If you are looking for a company that will respect you or your belongings, please keep looking. I had a fire on the 3rd of July, 2020 in our small 1000 sq ft home (VERY important part to note). I hired Servpro on the 4th, and no matter how much I called, the pack out did not begin until the 14th?! The lady began to pack items that looked dry and was going to even pack all the furniture. She was kind, but uninformed by her manager. No one told her the fire was almost 2 weeks before and it was hot out. They sent a lady with experience and a teen with ZERO experience to pack out everything. So many items lost due to their lack of speed. They overlooked the basement where everything molded played it as a "clean in place". It was not cleaned; it all had to be thrown away by us. When "demo" began with the dumpsters, the guys were smoking on the porch, taking break after 10 mins back from lunch and not even employees of Servpro. We had different guys and they were day laborers. No matter their work ethic was so on point. It was embarrassing. They left trash around the window sills and even in the yard. Who doesn't clean up? Their slowness to react ruined a $5000 commercial grade freezer in the basement. It could have been saved if they had got in and didn't let everything spoil. Have I mentioned that it took weeks for them to remove the fridge from the kitchen. It smelled so bad we had to hold our breath to enter. They put it in the middle of the living room floor leaking?!!! The smell was so bad. There is so much more, but this is just the surface of their terrible service. When you have a fire, there is a lot going on, they will not make it easy for you at the beginning, and especially not at the end. They have received almost $40,000 from the insurance company and now they want almost $13,000 more! No call, just a lawyer letter today. This, of course, after the thank you card with a $5 Dunkin' Donuts card?! Just a word of caution to think hard and try your best to get several references if you can help it. Beware of Servpro; no price, no quote, no budget, no communication, no heart, no work ethic, and not customer centric. Hire anyone but Servpro. It may be best to have someone on speed dial; really. :) read more

These guys were perfect. My landlady was being stupis, as usual. But these guys were polite andprofessional. They got the job done in the mount of time that they said they would, 2 rooms with stubborn stains. They were very professional and friendly. absolute worst services I've ever had at my home. they over price everything, took days to reply to my phone calls or emails, demolished more than quoted without any form of communication about it happening or why it needed to happen and then left my wall gutted with no intent to replace the insulation or drywall (despite the exclusive request at time of inquiry for RECONSTRUCTION) during the fall in Maine when the night temperatures were dropping to the 50s with exposed studs and children and pets in the home. i would never recommend they do anything in your home. take your money elsewhere and save yourself the trouble. read more

A burst pipe on our third floor ruined all our drywall and hardwood flooring on the floors below. ServePro came in, removed everything down to the studs and subfloor and even dusted the non-damaged rooms. When the contractor came in, they were impressed by the job they did. read more

I was just at Friendly's liquor store here in Westbrook, Maine, returning some bottles and cans so I could get my single breakfast beer. As I was waiting in line I had a quick and humorous conversation with the guy next to me, who was an employee of Servpro, nice guy. I was next, I handed my slips to the cashier and pulled what change I had out of my pocket and told the cashier it was gonna be close. I was 20 cents short and I was sad. Then, this young GENTLMAN came up next to me and laid a dollar bill on the counter. Wow. To him a dollar was nothing but to me it restored my faith in humanity and made my day, and all it took was one dollar. When I got home I called Servpro and told Heather what'd happened, I described the guy and she said she thought she knew whom I was speaking of and she was very appreciative for the call. I told her that those are the kind of people they had working for them. As I write this I'm a bit misty eyed, that was so nice of him. I hope he hears the phone call or reads this review because I want to publicly say that you're an awesome dude and you made a memory for me. Thank you, and all it took was one dollar. Servpro is the best. We returned home from a trip to find water leaking from the second floor, running down and inside the walls, from the ceilings, and standing on the hardwood floors. Jared Lamey and his crew were responsive, understanding, and professional from start to finish. From the drying out process right through the reconstruction process, they worked together and with us to accommodate our needs and schedule, and made working around a family with four young kids as painless as possible. Our final product was just like they say..."like it never happened." Which is no small feat, given our house is a 1932 Cape Cod with plaster walls and custom trim. Their office staff is great to work with and the crew is reliable and very professional. I would highly recommend Servpro! read more
