I just moved to Pasadena and my first class here was terrific- I love Neil's strength class. But upon attending my second class in April 2026 I had to take three minutes before class to fill out a parking validation form on my phone, asking for a ton of information as part of their new parking policy. The validation is for 58 minutes and doesn't even cover a whole class and time it takes to get back to your car (see the receipt attached below). This is an important detail because the building that hosts Pasadena Corepower (Residences at Westgate, owned by Greystar LLC) contracts with a predatory tow agency called Metro Towing. Warning: Metro Towing will absolutely tow your car if they have any chance. They did this to my friend, and CorePower staff lamented it had happened to numerous others, including the instructors. Go to the Metro Towing Yelp page and you can see how this company makes its money. The cost of getting your car back will be at least $530, and Metro Towing company is incredibly rude and dismissive when you call them. To be clear: the most troubling part of this whole towing situation is the complacent "oh well!" attitude taken by CorePower management. Their guests and instructors are getting their cars towed and they don't seem to even care! They put a small update on their formal website saying you now need to validate your parking- but honestly, who checks the website before taking a class? (By contrast, the facility where I play indoor soccer sent out SIX emails over two weeks with detailed maps showing where exactly to park in order not to get towed by neighboring businesses. That is how you get out in front of things and take care of your guests, even when the parking situation isn't yours to manage like it is here.) I have somewhat mixed feelings leaving a poor review, because this is really about management and not the instructors. But Pasadena Corepower Yoga and Greystone LLC (the building owner) have made the decision to stand by a predatory towing company, and therefore folks taking classes should be on notice. If you linger after your workout to shower or have a conversation with someone, you are putting yourself at great risk to lose your car and $530- even if you followed the validation rules parking your car. It makes no sense to me that a yoga studio of all places would nurture this kind of environment, but here we are. read more

I've been a longtime customer of Core Power Yoga and have attended dozens of classes at both the La Canada and the Pasadena studios. Unfortunately I had a very upsetting experience recently at the Pasadena studio. I attended class and parked in the structure the studio directs customers to use for "free parking." During class (which was a short 45 minute strength class), my car was towed and it cost me $533 and a lot of stress to retrieve it. What was most frustrating is that no one verbally informed me that vehicle registration was required every time we attend class. It was not mentioned when I checked in and was not mentioned by the teacher at the beginning of class. After the incident, the studio manager acknowledged that this has happened to many customers and even instructors before, which suggests this is an ongoing known problem. The towing company used by the building, Metro Towing, is a known predatory towing company with an extremely poor reputation. They have been the subject of numerous complaints and the Better Business Bureau currently gives them an F rating. https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/los-angeles/profile/towing-company/metro-towing-inc-1216-100105615 I later contacted CorePower Yoga customer service hoping they would help resolve the situation in a reasonable way. They declined to do any of those things and said that there is signage at the studio directing customers to register their cars with the front desk every time we come to class. I understand businesses may have parking policies, but when customers are routinely being towed from the "free" parking lot a studio recommends, there should be very clear emails beforehand and verbal communication at check-in and at the start of class -- not just signage or buried instructions online. I genuinely loved my practice with Core Power which makes this experience especially disappointing - the whole thing left such a bad taste that I have switched yoga studios and will no longer be practicing with Core Power. read more

Great Yoga Sculpt class with Michael this morning!! Everyone was so nice, friendly, and efficient. My check in and towel rental took all of 30 seconds so I had plenty of time to sit in the studio and get acclimated to the heat. Yoga Sculpt is a class that uses light hand weights and has some cardio (jumping jacks, etc) in the middle, with the room heated but not too hot, just enough to make you really sweat. Parking is around the block on Dayton, and the lot is clearly marked 168 Green Street, with plenty of free underground parking. I'm so happy, I feel great, looking forward to coming back soon! read more

