I was under 18 but had been making deposits with them daily and they insisted I have a co-signer due to my lack of credit history. Instead of working with me they allowed me to close 6 accounts and take out all my money. I came to Northeast Credit Union with no accounts there, no credit history and being 17 years old and asked for a credit card which they issued me. I have been there ever since and no matter what branch I go to everyone if very friendly and I have never had a complaint about anything whatsoever. It easy to get answers and their online banking is easy to set up and use. This is as good as it gets.

They had 3 tellers behind the counter but one couple was trying to do something with their mortgage, one guy was ordering business checks & another guy was trying to do something with his house. I feel that some of these things should be done in one of their little offices & not @ the counter. I almost walked out due to the long wait but knew I would need to come back to cash my check so I stayed & waited. The teller did apologize for the wait (I didn't even comment on it) so that was nice. I did tell her I had thought about leaving. I had my Mom waiting in the car so I hated to also have her sitting there waiting for me for something I thought was going to be quick. They over charge interest rates beyond belief, saying I would have to pay 9.34 when my credit score got me 6.99 through other banks. All in all this is the Worst bank I have ever dealt with!!! I would not recommend them to even an enemy. There is nothing that could make this bank a good bank!!!
