Very nice and said take your time but kept asking me if I made up cumins or choices. No one there but 1 other person to order. They did have unbelievable coffee cake and carrot cake samples. Lady asked if samples of cookies, she said she wanted to try one first, they kinda ignored her after saying no samples for them. The soft pretzel stick and Darker Belgium bagel pretzel was excellent. Loved the sesame seed hard roll. Texture on the outside was stronger than the soft inside like it should be if you steam or boil the outside before baking. I like spinach dip with bigger ingredients like carrot or chestnut but saw nothing but it still tasted great. Just no crunch like in some really good home made dips or even Meijer for that matter. read more

Customer service was excellent and fast. Very fresh veggie sandwich stacked high!! My husband got the hot ham and cheese on a pretzel bun and he said it was delicious! My friend bought me a special order fruit tart... And it was covered in mold! The store said they would order a new tart - but asked me to take a few photos of the moldy tart before throwing it out. So I did. A couple days later, the store called to say they couldn't replace the tart since I had thrown out the original moldy cake (even though they told me to toss it). The manager was very rude and unwilling to accommodate me. When I said I was unlikely to try Servatii's again, she replied that it was my choice and hung up. We ordered from them for the first time on DoorDash for a mid-morning breakfast (breakfast bagels and donuts/pastries) and WOW. The bagels were delicious and the donuts and pastries were big, fluffy and so fresh and flavorful! Can't believe it took us this long to try them. We knew we loved their pretzels from ordering them from local restaurants, but now I'm happy to say we will continue to order food directly from them. Love! I mean the pretzels...AmIRight? This place is a gem. Their baked goods are wonderful and the shop is full of the sweet smell of sugar and carbs (yes, carbs have a smell and it is delicious). They are a little on the high side in price for some items, but that is part for the course in small business shopping. Their lunches are great and thoughtful (3 little cookies included!). It's tiny on the inside with only two tables but it's adorable and I love it. If I could leave you with anything...get the pretzels...and beer cheese. read more

I wanted to be sure to review the location I visited, so I copied it here We had heard about this place, but had no idea where it was. We were headed to lunch, and happened to see that Servatii was just a few doors down. They had a huge selection, so it was hard to choose. We decided to get a snack to share right then, and a pastry to enjoy the next morning. The snack we got was a chocolate mousse cake, which was delicious. I got a cherry cream cheese danish that looked like a muffin. It was really good. My wife got the cinnamon roll, which was incredible! We agreed that it was the best we had ever had! I can only imagine how much better it would be if it was fresh. We will be back as often as we can. read more

I am pretty disappointed in my lunch from servati today. I have added a photo of my mediocre looking Reuben. The sides are all extra, save for a couple little cookie bites and I just expected more. I left feeling like I overspent on low quality and low quantity meat in my sandwich. For the same price at a good deli (look up dani's deli in Columbus) you get a legit corned beef of a much better quality. So unless I want a doughnut, I think I'll pass from now on. read more

For years our family enjoyed all kinds of pastries from Servatii's in Cincinnati at Hyde Park plaza. This store, and the one at VOA, seem to have far lower quality of pastry, as well as a smaller selection of them. Our past favorite has been cherry strudel. We loved the flaky, multilayered crusts and the tasty filling. But now the crust is heavy and doughy, the filling is good, but surrounded with so much dough that it is hard to break through to the filling. No longer is hamentaschen offered, nor are the wonderful jam-filled cookies that were baked around Easter. We called both Mason and VOA stores to find a birthday cake...white cake with lemon filling. Both times were told those cakes were not available and no info was given about how to order them. We were told we should just drive in to see what was in the case. Helpers either did not know what was in the case, or didn't want to take time to look to see if other cakes we described were there. We felt as though they were unhelpful. So, while I am sure they must still have some satisfactory goods, we have been discouraged at their selection, quality, and service compared with what was available in the past. We have moved on. read more