The staff are always so nice and welcoming ! They have plenty of parking as well, there's a parking lot in the back and street parking. Bring your own yoga mat and towels. But they also have some to rent. It's a great workout every time. I have visited the Pasadena location 2 X and studio city once !! I will be coming back ! Plenty of underground parking in the building you have to drive around from the front and the entrance is in the back on W Dayton St. Follow the signs to the stores and you will take an elevator up to the ground floor where you will find CorePower Yoga entrance on the street. I checked in and put my mat in one of the rooms while I then got ready for my class. I suggest getting there at least 15 to 20 minutes early prior to your class so you have time to get your spot and enjoy the heat. read more

I love yoga sculpt with Drew Ann, she has great music and the vibe keeps you motivated through the class. The C2 class with Micheal Fireborn is uplifting and fuels your soul mentally and physically. The C1 with Sarah was great because she walks you through intention, positioning, and gives options for adjustments all while her voice is calming. Everyone who works there is super knowledgeable and an expert in their craft. Even the people who attend are so sweet and it is a beautiful community. I truly love it here. read more

Did not see anyone sanitizing them or wiping down the floor of the room as we were leaving. It's the one thing stopping me from getting a membership. Dusty and musty.. I'm such a core power fan but this location is a pass for me. My first class was with Claudia, not sure if she was new-ish but those are the vibes I got. Loved her calm and sweet nature but at times her instructing was distracting. Recently I went to Katie's class and for some reason, since the moment we locked eyes she was very unwelcoming to me. I always offer a smile to people but idk what I did, the whole time I felt unwelcomed by her. I gave her a donation for Hispanic heritage month, as I passed it to her, not even a thank you. Which is whatever, donations not for her but it's the little details. People always remember how you make them feel. Everyone else there is super sweet. Her music was great, instructions were great, but did not like her vibes. Maybe she gets comfortable with people as she gets to know them but I just don't think it should be that way. I expect a zen experience. I am so not ok with how packed these classes get. There should be a limit. Especially with high intensity classes, you need space! Is it for greed of money? I don't think it's fair that customers have to be packed in like sardines, being in the way of others, I almost left because I was so annoyed. Parking is bad. For this alone, I could not come here. Lastly, the studio smells musty and a little moldy. From my experience at other studios, this one is not up to par. I would not use the showers. Toilets are a little dirty. When the girl fans everyone at the end, tell me why I felt particles of dirt and a strand of hair hit my face and lips! So gross. I think they need to have a couple less classes throughout the day to accommodate better cleaning in between. I will not be back. read more

Did the 2 week free trial with some friends and was a huge fan of the Yoga Sculpt (YS) classes! These classes are 60 minute hot yoga classes that combine cardio, weights, and normal yoga flow. My favorite instructor for YS was definitely Eszylfie! At the beginning of class, he encouraged everyone to introduce themselves to a neighbor which made the whole environment feel a lot more welcoming. He also incorporates some call and response affirmations into his class which is a fun addition. If you decide to take YS, I highly recommend bringing a mat, water bottle, and a towel to lay on top of your mat. Be prepared to sweat but also to enjoy an amazing, upbeat workout! I also tried Hot Power Fusion (HPF) and it was more slow controlled movements in a heated environment. I definitely prefer a fast paced class, but if you are looking for something more calming , you might enjoy this class. Also, the flow is the same for every HPF class so if you prefer repetition, I would check this one out! Overall, a clean facility with fun classes and welcoming instructors! I'd definitely consider returning in the future if I have the time/funds to do so! read more

I go back and forth with Hot8 in Pasadena as both are equal distance to my house. I love Core's classes as I find the teachers to include some spiritual/ motivational sayings during class. I would say if Hot8 included more, I would just only stay there. Don't get me wrong, I have the all access unlimited class membership here-- but there are a lot of things lacking in amenities compared to competitors. The bathrooms aren't always clean nor their showers. It is a really small studio compared to other Corepower studios. Only 2 rooms here and so when you are doing a corepower versus Yoga sculpt class, you will always find yourself hearing the other classe's music while you are in Savasana (final resting pose). Don't get me wrong, I still love this studio for its teachers and classes. My favorite teacher is Jan Marie (teaches both CPY2 and Sculpt) and Bradley Boleman (both CPY2 and sculpt). They are amazing all the time and really passionate with Yoga. I've recently attended Linda H's classes which are good and more fast paced than other instructors. They offer a free 1 week trial for new students so if you are looking for a new hot yoga studio-- come to core and let all the stress for the world go for an hour :) read more

