Billing !!! they will attempt to bill your insurance and if the insurance denies them they will go after you. Without even provide a billing of what they actually did. Now they say they are waiting on a cabinet but I am confident nothing is happening. I used servepro at the recommendation of an amazing plumber as I was told servepro handles everything beginning to end and it would be less stress. Well it's been more stress than ever and here I am with a torn apart space one week before having 14 people stay at my house. I haven't been able to work efficiently as I walk through this space daily to get to my work supplies and my kids can't use their play-space as it's next to all of this torn up stuff. My plumber recommended I call ServiceMaster by Zaba to clean up the damage. The process was more complex than I thought, the burst pipe was on the second floor bathroom, there was damage on the second floor but the first floor and basement suffered more damage. Interesting thing about water is that it travelers in the weirdest direction and can cause extensive damage. Needless to say once ServiceMaster came out they did an inspection, spoke with my insurance company and began their work. I have a small child at home, my husband and I both work from home on occasion so this was on overwhelming situation. ServiceMaster did a great job, they were fast, efficient, and professional. There was a lot of damage in my home so I had to be placed in a hotel for a few weeks. They completed their services quickly, they also packed our belongings and took them to the hotel for us. They are going to be starting the reconstruction of our home this week. So far I am impressed and satisfied with their work. ServiceMaster by Zaba is a great company, I would recommend them to friends and family. My bathroom floor was being replaced and once the toilet and tiles were removed, it was discovered…read morethere was damage to the subfloor due to an undetected toilet water leak. Maurice from ProTech Restoration came out to assess the damage and to determine if I needed mold remediation services. His assessment was that I should just have the damaged part of the subfloor removed around the toilet. If there was evidence of mold on the underside of the subfloor, or on the joists, to contact him for a re-assessment. Maurice even suggested that I send him a few pictures after the subfloor was removed for him to review. It was determined that all I needed was a partial replacement of the subfloor. I appreciated Maurice's honest professional opinion. He could have easily suggested services that I did not actually need. I hope I never have a need for mold remediation services, but if I do, or if I know anyone who needs this service, I know I will recommend ProTech for an assessment.
