Their representative repeatedly assured me in writing that there were "no upfront fees or deposit required" and agreed to prepare contingency language allowing me to cancel without penalty if the funding was insufficient. After months of follow-ups, delays, and waiting for management to finalize the paperwork, I was suddenly informed that the company had implemented a "new process" requiring a non-refundable $1,000 payment before they would process the application, engineering review, or other preliminary work.

Stay clear of this company - ask yourself why they keep changing their contractor's license number? well, it's because of the fraud and bad work and probably being sued - going with them 7yrs ago was the biggest mistake we ever made - nothing but problems with our system, which we found out from multiple solar companies that solar edge is just bad and then let's not forget that bad workmanship from this company - the owner is an asshole - their salesman Sal, oh he is really good, so be careful - their techs are awful - Right now, our system isn't working - we had an evaluation done on our system over a year ago to find out what is actually wrong and wow - so glad we have these photos and a report NOW - we've been waiting for this to fail AGAIN, to get a response from them and we now have it so it begins - So - inadequate wiring done, so our house can burn down - not enough invertors for the system we have - this is our 4th invertor that is not working now, they have replaced 3 and supposedly under warranty - well guess what - solar edge has no record of warranty repair / replacements parts for our house - we found out they are putting used equipment back on our house (since the first fail within 3 months starting 7years ago!) and they don't even clear it so you can see the history on that used equipment, that we now have a copy of that too - that's how stupid they are - we have photos of burnt wires where there was a fire in the box - and the last time they were here over a year and a half ago when they were fixing something, the invertor I think, who knows, they high tailed it out of here after they opened that box, the monitoring system has been down over a year, so we have had no idea our solar wasn't working until I got a 1k bill last month .. June, I had a 224-dollar bill, our bills are all over the place so I didn't think much about it because its been they way for 7yrs, one month I don't have a bill next month I have one, but a 1k bill - yep system is down - oh did I tell you that 50% of the places they put a screw on the roof I have a leak? NO one will touch the system up there to fix the roof! NOW they want to charge us to come here and fix their shitty workmanship and the system - NOT - I will never give them a dime ever, but I can't say the same about them - RUN FROM THESE PEOPLE - if they show up selling solar edge, run, solar edge sucks, just ask a dozen other solar companies they will tell you the same thing and give you the low down on underline energy concepts - these people are con artists - they use to have more bad reviews; I wonder what happened to those? hmmm - When you read the bad reviews, you see the same pattern, same complaints - and they are true !

I called several times before I could reach someone. The lady on the phone apologized and stated that the field person (Larry) was busy on a call and could not reach out. I said that was okay and asked to be rescheduled. They gave me the following Monday for 11:30. Once again no call and no one arrived. Since then I have called and left a message requesting a call back. They are not answering their phones or returning calls. This type of service is completely unprofessional.