We have been going here for years, but lately the quality has gone done. This the normal cheery woman was busy getting an order together. The other woman was a little rude. We were the only ones in there. When we got home, the bagel was extremely stale and so were the cheese crowns (stale or over baked). The glazed croissants/cronuts were ok. My husband and I go in here and get coffee and donuts and I absolutely love there cheese danish! The lady's that work in there are so sweet every time we go in there! What's up Servatii? 3 time is not a charm. The petit Fours are stale, again, crumbling and as hard as a bricks. The paper is dried on stuck, unable to peel off. Why the hit or miss? Do we not deserve fresh Petit Fours? Where is quality control. How about the lady who boxed them up for me, ya couldn't feel they were hard. When they are fresh, nothing can beat them. $1.60 ea. I bought 4. Yes, they are beautifully decorated nuggets of cardboard. Shame on you Servatti! So I go back the next day. The same petit fours. They had sold more. I ask, yesterday you agreed they were old and stale and that the had not been rotated out. So you put them back on the shelf and sell more...have you no pride... why do that to the consumer? read more

Amazing bakery! So many options, I have tried various things they all taste amazing but my absolute favorite are their cheesecakes! You can get them individually or whole and in my opinion if you can finish the whole one get it because there is a delicious icing on it! But the individuals are also amazing! Great pastries, cookies and baked goods of all kinds. My favorites are the special treats they make for various seasons such as Christmas Yule Log, Easter Egg cookies, and Mardi Gras cakes. These are so much fun and convenient for holiday dinners and parties of all kinds. Every baked good we've had from here is really delicious. Only downside is that it is a bit pricey. I stopped in to pick up dessert as well as breakfast for the next morning. I was greeted by all three associates working - WOW! They were each helpful in making sure I found exactly what I was looking for. For the desserts I decided on a tiramisu and one of the chocolate mousse desserts....and let me say that they were both amazing. My chocolate mousse was rich, creamy and whipped to perfection. The tiramisu had just the right amount of espresso flavor and was not overpowering, it was just right. For breakfast I opted for the go to classic cinnamon rolls...just warmed them up in the oven for a few minutes the next morning and holy cow, that melted icing was just like I remembered. Delicious! I would have never thought to try to get lunch here. Since I think of it as a pastry shop I guess. So I guess my review is based on what their strong suit is. It was crowded when I went in and it's a small shop but the staff that was working all seemed pretty friendly. There were 4 of them and they all acknowledged me at some point as I waited in line, ordered and checked out. Maybe I'm lucky, but my first stop in was a positive experience and I have nothing to complain about. Hopefully that wasn't a fluke. I forgot to mention their breads. What a sweet feast for the eyes...And the palette! Was looking for somewhere different for lunch and decided to stop in here. I love breakfast and this place serves breakfast sandwiches all day long. My egg, cheese and sausage croissant was made to order and came with a side of fruit, small tea cookies and one baseball sugar cookie. Score! I wanted to bring home some treats for the family so also picked up some danish, muffins and a decadent chocolate chocolate chip cake. So good. Definately would recommend this place for a quick bite to eat or a sweet treat fix. They also take large orders in advance if you are feeding a crowd. read more

I am very disappointed in this bakery. I purchased some hot cross buns. They were stale and I brought this to the attention of the staff. They were so rude. They didn't apologize , offer me my money back or even a store credit/exchange. They had a terrible attitude and didn't even acknowledge their error. They clearly don't take any pride in their food and they really need to work on their customer service. I highly suggest not going to a place where customers are not valued. read more

If I could, I would give them zero stars. Arrived there on a Saturday at 5:29 (they close at 5:30) to find the door locked even though there were customers still in the store. My son had just been injured in a basketball game and wanted his favorite dessert from their bakery. The three employees in the store completely ignored me. Two were just standing there. After completing the transaction with the remaining customer, the employee then mouthed to me we're closed. Completely rude!!! I will never go to this location again and encourage anyone who wants to promote good customer service to also avoid this location, too. read more
