To begin with in the office they did not inform me the name of the technician who was coming into my house, which I though strange, latter on I realized that there was not much communication with the office, they told me to talk with Jamal the Technician whenever was a problem, that they could not help me with the repairing process and pricing ... I was confused then about this company procedures. Anyway, I needed a dishwasher and exhaust fan repairing service. When big Jamal the technician and his helper came in Nov 18th, they needed to came 3 times before they could tell what was going on with my Viking Dishwasher and at strange times sometimes : dinner time 8:30 pm! And he was even doing jokes about what was for dinner for him...Then they told that they had to take the Viking dishwasher to their repairing center in order to fix it! Then after three weeks I called them to see when they were going to be done with the fixing....and then they told me that they could not fix the dishwasher yet that they were working on it, then after 3 more weeks I called them again and they told me that they could not fix it bcs they didn't find the pieces, that they had an offer for me to buy a dishwasher from them!!! ( Could they tell me this before? ) I told them NO ( of course I wanted to buy a dishwasher from a reliable source) and then it took 4 months more for them to deliver my broken dishwasher back, I don't know how many texts and calls I made in between and how many times I was waiting for him to come home and then he cancelled last minute. But of course I had to pay a 200$ delivery fee! For the Exhaust fan he repaired but I paid 1360$ and when he came after six months to deliver the dishwasher he told me that for the reparation of it he had to use more parts that were not included on this price and he will send me an email to let me know how much more Inhad to pay WHAT A BUNCH OF THIEVES! ( they could not tell the price when they got it repaired 5 months ago?) Give me a break ! So this is my nightmarish experience with this appliance repairing service company, please avoid it if you don't want to lose your precious time and money! I called this company as it was the first number on google it was 4 days before Christmas and my dishwasher didn't drain. Over the phone the man told me that he would need a Credit card to "Hold my apppointment" that the 55$ fee would go towards the service~ if anything needed to be done. The following Friday the serviceman shows up~ he walked over to the dishwasher and took a peek in. Within two minutes he said "oh this was simple your computer just had to be reset." I said "How do you reset it?" He said "by depressing these two buttons". "Thats it?" "yes thats it" he says. I got sidetracked with a guest in my house while I was waiting for him to gather his "tools up. 5/10/15 minutes goes by I finally come back to him and it was clear he was somewhat "stalling" this call out, because I'm certain he started to realize that he was going to have a hard time justifying the bill he was fixing to hand me. He hands me the invoice and says, "$205 please." It's a dishwasher that is probably worth about $300 at this point. I said "are you serious? You told me it was two buttons you had to push, what are you talking about $205? He argued his point (unjustifiably) and finally I simply handed him $60 cash, (in addition to the $50 they took from my credit card) and told him take it or leave it but that is all you are getting from me. Never ever call them ever. This company miss-represented itself on Angie's List, which is where I found it under a different name. I think it's actually a call service for techs who actually are independent operators so don't take any responsibility for work done and tech's are basically accountable to no one. At any rate, based on the listing on Angie's List I called a specific number for a Sub Zero fridge door/hinge repair on Dec 23rd and was given another phone number to use in the future. A tech arrived on Dec 24th, talked to the tenants and said parts needed to be ordered. Since it was Christmas Eve I was unable to be present. After Christmas I called the new 888 number I was given and was told I needed to talked to customer service. Customer service would tell me they would have to call the tech for an update. No one would call me back so I would call again and again. This was during the holidays so this dragged into the new year with no one calling me back even when I would complain and say no one is ever calling me. I finally got in touch with a specific person at the company who said there was a misunderstanding between the tech and the tenants with the tech thinking he was being turned away so he never ordered the parts. Okay fine. Parts were ordered right away and were expected to arrive in 3-5 days. The tech then proceeded to find every excuse in the book to delay the appointment - things like my job is running long today I need to reschedule for x. Eventually the tech is able to actually make the appointment but