I wanted to share my recent wonderful experience with my recent service visit with Infinity Solar…read more I purchased my system in 2024 (detailed review also done); during this time, my solar generation has been absolutely wonderful, and sized perfectly by Kay. My electric bill is essentially free over all of 2025 and this year. Some months have a $10 dollar bill, other months negative depending on how sunny each day is. I have had zero issues whatsoever and system works like clockwork. The installation over my tile roof, done through Terrazas roofing, partnered with Solar has also been top notch with zero issues with multiple major storms last year. I would say i was 110% satisfied with my decision to go solar and with Infinity solar. Fast forward to 2026. A series of recent power outages resulted in no power in my home. My initial thinking was that my system should have generated power with a fully charged battery during this outage. After calling Infinity, it was relayed that my system per contract was only set up for load shifting by design, lowering cost which I had decided on. After discussing 2 options to allow for backup power generation, i decided to proceed with the upgrade. Throughout the process, the entire team supported me exceptionally, starting with Sara who stepped in to help speak to me when the service department was not available at the time. As i did'nt understand my contract fully,, i reached out to Kay in sales, whom i did not speak to in 2 years, who really went above and beyond to explain to me in full detail how my system was set up, and options i had to upgrade. Kay treated me like family. I was so appreciative of her kind approach. She helped coordinate a technical call with Joel to fully answer all my technical questions. Once i decided i was comfortable with to proceed with the upgrade, the service team took over, with Vanessa and Brianna helping me schedule my service. Vanessa and Brianna work tremendously well together; super friendly, pleasant, professional and helpful. I requested looking into a couple options which Vanessa followed up on and accommodated without hesitation. A straight forward and exact quote was provided on Thursday. Their service and help was fantastic and greatly appreciated. Upon approving my quote on Thursday, my service was completed on the following Tuesday, much faster than I expected. Upgrade was performed by Ivan, electrician specialist. Ivan also initially setup my system in 2024. His expertise is perhaps, in my view, the finest in the industry. I felt very fortunate and appreciative knowing i hd my system in the best hands. He spent about 3 hours working on my system, explaining all the steps. Work performed was tremendous. Ivan patiently answering all my questions on some of the system parameters forgotten over the past 2 years. System was up and running and verified to work fully with a simulated power outage performed through the fuse box, and through the app. I was thrilled to now have backup power during outages. Billing and final payment was as quoted and super easy. In closing, the real mark of any business is how you are treated after the job is complete. My belief is that Infinity solar lives up to their reputation of being an exceptional 5 star company providing high expertise solar services through all phases of a project; sales, installation, commission, operational life, and post installation services. In a business of fraught with fly by night companies, Infinity Solar is a true gem. Solar done right with integrity, highest expertise, and exceptional, prompt service when called on. Sunlux came out and determined that this particular outage was caused by a failed breaker, not a…read morefailed SolarEdge inverter. Sunlux corrected the breaker problem, and our system is now back online and producing. My concerns with SolarEdge remain. This is the largest of the five solar systems we have purchased, and we have experienced multiple issues with the SolarEdge system over the years. Most importantly, we received no push notification, email, or other warning when the system went offline and stopped communicating. We discovered the problem only after receiving an approximately $800 electric bill. When I called SolarEdge directly, I was told that they could not work with me as the homeowner and that I had to go through the installer. Fortunately, Sunlux ultimately came out and resolved the current problem, but SolarEdge's monitoring should have alerted us immediately that communication or production data had stopped. Our other four systems use Enphase equipment and have been more reliable and better supported. Based on our experience, SolarEdge's quality, monitoring, and direct homeowner support have been disappointing. On any future system, reliable automatic outage and communication-loss notifications will be an absolute requirement. Sunlux's willingness to come out, diagnose the problem, and restore our system has made an otherwise frustrating experience with SolarEdge much more manageable.

Update for my review with OC - Savannah from customer service reached out regarding my experience…read moreand expressed regret over how things went and changes were actively happening at the company. She offered a free panel cleaning, which she set up internally and had their team come out this past Friday without issue. Since the cleaning the panels have been much better performing especially after these past few weeks of misting and rain, about 25% higher output. I didn't think much of it but I get now it's worth doing to get the most out of the panels. Overall a very good response and experience with OC specifically for this issue. I feel that they do want to stand out from the crowd and responding proactively to feedback gives me more confidence they'll take care of issues as they hear about them.

I'm a return customer of SunPower and know the product somewhat better than your average customer…read more I price shopped around. Synrg Solar was the cheapest. You pay for what you get. SunPower is Top Tier in performance. I've had my experience with a previous dealer than went out of business, but we won't get into those details. Synrg Solar / Sean Demarinis you are dealing with Sunpower. Synrg/Sean Demarinis is to the point and will get your Solar System spec'd out to your needs. Installation will be completed by Sunpower Employees not a sub-contractor. Throughout this process Synrg Solar / Sean will keep you updated on your progress in regards to updates on parts and city permits. We met Sean in Oct/Nov 2022. After many discussions and price comparisons, nobody came close to Synrg Solar/Sean pricing. We signed the documents and were set to go forward. Installation took 1 day for 15 panels. Sunpower crew started 7am and completed by sunset. My system is a little different than others. This is an additional solar system (2 Solar Systems) on my residence with 2 Tesla Batteries. Cash purchase which will give you the cheapest price quote. There were some little issues in regards to monitoring due to the 2 seperate solar systems, but was all rectified. You can always go directly to Sunpower by calling the 1-800 numbers, but I cannot guarantee you'll get personalized service updates of your project as I did with Synrg Solar/ Sean. I wanted this system in-place up and running before NEM 3.0 took effect and also take advantage of the Federal tax credit of 30% . I give Synrg Solar 5 stars for the service that was provided.