I had such a fun sculpt class with a friend. It was her first time and we found it to be high energy and a great without! We entered the class picking our spots in the back. It was easy to maneuver around as we got our weights. People were friendly and said hi! The heat was just right - good enough for a sweat but not super hot! Loved the music - rocking with all the nice beats. Great cues and it was overall a nice sweaty workout! Definitely coming back again!! read more

I'm not the best at these classes but I decided to do the 1 week trial with really zero expectations. The fist class kicked my butt and I wasn't expecting the heat. I truly appreciate all the wonderful teachers. They're all so different from one other and great at executing a wonderful class. A week there helped me regain some of my loss balance that I'd been struggling with since I gave birth over two years ago. I had lost all confidence and hope. I used to be a very active runner and now this class has helped restore some strength and some of my confidence back. I look forward to doing more classes this year and getting fit. I found this yoga place through one of my gym buddy. She has the perfect body shape-lean and strong. She told me her lean body is due to yoga. Since I am always down to try something new, I was excited to try this place out. I am not a beginner yogis as I have been taking classes at Hot8Yoga. This place has 1 free week to try. However, I could not figure out how to sign myself up online. I had to call their Pasadena office for help. Instead of the call going to the studio, it went to Denver. She was very nice and she was able to give me the basic information over the phone. Location: Old Town Pasadena. Parking: Free 2 hour parking, it is available in the 2nd garage on your right near Pasadena Ave. It is off Dayton Ave (Westgate Property Parking). You will be towed if you go over your time. Pricing: Single Class: $26 5 Classes: $ 119 10 Classes: $ 219 20 Classes: $399 Black Membership: $159 Unlimited Yoga, plus first month only $89 Before I arrived, I was told to bring my own mat, towel, water and lock. If you forgot it, it is alright. You can rent all of these of $2 /each. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted. I was told to sign up on their tablet so I can get my 1 week free. Other than that, I was not given much information/attention. I got no tour of the studio, so I had to explore myself. I guess this is the "I wont' bother you and help yourself approach". It could work for some, but I prefer some sort of tour. I had no idea where is the class or the locker room. There was only 1 person in the front to sign people in and she was actually the yoga instructor as well. Maybe hiring a person in the front desk would make a new person feel welcome As to the classes, they are actually not bad. The instructors are all nice and the studio is very clean. The only problem I had is, you can't reserve any of the classes ahead of time. You just show up 15 minutes before the class. All the classes, I attended they are full to the maximum. I am not sure it meets the fire safety code. I was overwhelmed as It is so hot in the class and there are WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE so close to me. I know they were in my personal space. I was afraid they will hit or kick me as we are doing these movements. I couldn't see the instructor due to so many people in the class. It was very frustrating. I just followed the movement from my neighbors. Overall, it was just ok experience. The studio does not have as amenities as Hot8yoga, but I can see it work for others. They only have 4 showers and 2 bathrooms. Locker room is also very small and it is very crowded. I am glad I tried out this place, but I think I will stick with my Hot8Yoga read more

I'm not that big of a fan of yoga, but as I get more comfortable with the classes and understand what the instructors are saying I've become more of a fan. I tried out the free week and I've come to the conclusion that this place is definitely one of my favorites. My two favorite instructors are Sally and Jason in the CPY 1 class. If you are new to yoga and/or CPY, I highly recommend that you take their classes. They go slow and their personalities are calming. After taking two CPY 1 classes, I ventured into the sculpt class where you use 3 lbs or more weights and 2 blocks. I would have liked it better if the class wasn't so crowded and if the instructor wasn't so fast in her instructions. I got kind of frustrated trying to keep up with the class. Thank goodness I was surrounded by people who knew what they were doing so I ended up following some of them. Both classes are heated, but the sculpt class is even more heated. I was SO sweaty especially after the sculpt class. You can either bring your own mat, or pay $2 to use one of theirs. Bring your own towel, or pay to use one of theirs. Bring your own lock, or pay to use one of theirs. I think you get the gist..... Their studio doesn't have as many amenities as I would like compared to other studios that I've been to, but this place still works for me. They have more showers (4) than restrooms (2) unfortunately. Very small changing area in front of the lockers so it gets very crowded. Free 2 hour underground parking in a shared area called The Shops. Short walk to the studio from there or you can park for 90 minutes free and have a longer walk. read more

