe 4 that I remember where there was no toilet paper or seat covers in 3 of the stalls which was annoying and they had just opened around like 330 pm and it was 4 pm so I don't see why there wasn't fresh restock? The price is not cheap $219/ mo I know with inflation and everything it's expected but from previous reviews it looks like months have passed and the same problems persist. No bathroom supplies, supplies not being wiped, smelly rooms. Sometimes the classrooms stink so bad like an old car in a garage or something ? And just like sweaty idk how to explain it but they can really smell badly sometimes. Sometimes the speakers in the classrooms suck ? I'm not sure if it's the cable connected to the phone the actual speaker or what. But there have been a couple of classes where the music would go so quiet or just completely stop and it messes with your focus and flow and energy. Some of the classes get so packed to the point it feels unsafe due to overcrowding and you would get trampled if something happened lol. Maybe for crowd control they can offer more classes during the day? The front desk people are pretty nice for the most part. I would give all the instructors an award for being so amazing and supportive and make you feel connected and loved! Most of the instructors feel genuine!! This location is tucked away from the old town Pasadena bustle. What a win with free parking also (validation provided at the studio). Loved how "zen" it made me feel upon entering. The front desk receptionist was very welcoming and showed me around the studio. There was a cute little garden in the patio area that I wish I'd had time to use. I took a Yin class with Tommy (via ClassPass) and didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed unwinding like this on a Friday evening. took a hot sculpt class here through classpass & loved it! get ready to drip sweat from every part of your body. there is a parking garage & signs will guide you down to level 2 & directly enter the facility after parking! this place offers validation at the front desk so be sure to bring the ticket inside. the facility is so clean & nice!!! they allow you to rent mats/towels/ etc whatever is needed to take the class. the also offers offer eucalyptus(?) towels for your workouts! the only downfall was they don't really introduce you to the facility & once i checked, she told me to go to room 3 & i had no idea where i should leave my stuff or even where room 3 was. read more

I've been a monthly member at Hot 8 Yoga Pasadena for nearly two years, and unfortunately, I've watched the studio decline during that time. When I first joined, the space felt fresh and inviting--the scent of clean eucalyptus greeted you at the door, the front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and the studio itself was well-appointed, with ample seating and complimentary cold hand towels for class. I was paying $200 a month and felt the experience matched the cost. Since then, my membership rate has increased twice--now $214 a month--and the quality has noticeably declined. That's an extra $168 per year, yet amenities like shower towels now cost more, and the studio no longer feels clean or well-maintained. They've cut the professional cleaning crew and no longer clean between classes--even though by 12 noon each day, over 400 sweaty bodies have already passed through the studio. When asked, they said it was too expensive to maintain regular cleanings. That choice alone reflects a serious drop in standards and concern for member well-being. What's most disheartening is how Hot 8 treats its talented instructors. Many of them are highly skilled, licensed professionals who have grown into excellent teachers. But recently, their shifts have been cut significantly, causing them to lose a substantial portion of their income. These are professional trainers, not part-time hobbyists--and they deserve better support. Staff and instructors begin their time there full of energy, but the demanding conditions and lack of care wear them down. They're overworked, underappreciated, and the studio is clearly understaffed. The culture has shifted from creating a supportive wellness space to focusing purely on signing up new members while cutting corners. It sounds like Hot 8 may be preparing to go public, though I'm not sure what their current strategy is. They started off so strong, with a clear passion for wellness and community. I'm still rooting for you as a company--please don't lose sight of what made your studio so special in the first place. They Just started their 30 yoga challenge. Yoga styles range from traditional to modern upbeat. My latest visit I took a class with Pamela and a few with Ashley. Both instructors were super helpful and such darlings. I registered for a trial week and went to 2 classes. The third class Barre was unfortunately cancelled and they only sent an email. They could send a text. My first day there wasn't toilet paper neither seat covers. I can believe that you have to pay for towels. Also there are no wipes to sanitize the blocks, weights and other props. The young lady at the front desk told me that I could take the cancelled class on Monday as part of the trial, but that. I had ton sign up myself, unfortunately I'm unable to sign up as a trial class, they want me to pay through the website. Now that I have officially taken every single one of their types of classes and completed their latest 30-day challenge, I just have to recommend them! As the other reviewers mentioned, the facility is excellent- always clean, filled with friendly staff, 2hr of free validated parking, chilled eucalyptus towels after every workout, and the most lovely open-air zen garden in the middle! Classes have a broad range- from slower-paced stretching classes like Yin to large muscle, full-body workouts like Sculpt, and my favorite for torturing small muscles like Barre. Which leads me to be best part- the teachers. The yoga instructors are all fabulous, whether you're looking for someone super zen who teaches the history and mudras of yoga like Rachel, or really try to push your workout with Bulgarian split- squats like Andy, or you need someone to pep up your day like Stephi. The teachers get to know everyone by checking them in, and always stick around to answer questions about form and inspire you. 've been attending this location since February 2025, I quickly became addicted, I loved the variety in type of classes as well as times available. Some of these instructor are amazing, no complaints there whatsoever. The facility itself is great and I love that I don't have to worry about finding a parking spot or paying for parking. BUT, recently then changed their schedule, less options, and less yoga. I attended the 3:30 HPF class regularly and that's been eliminated from the schedule among others. It seems like the studio is gravitating more towards strength based classes, I like to take those from time to time too but I want to be able to take Yoga at a yoga studio. Since the schedule change, Ive put my membership on hold and exploring other options. Im hopeful they bring back the original schedule. read more

