The local auto conglomerate had told us a few months back that our rear brakes were 2/32 and needed immediate replacement. While rotating our tires today, Fadely's notes that the rear brake pads (both sides, inner and outer) in fact measure 7/32. Wow! One guess what we think of that other shop (dealership) now. The cherry on top of the sundae was our bill was about $25 less than quoted. What an awesome experience we had with Brett Fadely! A few weeks before it was due for inspection, my Service Engine light came on. It was diagnosed as a problem with the Catalytic Converter. The replacement cost could have exceeded $2000. They researched the problem and discovered that my F-150 was under a Factory Recall requiring the Catalytic Converter computer program to be reprogrammed. I'm the second owner, thus I never received the recall notice. Beshore-Kohler Ford took care of it at no cost to me. This is why I have trusted Flickinger's Auto Service with our vehicles.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience needs to be shared…read more I brought my truck in to have the air filter box replaced and was charged for a "replacement" using a used part. About a month later, the same "service air filter" warning came back on. When I checked it myself, I could clearly see the exact same crack from my original air box -- meaning the part was never actually replaced. In other words, I was charged for a part and installation that never happened. The shop essentially did the same temporary fix I had already been doing myself for the past two years and billed me for it. What makes this even worse is how things were handled afterward. I called around 4pm and was told my original air box was still in the shop from the previous morning. The very next day, when my wife arrived right when they opened, we were told it had already been thrown in the dumpster -- and conveniently, the trash had already been picked up. That explanation doesn't add up at all. This was already my second bad experience with this shop, but this one crossed the line. I can't recommend them to anyone. Based on what I experienced, I would strongly suggest taking your vehicle somewhere else if you want honest work and accountability.
