Went to last week after an extended absence. LL has fantastic pizza. One of my top 3 in the areas surrounding Baltimore. The reason for only 3 stars,. ..(bartenders, please take note), if a patron has an empty glass placed at the edge of the bar, it's probably a good sign that a second drink is desired. Don't wait until the patron finishes the last slice to stop talking to the other bartender and ask 'you want another beer?'. Yeah, 15 minutes ago would have been nice. Our party of three enjoyed The Liquid Library! We started with the famous Chicken Lollipops, and now we understand why they're a fan favorite. These soy, ginger, and sriracha-marinated drumsticks bathed in chimichurri sauce are sweet, salty, and full of umami flavor. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and incredibly juicy. We also shared the Surf and Turf Steak Sandwich, a perfect combination of shrimp, steak, arugula, and a smoky chipotle sauce. You know it's a great sandwich when every bite is balanced and every ingredient complements the next. And of course, you can't come to The Liquid Library without talking about the perfectly balanced, and downright delicious cocktails. I couldn't wait to come back to enjoy a yummy drink! The Basil Limoncello Smash was bright and refreshing, the Coconut Mojito (a must-try for coconut lovers!) was tropical perfection, and the Banana Bread Mai Tai that tastes exactly like banana bread! Black walnut infusion? Genius! As a Bees Knees fan, I had to order one too, and it was spot on. I went for a work happy hour and loved it! We sat near the bar and ordered a variety of drinks and food. I loved that there were so many cocktails as well as mocktails to choose from! Highly recommend this cool restaurant and bar. Felt welcome as soon as we walked in. Very busy Friday night but we were lucky to grab a seat at the bar. Huge menu of cocktails that all sounded amazing. The bartenders are so talented and very helpful with recommendations on food and drinks. The owner, Andrew checked on us and was so kind and could tell he's passionate about his business. We got the meatballs and the veggie pizza. The meatballs were huge and seasoned perfectly. They were juicy and had a lot of meat in it without being dense. The bite was light and airy. The sauce was tangy and had a nice touch of acidity. It went well with the bread. The pizza was huge and I liked how there was a lot of veggie toppings on it. The pizza was a tad too watery on the bottom for me, but it was still good (not a huge deal breaker). There is a lot of cheese on the pizza which I wasn't the biggest fan of either, but it was still tasty. Service was good and they wait staff was friendly and attentive. I liked the seating outside. My husband and I came here for a date night. We decided to order a bunch of small plates and drinks. First, we would like to say the drinks are amazing. I had a key like martini and a Florida Keys punch. Mt husband had a non alcoholic Shirley Temple and all three drinks were great. The service was also great. The establishment itself is small so it gets quite loud, so it was hard to talk sometimes. The food was ok. We started with the prom belly which was good flavor wise, but not crisp as we would have liked it. Next we had the jerk steak, which we really enjoyed but we wouldn't call the sauce jerk, it was more of a chimchurri. We also had the meatballs which were excellent. We then had the burger sliders, which we thought the meat was over seasoned for the sauce that was on it and simply didn't mesh well. We then had the Brussel sprouts with balsamic and cheese. The balsamic and Brussel sprouts were a unique combo but it over powered the cheese (we werent sure if it was goat or feta). Then we had the chicken lollipops. We thought it would be an asian inspired ground chicken lollipop so we were surprised it was actual drumsticks with the same chimchurri sauce from the steak. Overall it was an ok experience. Excellent service with servers, bartenders, and management that is engaged and wants every patron to have a great experience. These are crafted cocktails so don't expect anything quickly out of a bottle. Their drinks are tasty and well balanced and the food especially the wood fired pizzas are something to write home about. I took my husband here for his birthday. The food was pretty good, nothing spectacular, but the service was not great. The drinks and food came out at all different times, we had to sit with our food for about 5 mins until the waitress came back to give us silverware, I ordered wine and it took about 15mins for it to arrive, my husband ordered a beer and it seemed like the waitress forgot about it then the keg was kicked and she said it would be a while until they could swap it out. I went to Liquid Library with my fiancee to celebrate. The waitress did not like the amount of her tip. The waitress voiced her dissatisfaction with other customers and co workers. This was extremely unprofessional. As a result of the waitress sharing her opinion, a customer followed us out of the restaurant shouting about her tip. It resulted in a verbal confrontation from the customer to my fiancee and I. I immediately felt UNSAFE. This was all due to the waitress unprofessionalism. A small meat lovers is $15 not much to choose from food wise, the two of us shared a pizza, maple bourbon pork belly, and got 1 drink each and it was like $54 I could spend that same amount at rocksalt and have plenty of leftovers to take home. Wow. First time at Liquid Library tonight with hubz and it was *awesome.* Very busy and pretty loud, but for a Saturday, that's to be expected. At 5:45pm, we were fortunate to snag a two-person high top between the bar and low tops. Our server Megan was absolutely fantastic and very attentive. The cocktail menu was varied and interesting - there's something for everyone here. The food menu was fun to explore and we enjoyed sampling a little of everything - pork belly bites, meatballs, stuffed mushrooms, and chicken lollipops to name a few - all delicious. The pistachio martini, smoky basil Oaxaca, and espresso martini (complete with a grilled marshmallow) were standout cocktails. Cannot wait to go back!! read more

I had a great experience at Liquid Library! I came on a Sunday afternoon for an after meal drink and was impressed with the cocktail selection, funky ambiance, and warm service. We sat at the bar and were greeted right away. We ordered the Kir Royale and the Guava Caipirinha, both of which were very good. The drinks were reasonably priced for the quality (most in the $8-$13 range) and the bartenders were friendly and attentive, answering any questions we had and engaging in amiable bar chit chat. The modern vibe (prohibition speakeasy meets dark academia) and eclectic cocktail selection was more something you'd expect to find in Baltimore or DC proper rather than Historic Westminster. We did not have any food but the pizza looked delicious. We will have to come back and order food to get the full experience, but I was thoroughly pleased with what we experienced thus far! read more

The prosciutto wrapped shrimp are a must! We had the veggie pizza - very good crust and wood fired. The meatballs were a familiar choice but they were done really well and the addition of the ricotta was a nice touch. The food options are great and so many things looked good - we are definitely going to come back just to try out the other options! If you live within driving distance and are planning a date night or just want to enjoy a new and exciting dining experience this is the place to go. I was expecting a lot more since the line is always out the door. To start, I put my name in for our party of 3 and was told a 30 minute wait. As I was waiting outside for my text a group of 3 walked past me and asked how long the wait was. They happened to walk in as a table was leaving and was told they could be seated right away, I still had to wait 30+ minutes. Since the place is PACKED and TINY inside, it's pretty noisy. Add in TV's and music and you cannot hear anything, you have to scream your order to the server, my Apple Watch went off numerous times that the environment was too loud. There are tons of drink options and a decent food variety. I got the Caesar salad with flank steak and meatballs, both were disappointing. The steak was raw and fatty, but since it's so busy it's hard to find staff. Prices are pretty high too, $40+ for less than average food. I would try again if/when the crowd decreases but not the best option in the area. read more
