Not sure where in NY this pizza is trying to say they are the style of. There is enough cheese on this pizza for two pizzas. Sauce was good, crust was decent. I asked for garlic powder and he totally blew me off and told me it was in the top box. Guess he wasn't listening because I said powder not garlic knots... I've had worse pizzas out of the NY region. Stopped in for lunch on our way back home. Very homey and they have a daily lunch special of 2 slices and a soda for $6. I got a hot turkey sub and it was Giant. The meat was not hot and ice cold in the middle but the bread was warm . My husband got a cheesesteak w onion and cheese. He very much enjoyed it. He said he gives it 4 stars. Inarguably the best pizza in North Myrtle Beach, and surrounding areas. Although, since most other pizzerias are basically inedible or chains, the bar is extraordinarily low. That said, the slices are pretty reliably more than above-average. The staff has clearly been taught well, by someone who knows what they're doing, and, even more importantly, the brands of ingredients used are seemingly the ones that make a pizza taste right. One important note, especially for customers from the more Northern parts of this country, you may need to ask them to make sure the slices are fully heated to the correct molten temperature. Down here, slices, and whole pies, tend to be sadly undercooked -- and this is basically the main typical flaw that also affects Gino's. But, 5 stars for being good pizza in North Myrtle Beach. read more

We stopped in here on a whim during our vacation to North Myrtle in March 2024. We ordered a large cheese to bring back to our AirBNB. We opted to wait for our pie and it came out quite quickly. Now, the ultimate test, how would it taste? I'm originally from NY, so I am a bit picky about my pizzas. However, this one hit it out of the park - going to give it 4.5 stars! This is great NY style pizza. The flavors throughout the pizza are well-balanced. The quality of ingredients is also pretty good. The crust has a little chew to it and makes for a good base to the pizza. Our garlic knots were pretty good. The garlic flavor wasn't super strong, but the texture was good. Ten years of being a loyal customer, and this is the first time I've had to say this was not a good experience. Came in at 5:30pm on a Saturday and yes, it was a little busy but I've definitely seen it busier in here. Ordered two cheese pizzas...both came out in record time and at the same time. Now, if they were cooked at the same time, how was one overcooked and the other way undercooked?? Very disappointed especially since I don't see any of the regular management staff here. I guess it shows that some leadership is needed to keep the quality in check. The pizza was fantastic. New York style at it's finest. We purchased a whole pizza and it was huge, but it warmed up great the next day. The service was very good also. I had to edit this review sadly because tonight even though the pizza was good it literally cost me $50 for two pizzas... one was regular cheese the other half mushroom peppers and onions... the total was 47 and change including tax I get the notification from my card and it says I was charged 49.97... so not only was the pizza RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED but I got an extra slap in the face with the charge for using a card to pay..... didn't even say it on the receipt talk about grimey, back to making my own pizzas again read more

Found this lil NY style pizza spot while visiting the area. It sits in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for indoor as it was pretty chilly today. The ambiance is much like any NY pizzeria...counter, big steel oven, pizza boxes stacked high and a few tables. The service was decent, not overly friendly but certainly not rude. Then there's the food...big doughy garlic knots, nice sized hot wings and piping hot yummy pizza! The food was fresh, hot and very good! I give Gino's a solid 4 stars! I highly recommend visiting! read more

We had not been to Gino's for about a year and then stopped by for a carry out pizza, but when we got it home, the bottom was badly burnt. Gino seems to have all new staff compared to the past and the pizza is definitely not as good as it used to be. Although the location is convenient, we will not be going back since they no longer serve tasty pizza. read more

Placed our order in-person. Was told it would be $7.50 for extra cheese. The whole 18" pizza cost $30 for 5 toppings. We got it home, and like an amateur I didn't inspect it before leaving the place. Crust was burnt to a crisp and ¼" thick​. The topping were loaded on some slices, and nonexistent on others. If this is typical NY pizza, I'll stick to Digiorno's. we have been coming here since we moved to the area in 2010. in the beginning it was great. As time has progressed it has changed and not for the better. You never know what your pizza will be getting. it could be good, the next time it can be mediocre. we have had pizza that had almost no crust. The store itself needs a complete overhaul . there is dust on the molding,where you sit. a few of the tiles overhead shows signs of water damage as do the ceiling fans. read more

I found it! The best pizza in NMB. Over the past decade we have tried virtually every pizza joint from Barefoot Landing to Calabash. While we have discovered several very good pizzarias, we never landed on "The One". Until now. Gino's has the real deal. Their dough is top notch with a touch of garlic. All of the ingredients are high quality. We had an 18" Pepperoni and an 18" Margarita for seven adults and had a few slices left for breakfast. The slices were massive.
