I was helping my parents with some errands and it was time for lunch and we stopped at Sergio's for a pizza. Their menu is extensive featuring handmade pizzas, calzones, rolls, appetizers, salads, pasta dinner platters, heros and even desserts. We ordered a cheese pizza and were told to sit down and they would bring the pizza to the table when it was ready. We got sodas and shortly after sitting down, the pizza arrived piping hot to the table. It was delicious. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. When they saw we were having trouble separating the slices of pizza, they brought over a spatula for ease plate transfer. Their restroom was clean and well maintained. This is by far my favorite pizza place on LI! Unfortunately, most Italian restaurants serve pizza that is greasy and have sweet sauce as well as doughy garlic knots. This place, on the other hand, has plenty of selection, well cooked garlic knots that make you hungry just looking at them, wonderful marinara, and the smell of garlic hits your nose as soon as you walk in! The service is nice, even when the place is super crowded. Everything tastes as great as it smells and looks, and the crust is thin and crispy, as pizza should be. Sergio's- service is just as important if not more important then the taste of food. In saying that your pizza is very good and being in a industry of many competitors that's very important. However, the service your providing behind the counter is sub par at best. There is no reason to get push back on how I would like the temperature of my pizza. The eye rolling along with snarky comment is unnecessary. The young lady with the blonde to reddish hair should not be dealing with your guests. I will not be returning to your location. read more

This place has delicious food and provides excellent customer service. I am so thankful to Sergio's for going above and beyond for our family this past weekend. My mother, who is a regular customer, decided to preorder multiple meals to feed our family after my brother's funeral service. When the manager found out what was going on, she helped put our order together, provided suggestions, and customized things to meet our needs. When we got the food and began opening everything up, it was very apparent that we probably got twice as much as we ordered and they also threw in plates, napkins, and anything else they thought we might need. Hate to trash a local business but this is the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. I'm from the area, ordered once & it was very underwhelming to say the least. Gave another chance and it's literally the worst pie I've ever had. Chose "well done" which is an option THEY offer..it was even partially done it was practically raw - both times. They use canned mushrooms instead of fresh which ruined my pie. At $3 a topping you can't even use fresh mushrooms. The sauce is awful and there's very little on there. The slices flopped over like a limp "you know what". I don't discriminate with pizza but this was horrendous. Never again. You've been warned. read more

We often order delivery from Sergio's and really enjoy their food. The pizza is great (although it could use more sauce). The meatball heroes are delicious and never too spicy like other places. Their salads are plentiful and very good, especially the antipasti salad. We also recommend their zeppoles for dessert. Prices are reasonable and delivery is always fast and accurate. I went in there to pick up my order and all of a sudden and employee started yelling at the one guy telling him to hurry up with the pizzas. In front of all the customers she was yelling at him and he responded that the pizza was already in the oven that if it did not get there on time it was the delivery persons fault. I found that very rude especially since there was customers around. If she wanted the pizzas done why couldn't she just help. The whole situation made me think that they are really treating there employees bad considering it was a Hispanic man she was yelling at. read more

The pizza from Sergio's is worth mentioning as INCREDIBLY good. The dough itself is as tender as fresh baked bread inside, yet has a lovely crunch on the outside. It is (thankfully) NOT over salted, but instead has a delicious, bright flavor. No need to drink a gallon of water after this pizza. The ingredients for my toppings were sausage, and a nice, thick chopped fresh bacon. No skimping there! Both meats were very fresh, bite-sized generous portions yet thin cut enough to eat easily. You receive a mouthful of flavor with no mess down your shirt! The Mozzarella cheese is a full bodied whole milk, full of flavor and has a nice string to it. Delightful to pull a piece and see the appetizing string, but the cheese doesn't pull off your piece. It stays put! Served hot and fast. But the fun part is at Sergio's you can also buy the dough and make your own pizzas at home! We made a breakfast pizza with scrambled egg, sausage and bacon which came out beautifully. When you shape the dough it's kneaded nicely and elastic. Easy to form. No holes when you shape this dough! My family has eaten pizza from just about every shop from Virginia to New York. and today, with Sergio's, ALL of my 3 teen boys asked me where we got THIS good pizza, and asked for more. This place was once a good bet, but it has gone downhill for months. They have messed up our order 4 or 5 times now, and we are no longer going to tolerate things like undercooked pizza and missing items. When I called tonight to find out why they didn't bring my salad, they said they were busy and all the orders went out with no salad. When I called, they said they wouldn't drive back out with a refund (the store that I was working at is 5 minutes away) Instead of being apologetic about a ROACH in my salad running around inside the container, they were rude, saying that if I wanted a refund that I would have to go another time since I would be getting out of work after they closed.
