Food is as close to authentic as you can find here in Westminster. We have tried the burritos, tacos, and Cuban torta. Everything has been on point. Only exception is the quesadillas. Meat was tender but cheese they use could be better. Margaritas are yummy read more

I love the Carne Asada tacos, they are generous with the steak which is very tasty. The service is always great.

We love finding authentic Mexican places and this one was the real deal. We tried all the tacos and by far our favorite was the carnitas. Guacamole was delicious and Mexican street corn was good but alittle too cream for our liking. Do your self a favor and grab a margarita. I've been hesitant to leave a review because I don't want our spot to get crazy crowded My husband and I are regulars at this place, as in we've been here MORE than a dozen times and it has been unbelievable every time. It's our favorite spot for tacos, fajitas, margaritas, you name it. My favorites are the chicken or steak tacos and the fajitas. Their margaritas are HUGE and delicious (Blackjack is my favorite). The servers are great and their service is super quick. I speak to them in Spanish (to brush up on my bilingual skills ) but my husband speaks English to them and it's always fine. We like Taco Loco! We love that their whole fried tilapia dish (mojarra frita) and it always comes out hot and crispy. We also loved their arroz con pollo (rice with chicken) dish from a previous visit and this time we tried the arroz con camarones (rice with shrimp). The shrimp was well seasoned and the rice is delicious though there was something making it a little on the salty side (but still good!). We also got their carnitas tacos which my boys gulped up greedily and my husband always appreciates their burritos. We had four different kinds of tacos from this restaurant today. We had the Baja fish, al pastor, carnitas, and steak tacos. They were all about average. Ambiance is fine, service is a bit overbearing (beats neglect), and the food is fine. Lunch...not busy at all. We can't eat cilantro, have the gene that makes it taste like soap. A little bit in some things is masked, so fine. We ordered food without cilantro and got that. But I asked if there was a pico I could get, so waiter brought a side clearly loaded with cilantro. We went to this place when it first opened and the tacos were great. We went back last weekend and I DO NO RECOMMEND!!! I would give zero stars if that was an option. Both food and service was TERRIBLE. The street corn was canned corn topped with chipotle mayonnaise served in a tiny bowl and they don't give you small plates, when we asked they brought out giant dinner plates. I asked our waiter for Cholula 3 times (which was on the other tables) and he brought us Salt??? Then the tacos - the pastor tacos were BBQ pork with canned pineapple (BBQ is not listed on the menu and it was clearly a tub of pre-made pork BBQ). The spicy shrimp was so chewy I had to spit out (and no spice) Everything was bland. The sangria was definitely out of a bottle/box with no fruit. When I told the waiter about the tacos, he just walked away and brought us the check. Never again will we step foot there and I would recommend no one else go there either. read more

Been wanting to try this for awhile and finally got there for lunch today with my daughter. We were both quite impressed. I got a burrito, trying not to get too stuffed but I did not leave there even close to hungry. The only odd thing was I had french fries as a side to my burrito. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and I definitely recommend checking this place out. We still had a 30 minute drive home which we expected to affect the quality of our order but everything was great and the burrito wasn't even soggy! I ordered the steak quesadilla and my husband ordered the chicken. They consisted of meat and minimal cheese; you had to really look to find the cheese. No onions or peppers. His didn't have much chicken on it. The steak was tough. No sides came with it. Ordered the street corn that came in a small paper bowl and was like someone opened a can of corn and dumped it in, sprinkled a tiny bit of seasoning and barely warm. Margaritas were fair at best. Nothing to brag about. A lot of money for a little bit of tasteless food. Save your money and go to Papa Joe's down the street, you won't be sorry. I'd give zero stars if I could. read more
