I had to attempt multiple calls , text message, even messaged through Yelp because they were not reaching out and when I finally get a response to set up an appointment we get offered a day we cannot be here so we ask for another day and we've been told they'll reach out but nothing . We been very patient , we shouldn't have to reach out multiple times with no follow ups on their part . We are very unhappy with the service since we were looking to have warranty our warranties honored.

The deciding factor was their reasonably priced door with a built-in doggie door for our two 70 lb dogs go outside to fo their thing. Other companies either didn't offer this option or quoted more than double the price. Our sales representative, Larry, was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. Scheduling and installation were quick and efficient. The installation team did a beautiful job. Apologies for the dirty windows/dog door, we've had them up a few months. After 3 months, the doors are holding up great. We will definitely be using Ameristar again when it's time to replace our windows.

Several of the windows in my home face due south. Although they were double pane, they had almost…read morezero insulation remaining after 25 years of massive sun. The temperature in the south facing bedroom on a hot 90 degree plus day would always be nine degrees hotter than the rest of the house. I decided to replace not only the four windows in the south facing bedroom, but six other windows that can be viewed in the same field of vision from the street, to keep the aesthetics consistent. The replacement windows I selected are double pane argon gas filled to help keep the heat out during the summer season. I put out a bid on Yelp and narrowed the field down to two companies, Note I did not select the least expensive bid, but actually selected the most expensive bid. My reasoning was a solid five star Yelp rating, BBB A+++ rating and the knowledge and excellent follow up provided by the salesperson, David White. Other factors in my decision were silver coating on the glass to reduce the intense green hue that most argon gas filled windows exhibit and exterior window casings that are solid without decorative ribs that would collect dirt. I was provided with a detailed explanation of the process and same day estimate. The process from start to finish took five weeks. This would have been as little as two weeks if I did not have an arch top window. Curved windows take longer to build, at least for Ameristar. It took me a while to prepare the two rooms, so I was not in a big hurry. The installation was done yesterday. The crew was on time, polite, and from my view, was extremely careful and exhibited excellent attention to detail. The 10 windows were installed in one day. The crew cleaned up their mess very well and everything went according to plan. I am completely satisfied with the entire process. The windows are very elegant looking, not so green and make the house look better. I trust that the temperature in the south facing bedroom will level out with the rest of the house with the argon gas in the windows. Five stars all the way. Well done.

Caleb, the representative, was clear, concise, and never tried to pressure me into anything. He knew I was on a tight schedule, so he kept the presentation short and to the point while still thoroughly explaining the company and its products. He explained that Hometime offers a lifetime warranty on both the windows and installation for as long as you own the home. He also brought product samples, which helped me better understand what I was purchasing. Hometime came in lower than all of the other quotes I received. The proposal was professionally prepared and included all of the information Caleb had discussed during our meeting, making it easy to review afterward. Whenever I had questions, Caleb responded within a reasonable timeframe during business hours. Scheduling was simple and straightforward. Their scheduling system sent reminders about my appointment and clearly communicated what to expect. The turnaround time from order to installation was approximately six weeks. On installation day, a crew of three arrived. They all introduced themselves and were very respectful. I joked that they would have some "watchers"--my three kids--who had plenty of questions throughout the day. The installers were professional, efficient, and took care to protect our floors and respect our home. They thoroughly cleaned up after the job was completed. We did have one hiccup during the process. One of the windows was manufactured incorrectly. However, Hometime handled the issue well and was able to get me back on the schedule as soon as I was available a couple of weeks later. Jesse and his partner came out for the replacement installation. Just like the original crew, they introduced themselves, were respectful of our home, and worked quickly and efficiently to complete the job. While manufacturing issues can happen, I appreciated how smoothly Hometime addressed the problem and followed through to make it right. The windows look fantastic. From what I can see, they were installed properly and have significantly improved the appearance of our home. Overall, I am very happy with my experience with Hometime Windows and Doors. Weeks later, I still have a damaged product and absolutely no support from the company, they actually told me they were not going to help me. A reputable business stands behind what they sell -- this one doesn't. They take your money, and when something arrives broken, they leave you to deal with it alone. I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

