If I could give negative stars I would! I signed a contract with service master last year and the work hasn't been finished. The work that was done was done poorly or incorrectly. Not only that, but at one point (before the work was finished) they came to my home and demanded the insurance check saying they would not leave until they had received it. I have been trying to reach them regarding the finished work and fixing the issues but I have just been dodged. I call, leave messages and texts and I get left on read. It's horrible! I've reached out to my insurance and they suggested filing a legal claim. I think I'm just about to do that if I don't get some answers. read more

Contractor Bobby "Doru" Moise was found to be non-compliant on a recent AMCC Arbitration decision and the California State License Board(CSLB). Doru Moise was ORDERED to REMOVE a Frivolous Mechanic's Lien and PAY for damages occurred during a botched reconstruction project at our home. Contractor was fired August 2019 and Doru Moise filed a mechanics lien 6+ months after being terminated (that was not legal) and was determined "frivolous" by both CSLB and AMCC. A Plus Homes, AKA ServiceMaster A Plus Restoration has no quality control, poor workmanship, no supervision and lack of professional conduct. Contractor has a history of this illicit behavior. My original review was scrubbed by ServiceMaster A Plus Restoration to hide the reality of determined facts on the record. Additionally, under oath Doru Moise admitted in his testimony that the frivolous lien that he filed was not legal and proper. (Please refer to AMCC arbitration hearing transcripts for details) Contractor is also being sued for additional damages and mechanic's lien removal in Riverside Superior Court(Hearing set for 12/03/2020). Please do your due diligence and research on CSLB.gov regarding license 858819. License suspension is eminent (10/22/2020) with possible license revocation within 90 days. With license suspension, contractor is barred from performing ANY contracting work. I would have left 0 stars but yelp would have not allow it. When the error was on their part and they had an inaccurate address on file.. Horrible horrible!!! experience very unprofessional considering all they did was put a plastic with sand bags that didn't withhold the winds.. Bobby at Service master plus came recommended from My real estate agent and my loan officer. When the work was completed everything looked great. The communication during the process is bad. I hired Bobby but he then sent a subcontractor that was late and liked to argue about what was and was not in the bid. I asked Bobby for a rough timeline or a schedule of when repairs would happen and I never got a reply. My home insurance called and said they needed proof I got a new roof within 6 weeks of the repairs starting and I said "no problem the repairs should take 2-3 weeks."Bobby and his subcontractor Chris quoted me 2-3 weeks for everything to be done. 5 weeks later the roof was done. I asked Bobby for some documentation from the roofers about what exactly was done so i could show my home insurance. This was on a Thursday night and Bobby emailed me that he would send the info to my insurance man tomorrow Friday. I needed the documents sent no later than the following Thursday. As of Monday no documents were sent to my insurance man, I called on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, finally on Thursday the documents were sent to my insurance company showing that in fact I had received a new roof. My house closed escrow August 5, it is now October 7 and service master plus is not done cleaning up their waste as well as completing the job I was told should take 2-3 weeks. This is a classic example of Over promise under deliver. read more

My insurance company hired Service Master Restoration after a drain back up. They came in and performed abatement with subs. The sub wasn't good at all. They were supposed to cut 24" off drywall. On one wall they cut 25" because the idiots measured from the top of the carpet instead of the slab. That means you can't use a full half sheet of drywall, wasting 48% of the cost. Now it is much more expensive for me as drywallers charge by the sheet. This is not entirely Service masters fault, but they should be better babysitters with their subcontractors. Communication was pretty bad throughout the process, but it was remedied fairly quickly when communication went awry. They worked pretty quickly, but since it was an insurance gig, they just did what they were paid to do and left me with a construction site of a living room. If they were better at service, I think somebody should have been there to talk to me about putting the house back together. I also had to spend about an hour pulling up staples and nails that they left from carpet and baseboard removal and they didn't bring the proper tools for the job. I gave them a couple to borrow. They get two stars for the job they did, and lost one star for dismal attention to detail and lost the other two stars for the job they should've done. read more