it's at a time when I'm not able to attend - only the tenant is present. She tells me the tech was a nice guy and everything appears to be fixed. I pay the company. A week later the tenant contacts me to tell me a bolt has fallen out of the door and it's jacked again. I immediately call my contact again who gets the tech involved and he says parts need to be ordered again. It's obvious to me the issues are related and has something to do with the work the tech has done. They tell me I won't have to pay any additional fee but he'll need to come back out after the parts come in (3-5 days). Again, the tech delays, delays, delays. Things like it's a 2 man job so I have to arrange for another tech to come with me. The tenants go out of town for a week and the tech finally comes on a Thursday. (He doesn't bring another tech by the way.) He says basically "shucks, a part that was supposed to come in the box of parts didn't and therefore I can't finish repairing the door. I'll have to have the piece sent to me next day so I can finish the repair on Saturday or Monday." I tell him I want it done on Saturday so it won't impact the tenants. He leaves his parts at the property since he's going to be right back. On Friday night he sends me a text saying it will have to be on Tuesday. On Saturday I call customer service to complain. They call the tech and the tech says the part will be in on Wednesday. I tell them all I'm over it. I want my money back. I'm tired of the hassle. Basically I talk to everyone again on Monday and they SWEAR it will be fixed on Wednesday. I tell them fine- I will no longer accept any excuses - if it's not fixed on Wednesday I want my money back. Last chance. Of course he tries to reschedule. Tech says I just need my parts back and I'll give you your money back. He still hasn't picked up his parts and I still don't have my money back. I call another repair company. They ACTUALLY repair the fridge and tell me there's no way the tech replaced the hinge the first time around because the part they pulled out was very obviously not new. This place is a total bait and switch. Never ever call them ever. And Jamal is easily the worst tech I have every had to deal with. read more

I have used this company to repair my refrigerator and oven. Technician arrived on time. Repaired my appliance same day. Two months later my appliances are still working great! Got a great price getting both repaired. New appliance would be way expensive!!! Will be trying them again for sure!! would recommend them too!! read more

Hopefully if you are reading this, you have not yet called this company. I called them because I needed a Sub Zero repairman and this appeared to be the closest repair company based on my google search. Like other customers, I had to pay $55 up front for a service call. Our ice maker and a light in the freezer were not working. The service technician came and turned the freezer off for a few minutes. When he turned it back on and both the ice maker and light were still not working, he decided I needed a new control panel. I was then asked to pay $770 for the control panel, shipping of the control panel and labor. A few days later he came and supposedly installed the control panel. I felt uncomfortable with this visit. He needed to borrow a hand held vacuum which I thought was odd. Luckily I happened to have one. He also came with very little equipment. He said he added freon to my refrigerator and freezer yet I never saw a freon tank. He charged my credit card $250 for Freon yet did not give me an invoice. Before he left, the light that was out was back on but the ice maker never did start working. The light went out an hour later. This was when I decided to look on yelp. I saw that the name of his company did not match the name of the company I called from my google search. The company I googled must subcontract out the incoming calls. After reviewing the comments here on yelp, I decided that I did not want this serviceman back in my house. I ended up calling the Sub Zero manufacturer directly who put me in touch with a qualified service technician who I later found out has been servicing our freezer and refrigerator for over 10 years (we are new to the home). This company came out, did a couple resets on my freezer and all was working again. They also checked the control panel and let me know that a new one was never installed. I also found out that all parts are covered under warranty and a control panel would have been covered, if needed. They let me know that new control panels are rarely needed. As far as the freon, they do not charge for freon because it is only a bandaid fix if you add it. It doesn't address the existing leak that must be present. So bottom line, Service Solutions 4 u (technician's name was Jamal) charged me $1065 in total and repaired nothing. I am trying to collect from them. We will see if anything comes of it but I wanted to make sure my experience was included with the others here in hopes that it helps someone else. read more