I was debating between hot8yoga and corepower. After went to check out both facilities, i decided to go for hot8yoga. Corepower's staff ( the asian front desk girl) is so rude and unprofessional. Hmm first impression while trying to get set up was not that great. Signed up for a free week online and walked in to the studio and was told to sign up on their iPad. There was a miscommunication between the two of us but they made me feel like I was being dishonest about their promotion/free week. After being set up I was told which studio my class would be. Stepped inside the room to get setup and wanted to use the facilities before class started and went into the women's locker room which their were 3 showers, some lockers (bring your own lock), and some amenities by the sink such as body lotion, cotton swabs, and tampons. Took a C1 class as recommended before Yoga Sculpt and it was a pretty good workout! This class is not heated but it did warm up pretty quickly with all the bodies and movements. I'm still looking for a yoga studio to call home that would fit my budget. Corepower is pretty high compared to other hot yoga type studios that are nearby. Probably would not consider membership mostly because of the staff's mannerism/interaction with guests. It makes me sound stuck up, but I prefer to practice at a place I feel welcome and with staff that are genuine. The search continues...*sigh* Parking: There's free two hour parking in the structure behind the studio. Looks like if you parked longer than two hours you have a chance of getting your car towed away. There's metered parking out in the front and streets closest to the studio. I would suggest parking in the structure off of Colorado and DeLacy, there's always parking and if you happen to go over 2 hours, you'll just have to pay the fee. read more

Parking was pretty easy as well you enter through the street behind CorePower and the elevator brings you up about three businesses down. *** Easy parking, friendly staff, crowded class *** I only came here once for a free week. I liked that there was free parking underground, which you enter in from Dayton if I remember correctly. The place was nice and inviting, the staff was super friendly when I checked in for my first time. Reviews say it's a clean studio, but I pretty much smelled BO as soon as a I walked into the class. I don't think they can get rid of the smell. I think that's the issue when you take a heated yoga class. I didn't care for the class size which got really crowded. You can arrive early and set up your space, but there's still a chance someone's going to rush in last minute and try to squeeze in next to you or right in front of you. At the end of the class, gotta be careful walking through cause the floors can get slippery from everyone's sweat. The class was good though, I did get a workout but it's not my favorite place for yoga. It's probably at the end of my list of studios to go to. read more

Beware I did a one month special. Did not continue due to not enjoying the classes. Classes seem to all have same routine. Come to find out that enrolled me in pricey monthly payments. Then when I tried to disenroll I had to call a call center. They said I had to give them a one month advance notice so I was stuck paying for an additional month. This is a very corporate entity not interested in the well being of their customers but rather looking to make money. Instructors are very nice but this is not how Yoga should be. read more

Corepower, I'm saddened as I write this. You used to be my little slice of heaven & self-care. A bit pricey but it used to be worth it. I've had a black tag membership for a few years & raved about it (got a few people to sign up, too). Since the pandemic, I was EMBARRASSED to bring people here. It's FILTHY. I don't even want to walk barefoot on the sticky carpet. The mirrors are covered in dried sweat streaks, I often step in puddles of sweat from previous classes that weren't cleaned, the restrooms aren't very clean, the locker room has about 15 hooks on the wall & at least half of them have been broken since I started attending... are those $3 each?? The dinky bench looks like it hasn't been wiped down & pieces of trash on the carpet. I truly don't understand- prior to the pandemic, it was spotless. After each class, each room would be thoroughly cleaned, the bathroom was stocked, etc. What happened? Bradley Boleman's amazing classes were truly all that kept me there through the pandemic. But the studio continued to go downhill, so I reluctantly made the switch to Equinox. Their hours are shorter, it's a bit more pricey, they only have a few yoga/barre classes per week BUT their cleanliness is next level! At any given moment, I can see 2-3 friendly faces cleaning every inch of the place & stocking fresh, cold eucalyptus towels. After every work out, an extremely CLEAN, welcoming locker room greets you with Kiehl's products, endless fluffy towels, a steam shower & even blowdryers, flat irons, hair products, etc. The vibe is worth the extra $ Bradley, start teaching at Equinox, PLEASE! read more

