Guy blamed me. Said he would put a jean cuff on them but won't look right. They came back and it's like he intentionally made them look bad. When I complained he said he didn't do the original cuff, would never do an inner cuff that high. I explained to him that I don't go anywhere else and it was him that took the measurements for the cuff. Still denied it and ended up cursing me out and calling me a liar. On top of that, when I picked up my current dry cleaning the button was ripped off my pants and some stitches were pulled. Again, took no responsibility, said that could never happen here. Guy was unreasonable, belligerent, and rude beyond belief.

The dropped off laundry is even more phenomenal! The clothes come really nicely folded and smelled so fresh. They even texted us if we wanted suavitel fabric softener on the clothes. They also text you when your clothes are ready. I believe they also do pick up and delivery. Clothes are ready the same day as well. Prices are reasonable for the service they give you. Came in recently to get another dress altered because it was a tad big on me. He told me the dress was out of style+ altering it wouldn't change that fact. He then proceeded to tell me my boobs were not full enough to make the dress fit and the color was unflattering for my skin tone so I should just get an entirely different dress instead... ??? It wasn't a complicated operation, and to make sure I wasn't dreaming that I'd been wildly overcharged, I took the dress off the hanger, removed all references to the establishment, and took it to two other places. One, a few blocks away, wanted to charge less than 20% of that total. And a place in tony Park Slope would have charged $38. To add insult to injury, the hem hits me in the most unflattering place on my calf. It's terrible. This is not the first time Astro has pegged me for a sucker. But it's going to have to be the last. My last couple interactions however were really awful. I brought a jumpsuit that I work in, picked it up when was ready and took it right to work. When I put it on I noticed previous stains from my makeup on the collar of the jumpsuit and worst of all, it smelled of sweat in the underarms. The whole reason for me dry cleaning is to make sure my clothes smell fresh as its rare that my things are stained. When I took it back I said I want it re done and I'm not going to pay for it once more since it hasnt been cleaned properly (even had pictures to prove). She wasnt very happy but said ok and gave me my other gowns. I opened right there and said no, they need to be re done, they still have a smell! The woman then proceeds to tell me, "maybe that's just your smell because the clothes have been cleaned" she then tried to charge me again for the jumpsuit saying "you wore it already". Yes I had worn it because I had no other choice but to wear a dirty one. After she re-did the cleaning I simply picked them up, still not fresh, found another dry cleaner who actually knows how to do a good job and never came back.
