After living in this area for 6 months now. I have been struggling to find a good pizza that is something to talk about. There are a few places that have decent pizza but Danny's is going to be my go to place. The place was clean the employees were nice and appreciating of our business. The cook came out and talked to us about their food and ingredients. My wife had the chicken Alfredo which was delicious. My son and I had a pepperoni and onion pizza. That was perfect. Tried calling Danny's Pizza in Murrells Inlet tonight (Halloween ) -- the phone was either busy or I was on hold long enough to grow a beard. When I finally got through, the one (yes, one) poor person answering phones told me it would be an hour and 45 minutes just to pick up a pizza. And this is par for the course with them, maybe not the 1 hour, 45 minute wait, but everything else. There is always a line out the door, the phone's always tied up, and it feels like calling a radio station to win concert tickets. Here's a tip: hire a few more people if you actually want to run a business. I called another place and was able to pick up in 30 minutes. Employees and service is always five stars at Danny's. I have heard some good things that the staff here does behind the scenes to help people which is really cool and unsurprising. They have some good lunch specials for slice of pizza and soda, which we have definitely taken advantage of an time or two. The pizza is not my absolute favorite, but it is very good pizza. We like to get it and take it to go and sent my the marsh to eat it and enjoy the sunset. Last visit, I decided to try the chicken parm sandwich, and it was not my favorite. Not totally sure why, but the sauce just was missing something for this time. It will definitely not deter us to coming back, but I will probably just stick to the pizza from now on, but I am more of a pizza and original guy anyway, so no biggie. read more

My family ordered 3 large pizzas for 6 adults, 1 teenager and 2 toddlers. We had plenty for dinner plus leftovers, which reheat well. I love the white pizza because of the ricotta, and it's different/more interesting than a typical cheese pizza with red sauce. Danny's was delicious! Located off the Murrell's Inlet connector in an upscale shopping center near Publix, it was a welcomed find. We ordered a pizza to go, but there are a few tables for indoor seating. The prices are reasonable and the pizza slices are HUGE! 3 of us ate on this pizza and still had leftovers. Lots of pizza toppings and options, plus pastas and sandwiches, all of which looked amazing. The staff is friendly and handled the business of the night with ease. I was driving from Myrtle to Charleston and stopped for gas in this plaza when we decided to grab some lunch. I'm so glad the asian place next door wasn't open yet because we popped into Danny's instead. They were busy for lunch but we snagged a table after ordering at the counter. There was a lot to choose from but we decided on sharing a chicken parm stromboli. We asked about something in the case which was their pepperoni bites so we got an order of those as well. This food is so legit! They use the best ingredients and the flavors are all there. Surprisingly, the pepperoni bites stole the show. I almost ordered another batch to take home. I'm so glad I found this place and will absolutely make it a regular stop when I'm on that route. read more

Visited Danny's Pizza on a recommendation from a neighbor. The restaurant was easy to find and had business so I thought, so far so good. Ordered my favorite ham and pineapple with a thin crust and sat down to wait. The experience was amazing as I learned it's a family owned business and I met several of the family members while waiting. The music kept me entertained as my conversations with the family. The pizza arrived and it was all I dreamed of. The crust was perfect, incredible sauce and plenty of toppings. What I noticed was there was no greasy runoff like I have experienced with other pizzas.
