Restoration One came to my home, assessed the water damage under my sink which was caused by a…read moredisposal that late which was put in by Benjamin Franklin plumbing. The technician came into my home assess the situation, sprayed the area reducing my harm and the harm to others. They understood my need to get more than one bid and they were patient and waited for me to do my research. Once I picked them as my company of choice they were very responsive professional, and took care of all of my needs, including. The removal of the sink, base removal of molded drywall and the killing of all the mold spores. Once the sink base was removed. they then proceeded to take the old sink base to the shop where they took the old doors off of the molded sink base and put them on a brand new mold free sink base. note the doors were not molded therefore they could be reused again. while the sink base was under repair, the technician Russell came back and put in new drywall, then proceeded to put two coats of paint on the drywall. once the sink base was repaired, Russell retrieved it from the shop. Return to my home and put the sink base back in place. and they did what they said they would do in that. They returned my cabinet and wall back to its original condition before the leak occurred. everyone that I worked with at Restoration One were very professional, upfront, honest, and they also were very clean in the construction process. during the construction process, Russell had a light that he was using to illuminate the area. I am visually impaired and have some vision, and I asked him where he got his light. This light was unique in that it was on the stand, and could be moved from one place to another. It was also extremely bright and very useful, as I require bright light to see what it is, I am doing. Russell explain to me where he got the light, and then he was such a kind person. He actually provided me with a light exactly the same as the light he used. now this is a company that goes above and beyond to make things right for the customer. this is a company I highly recommend and would use them again if the need should arise. Fantastic company and the customer service and professionalism was second to none. they have restored my faith in locally owned businesses in the Grand Junction area. if you are wanting to use Benjamin Franklin, heating and plumbing, I would go and look at the reviews which are not very good. They arrived quickly to our sewer backup. but then said they wouldn't extract the water. They…read morewould let it spread and damage more of our home instead. Then they would charge $300/day for industrial driers. But they made sure to do enough damage to the floor by starting demolition and stopping in the middle that there was no going back. We bought a shop vac and did our own extraction and completed removal of the floor. Then ServPro included the work that We Did on their invoice! They stopped work 'for asbestos' and sent us a $20,000 estimate for abatement. A month later we got a report of No Detection of asbestos. The contractors we have hired ourselves have confirmed that this company is a scam. they rush in and do enough damage to your home that you're obligated to continue with them. Just Say No.
