This place is the most unprofessional business Ive ever encountered in the Sequim area. Prices quoted very sketchy and answers to questions all over the place. After setting up a firm date to get work started they called saying they had limited crew and were late because they had to stop for gas? Really???? One nice young lady showed up and later another young man. Called to confirm work to be done and all of a sudden they wanted yo charge me more. Cancelled project and sent them home. Very unprofessional. They blocked the driveways of three of my neighbors. They were loud and were even walking in my neighbor's flowers while standing around talking loudly and laughing with each other. No concern for for other people's property. One guy even threw his cigarette butts in my neighbor's yard. read more

A pipe burst in my mother's mobile home. The crew neglected to turn off the circuit for the water heater when they were cleaning up the water, and the water heater blew out and had to be entirely replaced. All the water that went down the floor vent was ignored. We had to pay a contractor to pump out 300 gallons of water and restore heat to the house. These were extremely obvious issues to trained technicians; clearly something in short supply at this company. DONT USE THEM!!!! read more

We had an odor problem that we could not figure out what it was or where it was coming from. We had brought in a plumber, pest control, and a general contractor to see if they could help us. Nobody could figure it out. When Quinn from Servpro showed up, it took him maybe 15 minutes to find the cause of the odor and to fix it. What a lifesaver! We were actually considering moving because of how bad it was, but Quinn saved the day. Thank you. read more

I had a horrible experience with this franchise. We had a sewage pipe come loose under our manufactured home. We had a plumber come out, and he said he could see the break, but couldn't fix it because there was raw sewage on the ground. So, he cleaned a plug further down the line, and ensured that no more spillage could occur. We took photos of the current level of spillage. We called Servpro, and they dispatched a technician to do an estimate. Servpro charges you a $350 fee, just to do an estimate, but applies that fee to the repair if you engage them to do the cleanup. The technician called later that day, and gave us an estimate of $1800. Ouch, but okay, we are talking raw sewage. We engaged them, and they made an appointment to come out a week later for the cleanup. Again, ouch, we didn't want to wait a week, but we were already $350 into Servpro, so we'd go forward. When they came out a week later, they showed up 4 hours early, and I was pretty groggy, because I awoke to them knocking on the door. This was a different technician, and he immediately asked for half the residual fee up front. When I came back from getting that, he said "well, unfortunately, we don't have the equipment with us, and the situation is much worse now than it was when the estimate was made, so it's going to cost substantially more." I went to the access I had dug out, and the moisture levels were substantially lower from drying out for a week. The situation was not worse, it was less, and I felt like they were trying to gouge me. While my wife called the owner of the franchise, I called their corporate offices to complain. The owner of the local franchise called me back later, and insisted that the spill was significantly worse than when the estimate was done. I assured him that the affected bathroom was locked, water turned off, and had remained unused. I told him I felt like I was experiencing a bait and switch situation. At this point, he said he did not feel comfortable doing business with me, but would refund my estimate fee. I don't know if that was because I had called their corporate offices, or accused him of bait and switch. At this point, I was so disgusted, I went to home depot, bought a biohazard suit ($18), 6 bags of garden lime ($40), gloves ($6), respirator ($15) and replacement vapor barrier ($104). I purchased a used wet/dry vacuum from a recycled construction materials place for $20. I'm 55 years old, and more than a hundred pounds overweight, but I pulled on my big boy pants, along with my protective gear, and cleaned it up myself. Took me about 4 hours, and I didn't even have the professional "proper gear". In my opinion, these guys make a big money racket out of doing something, that while unpleasant, doesn't require an awful lot of training or hard work. Look for someone other than servpro, they treated us like crap. read more