The company stated that the waterproofing work was completed and documented. However, after that response was posted, new leaks continued to appear, including leaks in areas that had never leaked before. Additional damage occurred to my home, including hardwood flooring and interior finishes. The company also stated that it does not reinstall unsafe components. Yet I personally documented damaged and broken pillars being reused, and multiple workers told me they had objected to reusing them. Most importantly, the company has since involved its insurance carrier regarding the conditions and damages at my property. Their insurance consultant inspected my home on March 18, 2026. If the work was completed properly and there were no issues related to the project, I find it difficult to understand why an insurance claim was necessary in the first place. Since then, I have been repeatedly told to wait for the insurance process. Months have passed, no meaningful testing has been performed to determine the source of the continuing leaks, no repair plan has been provided, no leaking doors have been repaired or replaced, and the missing railings and pillars remain uninstalled. The most frustrating part is that my home is still left looking like an unfinished construction site while the company points to an ongoing insurance review as the reason for delay. I do not believe a homeowner should be expected to live with continuing damage and an incomplete project indefinitely while waiting for an insurance determination. I genuinely hoped this matter would be resolved after meetings with the company's ownership and licensing representative. Unfortunately, despite promises that things would move forward, very little has actually happened. I will continue to update this review as events unfold so that potential customers can make an informed decision.

