I called Jacob after I was hit by a car that ran a stop sign while I was in the crosswalk. I picked Jacob because of his excellent reviews and his pleasant but knowledgeable demeanor on the phone. He put me at ease about my case as I underwent 2 knee surgeries as a result of the accident. Jacob handled my personal injuries case admirably. Would highly recommend Jacob for a variety of civil matters like wrongful termination stuff. Even though Jacob wasn't able to take me on as a client, he continued to answer my phone calls and listen to my employment woes plaguing my now chronically unemployed life. When most firms answer your call for intakes/follow ups/etc., with a receptionist. It's a series of steps to get your needs addressed. It goes something like this: -Receptionist passes to, - Paralegal passes to, -attorney/attorney's voicemail. If attorney's voicemail, in my experience, the odds client shall receive a prompt response --if at all -- are significantly low. So if that, then we loop back to the, -Receptionist. And begin again! But Jacob is different. Jacob (The attorney) usually answers the call bypassing all 'filler channels', saving client time and reducing stress levels. In 2020 I was involved in a very intense car accident. A driver ran a red light hitting myself on the driver side door and tour the front of my car apart. I just turned 18 and the vehicle I purchased wasn't even 3 weeks old. I was so young and dumb I procrastinated buying car insurance for the car and didn't know what to do. I was living in Palmdale at the time and commuting to Pasadena for work. I was the security guard for an office building where I met Jacob. I didn't know his profession at the time but he was always the kindest. Always made sure I was doing okay and leaving a smile on my face even when he was super busy, he always made sure he acknowledged me. It says a lot about a person. I returned to work not even 12 hours after my accident because I had too. I was trying my best to mask what happened but when Jacob saw my face he knew something was up. With such compassion he gave me all his attention and listened. I never had needed a lawyer and when I found out he had his own firm all my anxiety went away. My case was a pretty interesting one. I had no insurance and the other drivers insurance company was doing an investigation of the accident. I had a witness at the scene and within 3 days Jacob had his recorded statement and all the police reports for the investigation. At the end of there investigation, I received the letter from the insurance company wanting to give me 80% liability and their insured 20%, claiming I should have gotten out of his way. I called Jacob crying, I felt so defeated. One thing about Jacob, he is one call away for everything. Whatever question, thoughts, doubts, he was and still is there to answer them. Through his guidance in 2021 I filed a lawsuit and It ended with a settlement deal with the insurance company. I won! Everything was cleared from my name. Jacob has a heart of gold, truly. He fought for me, and is always completely honest about everything. I was so broke during that time, paying for rental cars, my car loan, etc. I couldn't imagine paying the rest of my car note and the other drivers for an accident I did not cause. With Jacob's help I was able to start nursing school which I will be done with in July. It was a very hard time but because of him, I was able to relax.
