I took a lower value wash because their prices are so high. So I expected to have to do the doors myself. But they didn't clean the whole dash or vacuum under the seats. They left trash behind the driver's seat. I did go ahead and pay extra to have the cargo area cleaned. I found a glob of hair in the cargo area, which really you couldn't miss. I am not usually a chain girlie, but this place offers a great car wash for both inside and outside the car. There is a location near work and one near home, which is much appreciated. The attention to detail is pretty good and there are monthly memberships available. Stop inside for a snack, drink, cute cards or a comfy seat. Went for a car wash today as it was the closest place to where I was. Now I know why I haven't been there for years! They could never get the car cleaned properly and obviously still can't. 50.00 and if you want your trunk vacuumed it's another 4.50! If you opt not to do that they don't even lift the door and clean the windows or wipe around where it closes together. They hand dried the car and saw that there was still dirt under each of the door handles and other place's and just left it. I cleaned my properly the rest of the way after arriving home. When you spend that amount of money it should be cleaned properly not half assed. And then I got asked why I haven't purchased a pass! Well here's the answer! Waterway is Back! At least at this location. Thanks to the new management team. Abraham, the General Manager is an above and beyond kind of manager/worker. And yes I say worker aswell! Not just a manager that stands and watches. I love to. And the service I got on my jeep today was like the service I got years ago when I used to love this place. My car is back to looking spotless! Inside and out! Plus not to mentions 10 cents off gas everytime I fill up! Do the math people. I fill up 5 times a month. 60 dollars a tank atleast! Now that's 6 bucks everytime I fill up and 6x5=30. Which is more than half the membership right there. So 20 bucks to wash my car any day of the month. As many times of the month is totally worth it. I ran my brand new Audi through the wash. My window panel on the front passenger side was deeply scratched. It cost me 186.00 at an Audi collision center to get this panel replaced. They do a really fast wash but unfortunately it shows in their quality. I selected "The Works" wash ($33 + $5 tip) and ask two separate employees to ensure they dry the floor mats before they out those back in, they didn't. I had to walk out to tell them and they appeared to annoyed. Then when I was getting in the car there was still mud and neither door was wiped. The manager came and wipe it out and I went on. I got in the car, the inside windshield wasn't cleaned nor was it still wiped down very well. Additionally, it appeared the mats were just rinsed and the tire shine wasn't done on the bottom of the tires. If I had the time I would have went down to the self serve car wash and done it myself and saved $30. Update February 2025. I was going to take a chance on getting a car wash there recently, and asked for an exterior wash, towel dry, and tire shine. He explained they do not towel dry unless you have a membership, I asked what kind of services I could get without a membership, and he stated they don't really do that. Waterway has lost their mind. They have switched to an automated system and want you to attach a finish damaging sticker to you car. When I chose to not do so, they cancelled my membership. I've been going here a few years with their unlimited washes. I average maybe one a week. This year they raised their prices a lot (30% or so) which made it a questionable value. Recently, they switched to "filtered water" and no longer hand dry saying it won't spot. While it doesn't spot much, it still spots, especially on things like the mirrors that don't get wind flow. So in the last year, they jacked up their prices and then mid-contract, lowered their service level quite a bit. I won't be renewing and suggest people look for other options. read more

This store.. holy moly the idiot running it is absolutely the most incredibly mindless, rude, short minded human I have ever come across in all of businesses ever! Let's talk about Brian. This is not the first time myself and 4 others have run into this guy. Myself he is always not doing the job correctly. Rude about it as well. Two of the staff members here as well said he is so demeaning to them and just plain rude. I have had 4 times the car wasent dry at all, many times the car was still covered in dirt. Prices are high, both for gas (by 30 cents or more) and car washes. A wash and vac is 16 and full service is 22. Additionally, they still use the old felt brushes which scratch the clear coat. Didn't know ANYONE still used those. People are friendly, and don't forget to tip the guys that vac, Dry and apply tire dressing. Looks like a lot of people don't tip, but those kids don't get paid much and they do rely on tipping. read more

