Do not do business with this thief. We had part of our roof blown off in a storm in Sept of 24…read more Water leaked into interior walls from top floor and went into ceiling and walls of main floor. We needed a new roof, drywall repair and floor repairs; two bathrooms needed repair as well. Insurance was involved- this turned out to be the bait. We engaged Kevin Ayescue and CRS, who promised to start in a month and be done in 3; they advised us to find a 3 month rental. It started 2 months later than scheduled. Roof replacement went well despite late start. Slow but progress was made and CRS hired movers to move, clean and store our contents out of the house on April 1 to commence interior repair. We never did get a contract from him for the complete job even though we asked repeatedly. Work was intermittent, generally 1-3 weeks of work getting done then no one would show up the next Monday. Work then stopped entirely in July with drywall, paint and trim still needing to be installed even though we had paid for that. Thank heavens we hadn't paid for the bathroom installation yet. Kevin didn't respond to calls or emails for weeks then came back with a new project manager each time he showed up. In July we realized he had been using different subs, paying them to show up to work but never paid them again so they didn't come back. By the end of August, with no progress since July, we hired other contractors to finish the job. We asked to have our contents returned, which included all our living room, dining room, office and 3 bedrooms. All of which we had paid up front over $25k to have cleaned. When we finalized the repairs with different builders, we asked for the contents to be returned. He required additional payment to return our contents, which we agreed to pay just to be done with this nightmare. Finally the first load came in early December and it was clear nothing had been cleaned; in fact contents were dirty and damaged. Turns out the movers he hired was a shell company in his name and he used his own guys who are not professional movers; nothing was properly padded or packed let alone cleaned. When we pointed out that that we had paid for the cleaning and that it wasn't done and that cost was more than the remaining fees, he didn't address that and started threatening lawsuits, demanding more money and holding our contents hostage. When we refused to pay more, noting again the scheduled of payments made and what they were paying for, he cut off communication, saying "thanks for the contents." We had the receipts so we were confident of our position but didn't want the hassle. We had negotiated for 2 months to get our contents returned and his demands kept getting crazier so we walked away from it. He stole our dining room furniture that included antiques, our couch, 3 bedrooms worth of furniture, office contents, and even my mother's china. We finally looked up reviews and have found there are multiple legal actions against him and his companies and his license has been withdrawn. Do not do any business with this thief.
