First off, we've had Sergio's pizza once when we first moved into the area and it was not bad. Our second experience, just days ago involved a sit down meal. I ordered chicken parmigiana and my wife had the cheesesteak sub. The cheesesteak sub was tasty but the amount of cheesesteak was maybe a half a cup and it was clumped in the very middle of the bread...not enough for the whole sub that's for sure. The chicken parmigiana was not good. The sauce tasted like canned spaghetti o's and the chicken cutlets were stamped out frozen breaded patties that were so full of gristle that just cutting them was a chore. Everybody in our party really enjoyed the food, from the 2 pasta dishes, to the Cubano sandwich (BTW, mustard is the standard, not mayo as the menu lists, to the chicken MARSALA.. The portions were generous without being overwhelming. We didn't order the pizza, but looking around the room, it seemed to be a popular choice. There were only a couple of mis-cues. Two of us ordered the crab soup. It was not delivered until the entrees were brought to the table, and the temp was not as hot as it should have been. The flavor was good, but neither of us cold find any crab in the bowl. One of ordered a salad, and the wrong dressing was served. But that's a minor point. Ordered a supreme pizza for takeout - really yummy, and good size for the price. Got a house salad to share, and that was terrible. 99% flavorless romaine with 1 tomato and cucumber and some onion pieces, and flavorless Italian dressing. We ended up throwing that away. Every time we come in for dinner, we prefer the high tops in the bar area. The servers always seem to remember what we like to drink. We like watching CAPS games here cause they'll put the sound on, sometimes gotta ask. read more

The food has consistently been excellent. Portion sizes are large, especially their lunch sandwiches; I had to cut a club sandwich into pieces, it was so tall I couldn't bite into it! Service has also been good even when they're crowded. My only complaint is it's often loud in the restaurant so not a great place if you want to chat. read more

Came here for an early dinner and our server was great! She was super friendly and very attentive. I had the shrimp salad wrap with onion rings, and they were both really yummy, and the onion rings were big and fresh. We also had the mushroom and Swiss burger with a big side of fries, the mushrooms were raw which was interesting but the burger was great. read more

Hubs and I on our typical Saturday running of errands decided to try this spot. Neither of us had been here before; so, it was good to try something new. We were greeted by a friendly young lady whom stood behind what appeared to be a "to go" counter and she asked if we were dining in or carryout. We were advised to have a seat wherever we liked. The atmosphere was restaurant style, however, had a bar area with televisions located all over the restaurant. Our drink orders were taken by another kind young woman who seemed to be managing all the tables alone. I was impressed that she did this with ease and maintained a pleasant demeanor. We both had an alcoholic beverage; he a spicy margarita and I caramel Appletini. He enjoyed his drink, mine was fine I'm just not a fan of Tito's in a martini. We were given menus and had questions, and our server graciously answered everything. As seen in the pictures, the food was awesome, the menu extensive, something for all pallets. We will likely go again as with tip, we landed under $60 for both of us. From the dessert case, the cake slices appeared fresh. Although we didn't try any, we may next time. The only thing I forgot to do was get my points from the visit. The restaurant has a rewards program which I signed up for prior to arriving. read more

Food is great and the old fashioned pizza is one of the best pizzas in Westminster. My only gripe is at times, when I order online, they give me the wrong type of bread. I've ordered their buffalo chicken sub multiple times and I'd say 2/5 times they give me a wrap instead of a sub roll. They also give me toppings I didn't select. It's not enough to not go there, but it is frustrating. read more