Although constantly having super sweaty yogis going in and out, the lady's locker room never smells. Staff is constantly cleaning and refilling supplies and keeping the studio clean. I am really upset right now. Giving this place a one star. They charged me 31 dollars missed class when I was in fact there. I checked in with the front desk. It is not my fault they did not input that. It was March 8th and in fact the instructor apparently did not show for class so class stated 15 minutes late. They were trying to find an instructor and yet they have the audacity to charge me a $31 dollar fee. This is ridiculous. I will be calling tomorrow. That is unacceptable. Just feel really disappointed. Can't believe I'm being charged this fee after I was there!!! Ridiculous!!! read more

I've been coming to Hot Yoga Pasadena since 2023 after a friend recommended it, and I've truly loved so much about it. The studio is always clean, calm, and well-organized--never chaotic. It's a space where you come to reset and take care of yourself. Over time, I've met incredible people here: Victoria (Sculpt), Estephanie (Barre), Naomi at the front desk, Brianna (an amazing manager), Brandon, Summer, and many others who've made it feel like a community. That's why it's hard to write this review--but I need to be honest. Recently, I've had repeated negative experiences with one staff member, Phoebe, and they've reached a point where I no longer feel comfortable coming in when she's working. From the beginning, her tone and attitude toward me have felt unnecessarily harsh and even degrading. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but it's happened consistently--often in front of friends and family. One particularly upsetting moment was when she told me to get out of the shower while I was still in it, saying men were coming in to clean. I've stayed late before and other staff have always been kind about it, giving a polite heads-up. But this was jarring and humiliating, and it triggered an anxiety attack. It's made what used to be my sanctuary feel stressful and unwelcoming. I'm sharing this not to tear anyone down, but in hopes that someone from management can speak to Phoebe about how she treats members. I truly hope others aren't having similar experiences. And if they are, I hope this encourages them to speak up too--everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported in this space. While I'd give five stars for the overall environment, energy, and the kindness of almost everyone at the studio, I have to give one star for the way Phoebe has consistently spoken to me and made me feel uncomfortable. read more

August 15 2025 Update: Thank God for Damara and Mamma Mia!! The general manager was great at handling the incident the other day. I took Barre with both Damara and Mamma Mia this week and it's safe to say nobody compares at the studio like these WOMEN they are so motivating and supportive. I love their playlist and the energy they bring daily. Hold on to them HOT 8 Hi, I am reaching out because of my experience today at Hot 8 Yoga Pasadena. I have been coming here for a while and today's experience is the reason why I won't get a membership and continue to just do the 10 class package. I decided to try Stephanie loves sculpt class. I got there at 10 am because the manager said that I could be the first person on the waitlist if I come in person. I said ok. Class started at 10:30 am and the front desk let me know at 10:28 I could go in. When I go in the class is pretty full but a Woman was saving three spots one for herself and two for her friends that had not arrived yet. I truly do not think it's right for the Yoga studio to allow people to reserve spots for people who are late. I got there at 10 am early on purpose. The instructors should be in the class before it starts helping people move us and make space for FULL CLASSES. It should be apart of their job. Unfortunately Stephanie was not even able to really demonstrate her routine because of how stuffed the class was. This is unprofessional and a waste of a class. I will be sticking with Mamma Mia and Damara as it seems they are the only two good instructors left at the Pasadena Hot 8 location. I am obsessed with Jaz' yin class--all her yin classes, and especially the new echoes of the body myofacial release it is *life-changing*. The quality of the classes, studio experience, and teachers has been dwindling since the past 6 months or so. The changes in the schedule replaced classes and teachers that were the main reason I signed up for a membership, especially the 4:15pm Barre class. Teachers like Alysa and Yael were my favorite and I and many others want them back consistently. This studio used to be a place of community & solid classes but the quality and value of this place has really tanked. I hope management hears our concerns and makes some changes. read more

