I'm a return customer of SunPower and know the product somewhat better than your average customer. I price shopped around. Synrg Solar was the cheapest. You pay for what you get. SunPower is Top Tier in performance. I've had my experience with a previous dealer than went out of business, but we won't get into those details. Synrg Solar / Sean Demarinis you are dealing with Sunpower. Synrg/Sean Demarinis is to the point and will get your Solar System spec'd out to your needs. Installation will be completed by Sunpower Employees not a sub-contractor. Throughout this process Synrg Solar / Sean will keep you updated on your progress in regards to updates on parts and city permits. We met Sean in Oct/Nov 2022. After many discussions and price comparisons, nobody came close to Synrg Solar/Sean pricing. We signed the documents and were set to go forward. Installation took 1 day for 15 panels. Sunpower crew started 7am and completed by sunset. My system is a little different than others. This is an additional solar system (2 Solar Systems) on my residence with 2 Tesla Batteries. Cash purchase which will give you the cheapest price quote. There were some little issues in regards to monitoring due to the 2 seperate solar systems, but was all rectified. You can always go directly to Sunpower by calling the 1-800 numbers, but I cannot guarantee you'll get personalized service updates of your project as I did with Synrg Solar/ Sean. I wanted this system in-place up and running before NEM 3.0 took effect and also take advantage of the Federal tax credit of 30% . I give Synrg Solar 5 stars for the service that was provided. Sean is the best! My husband and I were very reluctant to get Solar and had a lot of questions. We got quotes from several companies, but Sean's pricing was by far the most competitive! Sean is awesome!! It only took us 7 weeks to PTO from signing the contract!!! We talked to several other solar companies before deciding to go with Sean at Synrg/Sunpower (who we found on EnergySage) and ultimately picked Sean because he was the most transparent and he also uses Sunpower installers (which makes a difference in regards to the warranties!). We are super glad we went with Sean - he is very responsive, easy to communicate with, helped us through the entire process and was very on top of everything, including following up for each milestone and handling any hiccups along the way super quickly. We just had our solar turned on and couldn't be happier with the experience! One of the reasons SYNRG was at the top of our list for solar companies was the efficiency and technology of the panels. I got bids from a few solar installers before deciding to go with SYNRG. This was not the lowest bid, but a couple of factors set it apart from the others I received. I liked the idea of using one company for the installation and all the equipment, and I wanted the best quality, so SunPower made sense to me. Secondly, Sean Demarinis really impressed me from the start. I felt like he gave me honest advice and did not try to upsell me on anything. At no point did I feel under pressure, unlike with some of the other companies I talked to. Since the installation, Sean also really went the extra mile in ensuring we were happy and followed up with SunPower on a couple of issues and made sure we received our SGIP incentive from SCE. Now we have the equipment installed I am very happy with the performance. The panels are performing as well as I expected and are already paying for themselves with the reduction in our SCE bills. The system looks good on the roof. We spent the extra to get the battery at the time of installation, and I am happy we did that. I had my solar system installed, up and running about 15 months ago. When I first started shopping for solar I obtained four different quotes for similarly sized solar systems. I had to compare cost, warranty and technical specifications of panels and inverters. Being an engineer by trade, my first priority was tech specs. Having that in mind, I picked SunPower Equinox A-Series panels - 16 panels, 6.5 kWp (DC). Sunpower's quote was actually the most expensive, especially coming from Sunpower Direct, but I wanted to go for quality and efficiency. Then I found Sean from SYNRG Solar and not just that his quote was better than Sunpower Direct, but it was pleasure working with him. He was always professional and honest. He suggested that I could opt for recessed panel installation for an additional cost, which I did, not just because the installation looks nicer, but because it prepares an old roof and ensures the possibility of future roof leaks would be minimal. During the process of designing and permitting my solar system, which was handled by Sunpower directly, the communications with the Sunpower's project coordinator was sometimes spotty, however, Sean was always available and on top of things and able to address my concerns and answer my questions. We are really happy with our solar system, it performs as expected and we are glad we went for it sooner rather than later. Later on we decided we wanted to add a whole house back up battery to our system. Initially I wanted to go for one Tesla Powerwall and I even placed a deposit for it, however, after a year of wait time with Tesla, I got fed up with them and called Sean from SYNRG for a quote for SunVault Energy Storage System (13 kWh) by SunPower. The SunPower team upgraded my main circuit panel from 100 amp to 200 amp on the first day of installation and installed the Hub and the ESS (the battery) on the second day of installation. Now I have pretty much my whole house backed up (except the AC) and I am ready for an eventual black-out. I can monitor everything concerning the solar and the ESS systems straight from the mySunPower app and I can even set up the battery to export energy to the grid at the most expensive time (4pm to 9pm) while preserving from 20% to up to 50% battery capacity for emergency. Since I had a great experience with installing the solar system, after I canceled the Tesla Powerwall, I went straight to Sean for the SunVault ESS without any additional quotes and I can state with confidence that I did the right thing.