I love the onion rings, they are huge and have whole onions in them, the batter is spot on with crispness and a touch of sweetness they are so good! There are three pizza places within a short distance of each other and I found this one the easiest. The inside is divided between a bar and sit down tables and it was rather loud when I was there. I placed and order to go with the friendly staff. I had a short distance to drive back to where I was stopping and the pizza was still too hot to eat. It was loaded with toppings so much that the crust wasn't able to support them and kept dropping off. The pizza was excellent hot from the oven as well as the next morning eaten cold. Very impressed with this restaurant. We went for lunch with another couple. Our server was very attentive. I had this pizza yesterday. I got the margherita pizza and one with peppers and onions. It was pretty good. The sauce had a good flavor and even had a little bit of spice to it which was unexpected, but tasty! However, I wasn't a huge fan of how they didn't spread it evenly since many of my bites were just cheese + bread. My friend picked it up to go so I can't speak to the service or ambiance. Wife and I very much enjoy this restaurant. We have never recieved a poorly prepared meal here. Great subs, Denise's Special is our favorite, unique grilled Romain salad with grilled shrimp is very good. Great staff, great bar staff that can mix a fine drink. Friday and Sat can get a bit crowded, but that is because it is good. Take advantage of reserving a table on Fri and Sat available on there web site. Wife and I feel that they also serve the best pizza in Westminster. Very fairly priced, won't break the bank. read more

We have had multiple orders both pickup and delivery and we have always been pleased. The family is a big fan of the old fashioned pizza and the variety of the menu is good for the toddler life. Sometimes they have been slower but being able to weather the short staffing and unpredictability of supply chain issues, I think they do a good job. This was our first visit to Sergio's. We had a great meal last night! The lasagne and stromboli were delicious. My husband had a beer fight and I had a nice glass of pinto noir. My wallet isn't mad about it either...my waistline, on the other hand... seriously though, the bread is perfection: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the subs are jam packed and priced right. Very happy we found this place. We got a carry out pizza and found it very good. So after that we went for a sit down dinner in the resturant. The cheese steak subs were very good. Service was good. My only issue is that they provide Lays chips with the subs. There are so many small local chip options in this area, should have UTZ and support local. read more

Sergios was a different experience and want to try something new with the wife. We got seated right away and gotten our menu but there were no silverware on the table. The host tells us that our waiter (was a dude) will be here in a few minutes. We never saw him and i had to wave down somebody else to take our order. It seem that our orginal waiter (dude) was more helpful to the table that had 6 people and was expecting a bigger tip then to wait on us of two. Well i hope he got a tip that was less than 10%. The waitress that i had to wave down gotten a bigger tip because she took us right away without making an excuse that she will get somebody else. Just had my second meal at Sergio's. The first, there were 8 of us and we all ordered something different. The food was all brought to the table at the same time - correctly! Today there were 10 of us, and it was a repeat of the first visit. The food was great! The menu - vast! They also have a huge number of draft beers. I'm old school who believes 3 strikes you're out!!! I will never order carry-out from Sergio's again. On 3 different occasions I have ordered a whole steak sub(no cheese or hots) with lettuce, tomatoes, RAW onions & extra Mayo. 1st time, sub had cheese, fried onions & rest of condiments. 2nd time, sub had fried onions & rest of condiments. This last time, sub had fried onions & no other condiments. How hard can it be to make a steak sub the way I order it? read more

Their pizzas have changed. Don't know if there are different hands doing pizza, I understand Sergio is still cooking, but pizza dough was thick and mushy, burnt on almost a full half. It's been my go to for pizza since they opened and reopened but that may be changing if we get too many more like that. Happened twice now. read more

I went in there about 2pm on a Thursday after lunchtime it was pretty slow. I ordered carry out from the counter and was glad I did order from there, and not from the bar. I have been in the restaurant industry for over 30 years mostly behind the bar and management. Anyway, the girl at the carry out was extremely helpful and pleasant, I placed my order left a tip and waited at the bar. Here's where my problem begins, it was a very hot day and I would have ordered a drink at the bar had I been offered anything. I sat there for over 15 minutes waiting for my carry out and the bartender (who wasn't very busy 3 bar customers and 1 table) didn't bother to ask me anything at all or engage in any polite conversation. No big deal , I had a water in the car but it could have been a few more bucks in the register and being a bartender all my life a few more bucks in her pocket. Also, while I was waiting she was making a drink at the service bar and opened a canned beverage and sprayed it on me with no regard. No acknowledgement, no apology whatsoever. This broad would have been better suited for a job at Social Security or the MVA certainly not any type of customer service. Anyhow, long story short the food is good and it's hard to find a decent place in Westminster anymore. If you go I would recommend sitting in the dining room or order carry out. I certainly wouldn't pay for that kind of treatment from that miserable #*@×! and that's coming from a bartender ! read more