Super satisfied with the entire situation that this incredible company had actually offered me, they collaborate as a group and got the job done as quick as possible, while being very effective in the exact same time. Everything began when I made a call to another business and they were extremely costly. When I overhear and I had actually discussed the circumstance with the extremely kind service supervisor over here, they informed me that they would give me a much better rate that was way low than what the other company had originally provided me. I searched up online about how much it would cost to get it fixed, and they remained in the right scale. They were very impressive like I stated, we're on time and had the ability to diagnose the problem quite rapidly. They learnt the wires in my home where shorted, and it truly required to be changed. Since it could trigger a fire or my house might absolutely go black, this was extremely harmful. The team worked really hard and had the ability to get it done prior to the promised timeframe! I finally pulled the trigger and got solar, so happy. I was referred by a friend to Undeline Energy who said he got great service, so I gave them a call. After meeting with multiple companies I picked Underline, not just for the price but also because of how comfortable they made me feel. Solar companies are known for being "hard core" salespeople, not Underline Energy. They walked me through their recommendations and gave me a price, as simple as that. The price was very fair and I'm confident we are going to have more than enough solar to cover my energy needs. Once I signed with them they guided me through the process and essentially did everything from permits to dealing with SCE. The Installers were great, especially Paco who headed up the crew. Paco was polite and professional, answering my questions along the way. His crew kept things clean and organized, they were all so friendly. I want to send out a big fat thank you to Randy Lloyd and underline energy concepts for help my family out when our roof started leaking right during the holidays and we were dealing with both a hole in our roof and financial issues. But thanks to them, they Fixed our roof and at an extremely affordable rate. Not to mention how honest and respectful everyone was to us. Recently, I hired Underlining Concepts to install solar panels and replace my roof, and they did a phenomenal job! Bobby Garretson was incredibly helpful and guided my family and me through the entire process step by step. We had some initial concerns, as our electric bill was significantly higher than we liked, but we weren't in a position to cut back on our electricity usage. Bobby helped us understand how switching to solar could make us more energy-efficient, and the company also addressed our leaking roof at the same time. We're thrilled with how everything turned out! We even installed two batteries as part of the project. The only issue we encountered was the timing--since this was a big project and the company was undergoing some personnel changes, it took a bit longer than expected. SAL IS AWESOME!! i was looking into solar for about 3 months before a friend recommended Sal.I meet up with Sal and felt the honesty right away. We discussed the my solar plan and gave me options on panel manufactures and panel positioning on my roof. I wanted extra panel for future home addition, therefore decided i wanted 34 panels on one side of my roof as we get sun on that side of the house all year long. We pulled the trigger and installed shortly after in January 2018 and only took a few short days. I am very happy with service, the installation and the aesthetics of my 34 LG panel all on the backyard side of my roof. He even included a variable speed pool pump with the installation!! Bobby with Underline Energy was referred to my wife and I for our solar. He was extremely professional, very diligent in explaining about the product, the process and what we could expect. Even with us comparing to other companies, we found that we received a better product and a more competitive price then any of the other companies. The workers did an incredible job, and performed it quickly for us. They saved us nearly $900 a month from our energy bill. I found Jesse on CL and asked him for a quote along with 4 other companies that bombarded me with mailings each week. After meeting with Jesse, here is why I went with him: 1. We spent months researching solar companies and spent untold hours meeting with one sales rep after another. Each were far overpriced for what they were offering. Then we were referred to Jesse. Not only was he far better priced than his competitors, but he gave a personal touch to the entire process from start to finish. The installers were fast, efficient and very personable. They handled the process of drafting, permitting and connecting to Edison completely and with no hassles. About two years after install, we had an issue with a solar panel misbehaving. Their prices were very reasonable, they showed up and delivered as promised and were available (very promptly!) when needed for after sales service beyond the initial sale and installation. Underline Energy Concepts completed my solar installation and I am now online with SDGE. The various phases were ably handled by Dana Simoni, my Project Coordinator. She was always professional and conscientious as she coordinated my project and was very responsive to my questions. My sales representative, Jesse Malone, provided periodic oversight. I researched the solar market before choosing Underline, which was highly recommended by independent solar design companies and customers. The proposal was competitive with the average solar cost per kW in my area, and far below that of the national vendors (e.g., Costco, Home Depot, etc.). The equipment proposed was highly rated. This review is a long time coming, but haven't forgot about Underline. They were hands down the easiest company to deal with when getting our solar panels installed. The whole process was smooth and painless. Jesse was so helpful in everything we went through. He was as far from a salesman as you can get. No gimmicks, no pressure and no sales tactics. I called few solar companies for my sister her Bill's were getting higher every year and she promised they are using less.so I told her to get solar and she asked me for my helped. We had 3 companies come out and give us a quote and I got to tell you, you can tell the difference between underline energy concepts and the other two companies, I wount mention their names. They walked us thru the process and kept in touch with me and my sister every step of the way, and had the solar installed less then 23 days. And know we can see the savings. I've had intermittent electrical issues and when SCE shut off my power, my solar battery failed to kick in. I called Michael at Underline Energy to find out what happened. I was on a cruise ship in the Mediterranea at the time but Michael and James came out the next day to diagnose the problem. The issue was that the panel upgrade (done by another company) was done poorly. Michael and James were able get the power back up that day and scheduled an appointment the following week to basically rewire the main electrical panel and verify the back up battery was working as expected. Needed a service call for my older, grid-tied PV system. Called/emailed/Yelped several companies. Sal with UEC, was one of two companies who actually got back to me. My inverter was giving the "ground fault" error, and my system had been down for about a month. After some methodical and deductive multimeter testing, I had isolated the problem to one of two strings in my system, but was stuck. How long does it take to get an update? It's been 1 month since their last message and there's been nothing since. Clearly this company needs to get serious about their customer service. I'm not going to continue chasing after these guys for service. Earlier this year they received several positive reviews, then there's a drop off. Someone recently left a similar review about them earlier this month, so perhaps this company is heading down a bad path. Often times when researching companies, I prefer to start with the negative reviews then move onto the positive ones. The negative reviews at times gives more useful information than a fluffy, positive review would. You can choose to roll the dice with these guys or go with a company that's responsive and true to their words. I've gone with another company.

We were not clearly informed at the time of signing that around the 5-year mark there is a large fee/decision point, and if you don't take action to end/modify the lease at that time, you can remain locked into payments for 20+ years. That detail should have been explained plainly upfront. If you're considering this company, I strongly recommend: * Get the full contract in writing before agreeing to anything. * Ask specifically about what happens at year 5, any fees, and your options to end the lease. * Have someone independent review the agreement so you understand the long-term costs. I wish we had done that, because this has been far more expensive and stressful than we were led to expect.
