    Regular & Brooklyn slice
    Rob P.

Pretty good pizza, especially for this area. The Brooklyn slice had a nice light, buttery crust. The regular " cheese" slice was good. It was a little doughy, maybe if they could get the underside of the pizza a little more crispy or well done without burning the top it would bump them up to 4 stars. The cheese & sauce were nice it just needs that crunch to put'em over the top.

    10'' Vegan Pizza

This week I found out Pelligrino Pizza now makes a vegan pizza! We had a pizza with an assortment of veggies and goveggie (plant based) cheese was used. Definitely ordering from here now on and wayyyy better service than Pazzo (20 mins means 45 mins)

    Margherita & House Special
    Christina J.

Came here with my cousin, we're working in the area & not many options. I found the small pizzeria clean. The Staff & I think the owner friendly. Now my take on the pizza. The flavor of the items on my pizza was good but I didn't care for the sauce. It was very sweet. I want my tomato pizza sauce to taste like tomatoes. I know some tomatoes can be sweet naturally I.e. San Marzano, but this was sugary sweet. I got a Margherita slice & a House Special with chicken cutlets on it. I tasted the House Special first. Good seasoning on the cutlets but that Dag gone sauce was ruining the flavor profile. So I thought it was the House Special. Then I tasted the Margherita Razzle Frazzle! Same sauce for both! Not cool. For me that is. Taste is subjective to personal preference. Would I go back if I was in the area? Yes. Would I seek it out? Nah, not likely.

One slice cut in half for a little pizza lover. Hot, gooey and smells fantastic.

Just a quick stop In this time but I will be back. Enormous slices. Perfectly cooked and the counter service was so pleasant. They even had a table delivery for the dining room. Many types of specialty slices, garlic knots and pinwheels. Pelligrino sodas. Perfect, classic and recommended.

    BBQ chicken pizza.... pretty bomb

When we got there, we found parking in front. It was around 3p on a Sunday. The place is spacious. They have large seating in front, a dining room and bar in the back, as well as a patio. I wanted to sit in the patio area but they have plants and herbs growing out there, and the bees have been festive this season. We ordered our pizza up front. The young lady that was helping us was very patient and nice. We ordered quite a few slices since they have a large selection. They heated everything up and put it all on trays for us. The condiments are neatly arranged near the pickup area. We sat and ate. The pizza was very good. I had a sauseej and roni sicilian, hubby had two slices of their chicken ranch, and our kiddo had their BBQ chicken slice, and a slice of a thicc sicilian circle pie - that thing was huge but really good! We ordered some drinks from the bar but we're a little disappointed that the juice they used is from a can. It has a fake taste and we didn't like that but everything else was on point. I'm sure you can't go wrong with a glass of wine. They have pizza kits and all kinds of other specialty pizzas. I was tempted to get a slice of their pepperoni slice with the garlic know crust. That would have been overkill for me. I made sure to grab menus so we can leave them over at the MIL's house for future ordering.

I don't even know how to rate them ... 3.5 seems right, so do I go 4 stars for the solid flavors, or do l go with 3 because the pizza needed a third ingredient for complexity and a lot less grease, the white bean soup was made with red kidney beans, and the meatballs were in an ounce of this sauce... But that short rib pie could be something really special, I added a balsamic drizzle, even great with some horseradish. We definitely want to explore the menu more, am I right? Maria is soft-spoken and kind, and the food is always top notch. Service can be slow at the counter, they have been understaffed a few times while I was there, just Dean and Maria. The eggplant rollatini is always fantastic -- easily our favorite eggplant out of the local places. And the meatball hero was great too. No misses. We also really like their pizza and end up ordering from here about every other week, which is probably the strongest endorsement I can give. Inside has that classic pizza joint vibe -- perfect when you just want to grab a quick slice while you're out and about. One small suggestion that would make them even better: it would be awesome if individual slices were available for online ordering. Our server came over and told us that two of the items on the chalkboard - including one we had planned to order - had been sold out already. This was at 6 pm on a weekend night. So we went back to looking at the menu. Within seconds, our server showed up again - the steak had been 86ed. We went back to looking at the menu. Our server returned to our table a couple of minutes later and told us how he liked to rank the restaurant's dishes, then telling us about his top three in minute detail. We were pretty sure what we wanted at this point. But our server came back one more time to tell us that the salad from the specials menu - again, a dish we planned to order - was gone. At this point I began to wonder if we would be allowed to pick our own food for the meal. Anyway, we settled on another dish and beckoned our server over for his fourth (and first invited) visit to our table. We ordered. The food came in a reasonable amount of time. The pasta and pizza were good, the salad dressed with something a bit too acidic. We ate, paid, and left, still somewhat in disbelief. Maybe if this place had fewer items on the menu, they'd be able to stock more ingredients for each one. As things stand, it's a rather frustrating venue (albeit one with a clearly devoted following). P.S. The noise level in the restaurant is high - we were practically shouting to hear each other at various points during our dinner.
