Jacob is truly an excellent lawyer and also just an amazing person who truly cares for his clients! I had been rear ended and had had a previous injury to my neck that took many injections to correct but I was pain free so when I was rear ended I didn't have whiplash, I ended up with spinal stenosis and severe arthritis in my neck. I knew I needed a great lawyer especially after years before I dealt with an incompetent lawyer who really did the bare minimum. I googled the best lawyers in the area and there was Jacob who not only had the best reviews of anyone I had ever seen in any profession. I also looked at his credentials and he not only had worked for some excellent firms but had also been awarded as best lawyer several times. I contacted him and he immediately got back to me. I knew as soon as we talked that he was no typical lawyer. I don't believe that there is any other lawyer who truly cares about his clients. The person who hit me had Mercury insurance and were known for paying the absolute minimum. As I am bipolar and on disability they really didn't want to pay as I could not claim loss of income, however I do make jewelry and that became difficult and painful to work on. Making jewelry is one of the few things I can do so this was very difficult. Jacob told me he would do absolutely everything to get me the full amount. He was so kind and sympathetic to my situation as I had to have physical therapy along with injections. This accident happened about a year before covid. Even during covid he could be reached by phone and zoom. He always kept me updated and again, could be reached at anytime and always answered my questions in a way I could understand. He was also always so patient with all of my often stupid questions. He prepped me very well for my deposition which could have been terrifying but he was a pitbull when it came to questions he didn't think were appropriate and he was so supportive especially with my anxiety issues. He told me he was going to get me the full amount and after nearly going to trial three times they settled for the full amount. He put a huge amount of work into my case and he certainly delivered! Also this was not some big money case but he put his full effort into it. He truly cares especially since he actually, and I have NEVER heard of a lawyer doing this but he instead of taking the stated 45% because of how far it went with Mercury but out of the true kindness actually only took 40% and that extra money REALLY helped! I would never have even asked for a discount yet he, on his own did that for me. This money was a lifesaver as I had a huge amount of debt. He also had lost his father just months before to dementia and even through his pain he never let up. I am also dealing with my mother who has the same thing and we talked quite a bit about that. He was the one who motivated me to spend more time with her and I am so glad I do. Just another thing that shows what an amazing person he is. Not only that he loved my jewelry so much that he actually bought a set of earring and necklace for his girlfriend who I actually got to meet and is as wonderful as jacob. I feel so blessed that I found him on yelp as had I gone with some other firm I know for sure they would have done the bare minimum and after their fee I would had very little left. I know several people who have used other lawyers with terrible result so I know how incredibly lucky I am to have found such a hard working and caring lawyer and who is awesome at what he does.