Ever since they changed the way the car wash functions, it has NOT been great...and it WAS great! They used to spray your car as THEY took it into the car wash. No more. And they don't take it in. They are often understaffed and the price for the car wash (if you get a really good one) is not worth it. I'll be trying to find another place. I've had a membership here for a little over a year. $65 month for the "whole thing" 90% of the time the truck is "cleaner" but rarely clean inside. They just miss a lot of stuff. Door panels still dirty, dash not wiped down, etc. I've brought the truck in covered in mud and they have run it through the TOUCH car wash spinners without spraying the mud off first. Not only setting my car up for paint scratched but whoever is next in line. No matter how many times I ask them to use the switch for the power folding mirrors they just ignore it and either smash them in or tank them out, or both!!! For god sake teach the monkeys to use the power mirror switch!!!!! A "whole thing" wash is normally $38 per time and they won't vacuum out a carpeted and covered pickup bed (basically like the rear area of an enclosed SUV. Edit: The customer service here continues to disappoint. For some reason they had a perfectly good credit card charge not go through for the auto pay. Wow. What a waste of $40. The outside of the car looks great however when I went to look at the inside, and thank goodness I did, there was still dirt everywhere. I grabbed a manager and asked him to spend some more time and pointed out several things that were bothering me. I gave them approximately 10 more minutes to work on it and the manager said it was done. See the pics for what they consider clean. I would've rather cleaned it myself and saved the money! This was a treat for me as I usually wash it on my own and I was extremely disappointed. Based on the reviews from yelp it sounds like this is status quo and acceptable for management at this waterway location. I will not be returning regardless of my five day free clean. read more

I really hate to give two stars, but we've been coming here for many years and it is so hit or miss. My husband had his truck washed over the weekend and asked a couple of times to please get the windshield bugs off. Well the manager told him 6 kids called out cause of homecoming and they were short staffed. Ok....for $43 I had to clean the entire windshield when he came home. Oh and a side window too. What happened here?! This used to be a good car wash! They have jacked up prices and drastically reduced services. You pay at a kiosk and drive the car through, yourself. They don't hand dry, and the only thing they do to the interior is vacuum (very badly--there was a lot of of debris left in the corners, around the mats) and "dust" the dashboard. They prices were dramatically increased and the cleaning was not worth anywhere near what I paid for it!! I will not go back to this business!! read more

I took my car in to have it cleaned inside and out for $58.00. The kids doing the work did a poor job! I watched them from the waiting area and when they called me out to say they were done I showed the manager what they had missed so he proceeded to clean it for them. I got the most expensive package they offered. When it was done the car was absolutely not cleaned. When my wife and I got home we LITERALLY cleaned the whole car again from scratch. First time I've ever been to a car wash and left with the car dirtier than when I came. I got the Wheel works + extra 8 for the trunk clean. I watched as the two employees visited and "worked" on the car. Possibly 7 min - never touched the vacuum. I came out, asked if they did the level service I paid for, he said "I guess" and walked away. Went inside the car and looked at an untouched front seat. I watched as a group of employees stood there and visited while I tried to flag them down. One finally came over, I told him my concern and he goes, "I guess I'll try." The management, and all the staff are absolutely amazing. They treat my all of my cars and everyone else's like it's their own. They are all friendly and they work very hard to impress and satisfy all of their customers. I felt the need they should be praised for their hard work and attitudes at work. Very impressed 100%! The last few times I have been to waterway I leave extremely disappointed. They don't complete their job or take pride in their work. Every time I come to my car I have to ask them to fix something. They forget to clean the sides of doors, cup holders, and it seems like then can never get our the dog hair. It's disappointing when you go to get your car clean and you feel like the work was rushed just so they can get another car cleaned. If you are looking for just the outside of your car cleaned, I recommend them, but don't waste your time and money if you want to get the interior cleaned. read more

Their express wash doesn't do a thorough job and when workers dry off the dirty spots they are actually scratching the paint of your car. If you have a new car, I would not recommend the hand dry.
