Absolutely love this beautiful and clean yoga studio. Cleanest yoga studio I've been to by far, spacious rooms and open walkways. There's 3 workout rooms and a variety of classes with so many time slots from AM to PM. Just finished my 3rd class this week and I'm looking forward to the next. It's HOT! And you'll drip sweat like never before but you'll get a kickas5 workout and you'll leave feeling accomplished. Park in P1/2/3 for easier entrance to studio or park on any other floor and take the stairs/ elevator. They validate 2hrs parking. Everybody is so inviting and super helpful. The cold refrigerated towels are the best during or after class. Bring plenty of cold water and your energy.

Tried the $35 week of unlimited classes. I normally not a yoga girlie but I heard a few clients mention Hot 8 and decided to give it a try because I love a good heated class. Woah was it hot in there, but I loved it. It's not unbearable, I didn't have to step out but it's definitely a mental challenge. Grab a cool Towel from the refrigerator. I can't remember the formatting took, didn't love her so not worth mentioning.I fell in love with Stephanie Love, I took her barre and sculpt class. Music, her aura, her flow everything was amazing. I'd return just for her, her energy and the challenge. Restrooms are very packed after classes, so I typically just run to my car and head home to avoid the chaos. I would definitely recommend taking Stephanie, you wonty regret it.

I've been coming to hot 8 Pasadena for 4 months now. I have taken every class except power(yet) I have also only been to the Pasadena location so I can't compare. I do really enjoy the classes the instructors are all great and have high energy for the high energy classes and really keep you motivated and pushing through. One of my favorite classes is yin w/ jaz w/ tennis balls! This class should be a staple in everyone's practice! The difference it makes in your muscles and recovery is tremendous! The not so great: there have been a couple of times maybe 4 that I remember where there was no toilet paper or seat covers in 3 of the stalls which was annoying and they had just opened around like 330 pm and it was 4 pm so I don't see why there wasn't fresh restock? The price is not cheap $219/ mo I know with inflation and everything it's expected but from previous reviews it looks like months have passed and the same problems persist. No bathroom supplies, supplies not being wiped, smelly rooms. Sometimes the classrooms stink so bad like an old car in a garage or something ? And just like sweaty idk how to explain it but they can really smell badly sometimes. Sometimes the speakers in the classrooms suck ? I'm not sure if it's the cable connected to the phone the actual speaker or what. But there have been a couple of classes where the music would go so quiet or just completely stop and it messes with your focus and flow and energy. Some of the classes get so packed to the point it feels unsafe due to overcrowding and you would get trampled if something happened lol. Maybe for crowd control they can offer more classes during the day? The front desk people are pretty nice for the most part. I would give all the instructors an award for being so amazing and supportive and make you feel connected and loved! Most of the instructors feel genuine!! You get two hours free parking with validation which is a plus iykyk. I would recommend this place for sure and will continue to be a hot 8 yogi ‍

The class options and times make it easy to show up, the studio is spotless, and everything runs smoothly without feeling rigid or cold. What really makes this studio stand out is the instruction. The teachers are paying attention. They correct your form, they want you doing the workout correctly, and it shows. This isn't a "do your own thing in the corner" kind of class. You feel guided, supported, and challenged in the right way. I especially loved my class with Emily. She was able to gauge exactly what I was doing incorrectly and came over to help me in a way that felt thoughtful and encouraging. I genuinely appreciated that level of awareness. They also make an effort to remember your name, which tells you everything about the culture and how much they value customer satisfaction. I leave class feeling stronger and mentally clearer every single time, which iswhy I keep coming back. If you're even on the fence about barre, take one class here. You may get hooked too.

The classroom size is pretty big - about 20-30 people and they have a livestream too for people joining remotely. Restrooms are fully stocked with deodorant, perfumes, etc. The class itself is a mix of abs, stretching, and easy workouts (imagine pulsing a 2 lb weight 50 times). Parking was easy as there's paid parking structures nearby all around. For class, if you find the Pasadena city owned parking structures, it's just $1 to park for the hour and change.

Tere teaches the majority of the classes here. My issue is that even though her classes are small, I would have hoped that she would actually come up to a student and show the proper form if necessary. Yelling instruction to me over the music from in front of the class isn't helpful to me if I don't understand. I wasn't the only one in the class having issues of poor form or not understanding the proper way of doing the exercise. One of the students in the class told me I was doing the sandbag exercise wrong, I figured she might be right because later that day, my back was hurting a little, and not from the exercise, but I think from improper usage of the equipment. I think the instructor should have guided me properly. Gabriela is another instructor there. I didn't see her last year, but she is a GREAT addition. I tried her bungee pilates class and I LOVED it. It was a challenging class, but she definitely approached me when I was doing improper body mechanics. I wish she taught more often because I would definitely only take her classes. Tere has many interesting classes to choose from, but if a client isn't doing the exercises right, it could be a painful mistake.

I came across this great studio via Groupon a month before my wedding, so I figured, why not try…read moreout the Unlimited Classes for a month. Tere is the owner and she teaches all the classes. It's nice that she tries to get to know each of her students because in other studios, you don't get that special attention. She also sets up her classes throughout the week so that it's easy to switch from one high intensity workout one day and then a low intensity/stretching workout another day to give your body a good all around workout. What caught my eye about this studio was that it offered Aerial Pilates. I've never tried Aerial Pilates before, so I thought it would be fun and something different to try. The first class I tried here was Aerial Pilates and she was so patient with me and other women in the class. Make sure you do not eat too much or drink too much water before this class because you go upside down and push down on your stomach a lot. After about 4 Aerial Pilates classes, I feel a lot more comfortable on the hammock, but I am definitely still a beginner. HIIT is the High Intensity Interval Training where it's pretty much like Bootcamp. She sets up several stations around the room working different parts of your body. You will be sore for a couple days after! If you're not a super active/athletic person, I would just recommend doing a HIIT class once a week so it gives your muscles time to heal. Barre is a sweat dripping class. You up and down on your tippy toes the whole session, so your legs will definitely be shaking at the end of class. Mat Pilates was actually my favorite class at this studio, but that's because I prefer low intensity workouts. I like that I am not dripping sweat at the end of the class, but I feel that my abs, back, and butt were really worked out and felt so firm afterwards. At the end of the unlimited month (I took about 3 classes a week), I was very happy with how my upper body toned up. I had a backless wedding dress, so I think my back muscles were my biggest concern. The workouts all helped strengthen my back muscles a lot more and I could see a lot more definition around the scapula area. I got so many compliments after the wedding!