I think CorePower is a great studio because most of the instructors are consistent in the classes they teach. This is important if you cannot always attend a class on the same day and time. I personally believe that it is so helpful when the instructors remind me to breathe and guide you on when to breathe. I find the best instructors here that guide you to flow to each pose smoothly. I enjoy yoga sculpt the most since it gives me a workout and a heated stretch that I cannot get elsewhere. The only thing is that I wish they had lockers with built in locks like the other workout studios have now. I especially recommend CorePower if you want to try hot yoga for the first time (they have a week free for first timers!). If you opt for another studio and get a bad impression, still give this one a try before giving up hot yoga all together! read more

A friend introduced me to a free trial of Classpass, which is the program I used in order to attend CorePower Yoga. (Side note though, if I had to rate Classpass, I would NOT recommend it.. but I digress..) I have only attended the Hot Power Fusion classes here at CorePower Yoga so I really do not have anything to say about the other types of yoga classes here. I have really enjoyed classes by Brittany, Chessa, Alana, Steph, & Bradley. The studio itself is maintained and upkept very well. Upon entering the studio, there are a few cubbies on the right side to put shoes and other things. There is a counter where you check in for the classes. They also provide locks and keys if you should need it as well as hair ties if you forget one! The lobby also has a small store where you can purchase various yoga items. After walking a few steps, there is a mens and womens locker area with bathrooms and showers. The women's side is very clean as well. There are numerous lockers and cubbies to use as well as hooks on the wall to hang items if necessary. The showers are all clean with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap for use. They also provide lotion and a hair dryer if needed. I have always only been in Studio 1 since I only take the HPF class, but they also have a second studio room for use simultaneously. Studio 1 is very nice with dimmable lights, settings for heat and humidity, and wood floors. They provide wet wipes to wipe off excess sweat on your mat and blocks if they are used. I also really like that the students that attend the classes are mindful when walking in and out of the rooms to stay quiet so that other students can enjoy being in savasana or trying to set their intentions for class. I think the only gripe I would say is that if come close to the time of your class, the door might be locked so you can't get in because the instructor for the next class is the same person who is behind the counter checking you in. One time I was almost going to be late and got locked out, but fortunately there was someone else working in the lobby and let me inside! read more

Have no idea what happened to them, but most of the customer service representatives were friendly and helpful before the COVID situation, but now their people are pretty rude, and I was shocked, so I've decided to cancel the membership because I'm disappointed. Unless you have your own gym or belong to a 24 Hour Fitness, this CP dominates in having a schedule of classes to fit *most* lifestyles. From the wee hours of the morning to late night (I'm talking 9pm!), the programming is nonstop with CP1 (beginner or refresher course), CP2 (a little more advanced, hold positions for longer, hotter), Hot Power Fusion (like bikram/hatham but with a CP twist), and Yoga Sculpt (cardio/weights + yoga). In the last two-three months, I started to get bored with YS, so I've since taken all of the above and it's amazing to see my muscles move in different ways and how much my balance has improved, as well as my ability to truly disconnect during class. I haven't done yoga in awhile, but I'm so glad I tried out CorePower yoga for a free week. It's been a great experience! I'm not a fan of hot yoga because I had an unpleasant experience years ago (it was so hot I could barely breathe). But fortunately at CP, the rooms are heated to a "bearable" temperature. The instructors are friendly and helpful in providing clear instructions. I feel like the classes provide a good challenge while still being low-impact. I like the addition of weights to the Yoga Sculpt classes and the CP 2 classes are also good (even for a beginner like me). After a yoga class at CP, I feel refreshed and recharged. read more

