Tara and her team are miracle workers. They've been cleaning and helping us for the last 2 years and I couldn't imagine anyone else doing it for us. In fact, I tried someone else when we moved outside of Tara's typical zone and was so terribly disappointed, I ended up calling Tara that night to see if she would work with us even though we had moved a bit away! That's the thing about Tara, you're going to get used to an insanely clean and well organized house and you'll be so happy that you chose her. She's fast, efficient and kind. Recently had the spring cleaning package done to my home. It was a delight. Arrived a little bit ahead of schedule and immediately got to work. While the online tool said ~6 hrs it ended up only being around 3 (a problem with the algorithm/not being able to really put home shape in). In that 3 hrs my bathrooms are sparkling, floors are spotless, beds were made and organized, dresser top was organized, carpets vacuumed, underneath furniture was swept/vacuumed, baseboards cleaned, celing fans dusted, and even did a load of dishes in the sink. I have no idea what the other reviews that have had bad experiences are referring to or what level of perfection they want, but this service is wonderful and we will definitely be using again. read more

I hired Tara through Living Social. I am trying to get a refund for my second coupon. I waited until March for the holidays to be over before scheduling an appointment. Two days before my appointment she cancelled (I had taken a vacation day to be off work). The day of the appointment she showed up over 45 minutes late, not a word about reason or an apology. My house was picked up, beds made dishes done and just needed general stuff like vacuumed, dusted and mopped to make it smell good and sparkle. Tara came alone. The only good thing she did was the dusting in the master bedroom. Mopping is done with some spray and a swiffer, the floors are not clean at all, she didn't even move the throw rugs to sweep or mop. I swept the living room because she was so slow and I didn't think she would get done. Tara never cleaned the laundry room. My bathroom sinks still have the toothpaste and soap film on them. I am so disappointed in the cleaning. I have to clean although I paid her to. What a waste of money and my time setting there while she was there. I wouldn't call her rude but she talked on the phone (bluetooth) the majority of the time "cleaning". She spoke maybe 3 sentences to me. I would NEVER recommend her. I notice her website does not have a place to leave a review. I'm sure that is for a reason. I don't for a minute believe the 5 stars on here are real customers. Tara I am unable to respond to your comment so I will post here. You came to my home in Smyrna this past Saturday morning. I did not see a point to call and complain. After waiting 2 months for my initial cleaning, I called to confirm the day before, only to later get a voice message that they "didn't see me on their books." When I called to respond, no one answered (as usual) and I have not received a return call in 48hours...terrible customer service considering the basic level customers expect these days. Worse house cleaner ever!! Bought the Living Social. Not sure what kind of products she used but granite had a dull film over, never touched the shower. I don't think she had a toilet brush. I think she used the same rag for everything. Clump of hair behide the bathroom door. When we walk on the tile and wood floors our shoes make a sticky noise after I said specifically asked her to only use water. My voucher was for 3 hrs. I asked her to clean 4 bathrooms and 2 powder rooms, vacumm, mop the tile, and clean the BR shutters. She was done with that in 1 hour and 15 min. REALLY!!! It took me 2 hrs. to re-do the mess she made. I'm DISGUSTED!!! read more

Very disappointed by my experience with Tara Knight's services. I purchased the LivingSocial deal and one of Tara's cleaners spent over THREE hours at my house and only managed to clean three bathrooms. The bathrooms were not dirty to begin with so I am having a very hard time understanding what they spent the three hours on; they didn't even manage to wipe down the counters. Will not be using Tara Knight again or referring her to friends. read more