This is my spot, ya'll. The parking is validated for 2 hours. The staff is friendly and the bathroom/lockeroom is clean or being cleaned. Most of the instructors that I've had were Yin Instructors so they are all super cool. Shenia/Jazz are my all time favorite Yin Instructors and now there is Naomi, I like her class too, she is a star for sure. Sharlene is an early morning instructor that just does it for me and I'll be back to take her class again, soon. Sharlene, girl you kick-butt but it's exactly what I need! I've been a member for about 3 months and have really enjoyed my experience at Hot 8. If I could rate my favorite instructors--Stephi (HPF) and Nicole (Power 1)--separately, I'd give them 10 stars if I could. They really show how much they care about every individual in their class by checking in with them privately, highlighting improvements, and giving helpful cues without singling anyone out. I've seen so much progress in my practice, thanks to the instructors. The studio can improve on cleanliness, restocking supplies, and customer service. Membership is not cheap--I heard it increased recently, and I've been paying the new price. I hope the increase is going toward their staff and instructors, who are so vital to why I, and I'm sure many others, continue to pay for membership. read more

Before coming to Hot 8, I'd never done yoga in my life (let alone hot yoga). I tried a few different classes at first, but now I go almost exclusively for Stephi's classes. She's an incredible instructor and truly the only reason I still have my membership. That's why it's so disheartening to learn that instructor pay is effectively being cut through reduced hours, all while they're still expected to deliver the same high-quality classes. They're being overworked and underpaid, which is made even more frustrating by the recent increase in membership fees with no added benefits. It just sends a message that the people who make this studio worth attending aren't being valued. I hope Hot 8 reconsiders its priorities and recognizes the instructors who keep the community strong. read more

The sense of community from the instructors is what made me fall in love with this location. The time they take to greet you and get to know you is an amazing feeling and makes you want to comeback. Without the instructors, this place wouldn't run. Recently, I've noticed my monthly membership went up (is not cheap!) but equipment is not being cleaned, not enough weights, bathroom lacking basic essentials, and the rooms not sanitized. Is a bad look! Slowly, I've been noticing my favorite instructors leaving. I hope the ones that have stayed, are being taken care of. Their dedication shows and will hate for them to leave. Good luck trying to contact the PASADENA STUDIO because they will never answer the phone. They will be good at texting you to promote or to invite you to join their business. Good luck too trying to cancel !!!! I was overcharged, even after I canceled my membership. First they ignored my request of termination, then they indicate the termination on the wrong date and I was charged, then after several phone calls, emails and text they terminated AGAIN IN THE WRONG DATE ! they were trying to charge AGAIN. So they keep ignoring the phone, and I'm stuck trying to keep sending emails .... read more

New to the area and looking to find something to compliment my strength training/lifting, I came across Hot 8 Yoga. I had done Bikram previously years ago, but I was looking for something very slow, mellow, drive up the parasympathetic system considering I already train fairly hard the other days of the week. I did the new client special just to do Yin yoga and I fell in love! Firstly, the studio feels like a sanctuary. Clean, sleek, modern, outdoor garden area. I appreciate the amenities for the women's bathroom and overall big space in case you need to shower right after. Staff was super friendly and gave me a tour for my first day. The Yin class was 100% what I needed and what I also didn't know I needed. It took some acclimating for the temperature, but if you don't go in and out too much, and hydrate appropriately before the class, you can definitely survive without having done any prior hot yoga. The fake candles and dark room were great to set the tone. I felt super relaxed for the entire hour and rejuvenated. For mobility work, this is also amazing! The perfect way to end a sesh? Cold eucalyptus towel in the lobby area. Don't sleep on it. It was a gamechanger. It makes me wonder if I should have the same thing at home lol. *forget wine fridge, cold eucalyptus is the real flex* Definitely adding this to my routine for the week. read more

I have been to the Pasadena branch since the reopening post covid. Hot 8 yoga has been my safe haven ever since. I go there when I'm happy, when I'm stressed from work, from live matters. They have a variety of classes, from relaxing (Yin) to boot-camp-styles (Sculpt & Barr). The instructors there are amazing, energetic, and extremely motivated!!! The staff there are always friendly and helpful. The commutes to get there are challenging, especially since my work is in Pomona. I just hope they widen their 5 minutes late policy to 10 minutes to give people traveling a long distance a chance to get in. It's frustrating to rush from work, stuck in traffic, and ended up can't take class. read more

Definitely call to check if they're still running it cuz this is such a steal! I went to 5 classes and enjoyed my time there. Mind you, these were my first yoga classes since the start of the pandemic. I definitely felt stiff but by my fifth class there was a huge difference in flexibility between the postures. With following CDC guidelines, the class is now limited and the yoga mat and towel is provided for you. Masks must be worn during class unless you're drinking water. The first day of class, the showers were "temporarily unavailable" but the next day, the curtains were up and someone was showering. Call to check what amenities they have available so you can prepare yourself for before and after class!