The studio is gravely misinformed. They are telling their clients that if you have proof of vaccination you do not need to wear a mask. I spoke with the Pasadena health department today and mask mandates Are required unless you're actively eating or drinking. I've been to a few CorePower yoga locations and this one is my favorite. It's very inviting and friendly, plus it has free parking. Today I took a class with Christine and she is totally my new favorite instructor, so def check her out. Her class was challenging (it was CorePower 2 and I'm somewhere between beginner and intermediate), the flow felt great, plus she is really friendly and approachable. I gave the studio a 4 out of 5 only because I'm not super into the whole corporate feel of a CorePower studio. It's not that corporate feeling per say, but it's def a chain and not all locations are the as good as others. That said- this location is lovely and you should 100% check out Christine's class!! read more

I've been to CorePower Yoga studios all over the LA, OC & Chicago area. I've also been to various other Yoga studios as well as yoga workshops but I keep coming back to CorePower for a reason! The pasadena location is the newest CorePower in the LA area and glad it's close to my hometown. This isn't a huge studio - I've only seen in two rooms but, it never seems overcrowded here which is really nice. Some LA CorePower studios are so crowded that it's bursting at the seams. At CorePower, I usually take restorative and 1 to balance out all the Crossfit and really stretch/relax - gone are my 2 and HPF days! However, I ended up trying 1.5 here just because of timing. If you have the chance, I highly recommend taking a class with Alex. What makes a good yoga instructor you ask? I wish I had a cool acronym for this but it's just LPKM: *Listening - In the last couple of classes I took with him, he always asks students if there's anything they'd like to work on and programs the class accordingly *Pace - The overall flow feels just right. This is one of those je ne sais quois. *Knowledge - Alex explains poses really well during classes. It's nice to know what I'm doing and how it's affecting my body. He also makes sure to highlight what the purpose of the pose is so that we can do it properly. That type of guidance is really helpful. *Music - Alex's music selection on point! I know music is not the centerpiece of the practice BUT it enhances the experience. In my overall practice, I don't want unts unts unts but I don't want ethereal when we're doing core work. Also, in our final shavasana in the first class, I don't know what kind of meditating sound bath sounding track he played, but it was amazingly trippy and relaxing. Alex just has that it factor that isn't found in a lot of instructors! Enter on Dayton for free 2 hour garage parking - hell yeah for the suburbs. Parking is underground on the back street, and usually pretty packed which is why I dock one star. Also they close doors right away so make sure to get there early, especially since finding parking takes some time! Instructors are great though and my sculpt class was intense. read more

The Pasadena studio is the best! Free parking which is extremely difficult to find at a popular workout studio in LA. There are some amazing teachers here and definitely a strong sense of community. This studio is definitely very busy, sometimes a little packed. Although I love coming here, I find myself getting a little claustrophobic in popular classes. Im not sure what they can do about this because capping classes or requiring reservations would be an inconvenience for members who make last minute decisions. So I guess my advice is to come here expecting it to be a little cramped. But I do wish the instructors were able to step away from the checkout desk and help make space in the classrooms by guiding people to move over or whatever. read more

Terrible experience for this company they double charged my credit card for monthly fee for 13 months after I found out not even apologetic!! All managers are arrogant and bad attitude, Never anybody answers phone except machine. Their customer service are sucks. Watch out they could double charge you too!! read more

I redeemed my free week at Corepower Yoga and it was the most amazing week ever!! Parking here is easy, because you get 2 hrs free underground (Look for a sign that says retail parking!) Upon walking into the studio, the staff was friendly. The locker room is small compared to the Huntington Beach location. Bring your own lock, towel, mat! The classes range from early morning to late night; SO convenient for working people! I LOVE THE YOGA SCULPT CLASSES!!! It's a gnarly workout! I sweat soooo much and it's so fun!!! The studio is clean and beautiful. It puts me in a good peaceful mood. I only knocked off one star because it's so expensive for a college student like me. I'd never be able to afford it, so I'll just reminisce about my amazing week here doing yoga at Corepower. read more
