The cheese steak with cheese options was great! I'd say, this is my cheesesteak place! Great roll! I choose the government orange American cheese. My only issue is how it's packaged. It's in an 8" aluminum pan. Moisture does build up inside the cover and does affect the roll if not consumed in a timely fashion. NOTE TO THE OWNER: consider the traditional paper wrap then put in a brown bag. Now the pizza...I'm from New England, Boston area...this is kinda like a thicker crust Papa Gino's. After one slice, I was done chewing. Pizza is acceptable but too thick for me. read more

The owner is a super friendly guy. The pizza, well, we didn't love it. The crust was thicker than we expected from NY style crust and we just didn't love the chew. The sliced sausage was a little weird to us. The sauce was fresh with chunks of tomato, and could've benefited from some slow cooking and something to take a bit of the bite out of it. I've stopped in before lunch for a slice a couple of times thought the pizza was excellent. Decided to pick up dinner for the family. The pizza is fair at best, the crust is kind of thick for New York style pizza. The sauce and cheese taste like something you'd find at Costco. We ordered our pizza well done both visits and it was not even close. we went prior to this place. pizza was good especially the grandma so we went back and wanted the grandma slice.... There was 4 slices sitting on the counter that looked like they had been there a while and I asked if they were planning on making another grandma pie and was told no. Sergio's catered a dinner for my group of golfers from New York! The pizza was legit MINT! The hot trays were a bit hit! Sausage and peppers was just like my grandma's! Meatballs were like from an Italian restaurant. Strombolis and mozzarella sticks were perfect app. And the dessert tray was over the top! Cannolis and rainbow tasted homemade! The food was delicious, the beer was cold, the televisions are on and my heart is content. But more specifically you cannot come to Myrtle Beach and not visit Sergio's Pizza. The place was packed and all the while as tables cleared, there was not a lack of someone to take up the empty spot. We ordered 2 slices and 2 salads. The pie was perfect, everything about it absolutely hit the mark. My house salad was perfectly portioned and fresh. My wife had the Greek salad and she said the onions, cheese and olives were delicious and the dressing in her words was "on point". She had a slice of Margherita and I had the Pepperoni, I swear I could have had a whole pie for myself. As for the restaurant itself, you can see the sign from the road. We drove from Florence SC, so following the GPS it was trying to make me make a u-turn off of Carolina Forest Blvd, when a left turn at Stafford Drive would have been more direct. Parking was easy, the lot is spacious and access to ramps are available directly in front of the restaurant. There are 10 (4 top) tables, 4 large TV's and music playing in the background. Even with over 30 plus people eating and conversing, you can still have a conversation at the table without having to shout. (Side note) there are New Yorkers here and they speak loudly normally so there is that. lol. There is self serve soda, a Pepsi fridge with canned drinks and bottled waters, and the same goes for a fridge with cold beers. There is also 4 beers on tap and a few wines as well. I 100% recommend this spot. And we definitely will return. Come see for yourself. There is more than pizza. Calzones, Lasagna, Chicken Marsala and Parm, fresh Salads, Bakes Ziti, Penne, Ravioli, Hero's and more. Follow it up with Dessert, Cannoli, Zeppolis, Tartufo, Taramisu, New York Cheesecake and Italian Ice(s). Literally something for everyone. I can't say enough and this review has made me hungry again. Ordered take out, Pizza half cheese/half pepperoni, cheese sticks, wings. The wings were OK, Cheese Sticks were OK, the pizza was burned on the bottom and not completely cooked on the top. Black crust on the bottom of the pizza. I would have returned it if I had eaten there, but was home by the time I realized. Hopefully just a bad night, will try again. read more
