The store manager bent over backwards and went the extra mile to make sure our engagement session went perfectly. I went back to the store several times to pick out dresses for the engagement session and the wedding day. They were very helpful and patient. I am very satisfy with photo memory, from the time I step into their store to when we finished our transaction. They were very accommodating to my needs. We needed the pictures by a certain date and they said they will do what it takes to get it to us by the deadline. Not only were they professional with their work they were also very friendly during the photo shoot so we let our guards down and taking the pictures were not as nerve racking. BEST DECISION I made on wedding vendors! I hired Memory Photo Gallery to do my hair and makeup after booking photography and videography with another vendor. For anyone who doesn't want to deal with too many vendors, MPG is a place you can trust. Maggie and June showed up to my parents' place at 4am! Yes, and my parents live in Oakland! They started working on my mom, two bridesmaids right away. My makeup and hair was done just in time. Maggie also stayed a bit after changing hair and makeup to help me with my wedding dress among giving minor advice on a few other things. She was really patient with my mother, who made really silly requests since she has not put on makeup in years! We took our wedding photos here. My colleague referred us here and this was the first place we went and we were hooked! The photos are beautifully taken even without further editing. Staff are super friendly and fun to work with. They have a lot of beautiful dresses and they gave great recommendations on the dresses that suit you. Our photographer (Shang Kai) is very professional and dedicated. He took way more photos that the package described and they are so gorgeous that we had a hard time selecting the photos for detailed edits for photo album. We have multiple dresses and our make up artist(Chloe) came up with different hairstyles and make up beautifully fit to the scene. Additionally, they have a variety of photo products ranging from wallet picture to super large canvas hanging photos. When you refer your friends and family to their service, they will send you thank you gifts (more photo for edits or some additional photo products). We went to City Hall and pigeon point lightning house, we spent an hour and half in City Hall and spent half hour just in front of the entrance gate and the plaza outside City Hall. Disappointment and frustration doesn't even begin to describe how horrible of an experience this wedding ordeal has been. In the beginning everything was moving along nicely. I took awhile to decide but moved forward with my intended wedding date, I had a make up and hair trial that was decent at best and was charged $120- my mother and I sat down and negotiated with Maggie on the details of my wedding day, everything was verbally agreed upon and we were set to put a deposit down at the end of this month. I received a call two days ago out or the blue from Maggie apologizing and mumbling and she said someone else had taken my date. She kept apologizing but it sounded like straight bullshit , she explained that she had been out for wedding make up when some one came into their business and booked the same wedding date as I, and that there was nothing they could do. The most frustrating aspect of all this is that my wedding is 6 months away and this occurs. I was promised service for my wedding day and it was taken without any warning, I was more surprised as to why no note about my intended date was placed on their calendar. That in itself was disrespectful, if I obviously showed interest in working with their business atleast my name and wedding date could of been marked down as an interested party. Most vendors and businesses I've encountered atleast have a grace period or warning when another party is interested in the same date, the first holder is given an opportunity to either commit or let go of the event date. That did not happen. The lack of professionalism and common courtesy really disgusts me as it really shows how money has the greater value over reputation. I will not recommend any of my friends or family to this place unless you wish to be thrown on an emotional roller coaster . If I could I would give this 0 stars. Be warned brides to be. read more

Great services received for our SF city hall wedding registration & ceremony. Contacted 1 month before our wedding day and received responses instantly. Met with the business owner a few days later and got details explained and contract signed. The service covers photography, makeup, photo editing, wedding dress, and a photo album. We reserved our wedding dress 2 days before the wedding in the store. The makeup artist did a fantastic job on the day of our wedding: she had everything ready before our arrival at 7 am, and the result was beyond our expectations. The photographer not only makes every effort he could to make the best shots (considering the difficulty: many people nearby, full of noises and our nervousness) but also provided a rich amount of info to save our registration/check-in time. He is professional, friendly and dedicated. We will update the review once we received our photos and album. So far a great experience. Highly recommended. read more
