What a lovely experience. Very bright on the inside with all of the natural lighting, and the service was amazing. Very large menu, something for everyone. I absolutely loved their crab rangoons, I think they were the best I've ever had. I enjoyed my teriyaki bowl and mango slushy/smoothie as well!!

Wait I can't believe I never dropped a review on my most favorite spot in Tosa- I go here ALL the time and the one order I get every time is the Veggie Set for both lunches and dinners!! They just never miss. My veggie set comes with a garden maki roll and it's so good with the splatter of spicy mayo, a touch of the red spicy sauce, and then even better when the roll is fresh, you get a solid tempura crunch in your bite. Best sushi ever. My friend's go to order is her usual California rolls and sometimes a shrimp tempura! She highly recommends the pork buns for an app. I've enjoyed their Parmesan truffle fries and spring rolls too!

Kin is such a fun spot to check out in Tosa! We went at 5pm on a Friday and were seated right away however it got busy pretty shortly after, just as an fyi. I love the menu versatility offered as I felt there is a little something for everyone. S/o to our waiter who was so kind and attentive all evening which we really appreciated! The thai tea and iced coffee are often our go to drinks; they were so delicious- definitely worth trying if you have a sweet tooth. I tried the Milwaukee Roll, miso soup, and we split garlic fried rice. Overall I really enjoyed everything I had - especially the salmon and shrimp sushi roll- such good flavors! Would definitely recommend giving Kin a try- I plan to go back to try some new things!

Really great food, service and set up. The only reason for less than 5 stars is the wait time. However, if time isn't an issue, 5 stars will be the rating. I am in town for work, so I dined by myself and they have a cute table by a window for solo diners. I saw that it takes a while for food to come out, they were busy, no empty tables, so I ordered edamame and salmon rolls for a starter and then the duck for my entree. Honestly, I was good after the apps but proceeded through my dinner. It was all so good. Staff checked in throughout my meal. A really great place to try. Cost was roughly $35.

Ramen was really good. Definitely hits the spot on a cold day. Highball cocktail was on point.

First time trying this spot and it is by far the best sushi I've had in the greater Milwaukee area. We got the Crunchy Spicy Salmon, Spicy Tuna Roll, and the Clumsy Bueno. Everything was a solid 10/10 even as takeout! Definitely our new go-to Sushi spot

We visited Kin by Rice n Roll during the last hour of a Thursday night, and the place was still absolutely packed. That might explain some of the slow service--there appeared to be just one server trying to keep up with a full room in a very small space--but the delays still made the experience feel a bit strained. The prices, though, were the biggest surprise. Most of the complex rolls were around $17, while even the simplest ones were about $9, which felt pretty outrageous for what you get. Unfortunately, something in the meal didn't agree with me. I ended up feeling sick afterward and into the next day, which overshadowed much of the visit. My partner, on the other hand, really enjoyed the non-fish options, so from a vegan or vegetarian perspective, this spot seems to deliver well. Overall, despite a few highlights, I don't think I'll be returning--neither my wallet nor my stomach is eager for a repeat visit.

The food here was amazing, as always, on a recent visit with family. I finally tried the crab fried rice and it was phenomenal. I'd worried that there wouldn't be enough crab to justify the price and I was dead wrong. it was filled with lumps of delicious crab meat and the sauces served with the rice just intensified the experience. The sushi was on point as well - I always enjoy the Tosa toll and BF enjoyed his soft shell crab roll. My cousin's steak dish was a a delight for her. Her husband thoroughly enjoyed his samplers and his sake flight. This time, however, the service was just off. The restaurant was not terribly crowded and we got that right as it opened on a Sunday, but the timing was dismal. Diners waited forever for food to come out. Even cocktails were slow. Someone's entire order was dropped and all I could think was, "Thank god, it wasn't ours. I'm starving here." Hoping it was just a bad night, because Kin's food is too good to let slow service keep you away.

I went to visit some friends and they took me out to this restaurant. Parking ramp is behind the restaurant and free. Reservations or wait list recommended. My friends were telling me how delicious the food is and it's always busy. We sat outside since there's no wait, however inside looks really pretty and intimate with the lighting. They offered a mixture of sushi, Ramen, and thai. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in town.

From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. My son loved his mango smoothie--fresh and smooth. My son and I both ordered the spicy miso ramen, and it was hands down some of the best ramen I've had in the city. My daughter had the sushi rolls--the Sexy Summer, Spicy Crab, and Crunchy Shrimp--and each one was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Shoutout to our server, Tony, who was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. The overall vibe, food quality, and service were all excellent.

Sister restaurant to rice n roll!! Decent & affordable asian food in mke -- I was disappointed by the sushi roll we got but maybe we just ordered wrong?? Tonkotsu ramen was enough to satisfy my ramen craving and might be one of the better ramen spots around here. Best crab rangoons we've had in a while tho and the mango sticky rice was good too. Appreciate the service and that we didn't feel rushed to finish even a few minutes after they closed. Nice interior inside, along with good music

My husband and I love this place. The food is always fresh and flavorful. Usually there is a wait in the evenings but never longer than 20 minutes. One of our top restaurants we like to frequent!

A few of my friends frequent this place and they invited me to try it and everything was divine. I started off a the kin wings for an appetizer and they were really good. For dinner I had the Tum Yum ramen which was phenomenal. It came with beef, boiled egg two differently types of noodles. The sauce was a mixture of sweet and spicy. It was definitely filling because halfway through the bowl I was full. The service can be a bit of wait if you don't have a reservation. Saturday is a popular night. Once you are seated the waiters are there are fast they gave us a complimentary appetizer because we had to wake a little bit longer than expected. My favorite thing to do last night was the sake bomb. My friend who is from Thailand showed us how to do it, which was fun. The ambiance of the place is very good. It puts you in the mind of a restaurant in Asian culture.

I frequently like to ask what are some of the most popular items people buy when I go to a new place and aren't familiar with the offerings. There were a number of things on the menu - a variety of hot dogs, boba teas, and tornado potatoes. When I was there, several customers were enjoying a large bowl of shaved ice with toppings - that seemed to be popular. There are a few seats to hang around while snacking/eating. There is a large public parking lot just behind the shop up the hill, a conveniently located spot. I picked up a 3-pack of Mochiring doughuts, with the following flavors: mango; churro; brown sugar. The doughnuts were placed in a rectangular box which made it easy to carry home. Because it was hot, I ordered a fruit boba tea- mango with green tea and with mango-flavored popping boba. It was my first time to have the popping boba. The green tea plus the mango, which was recommend by the cashier/front counter attendant was really good. After trying the popping boba, it was fine, but I personally prefer the regular boba (I think it is a personal preference). I'd definitely get the green tea and mango combo again. The doughnuts were light and airy, and I like the fact they are small, sliightly smaller than bite-sized rounds. I'll come back another time to try the famous hot dogs - and I'd come again for the doughnuts, too. I recommend stopping by if you want to try something new.
