I had contacted Emily through Instagram, because I was having a " boudoir photoshoot," and the company I had chose, highly suggested having makeup done by a professional. I didn't know anyone, so I started at Ulta Beauty, but because of Covid, there services were still not open. :( I was really excited when she told me her company was open for business. Emily saved the day on my wedding! I was fully in panic mode when the HMU artist I had hired for my wedding disappeared to Greece and stopped responding to my messages. I found Set & Fury through a recommendation from my florist. As it turns out, they were a God send. I immediately fell in love with their work. I'd previously booked with another HMUA, but started seeing red flags when I noticed they never shared unedited images or videos of their work. Being a wedding photographer, I know the amount of work that goes into photographically fixing bad makeup. I had a consultation with Emily, the owner of S&F and we instantly clicked. She was such a joy to chat with and listened to my needs. Though she wasn't available to work with me on my wedding day, she did send Rae, a queen makeup artist, and Carly, a hair goddess, to complete my wedding day look. They both worked so well together and my ensemble came out better than I could have ever imagined. All 3 ladies listened to my desires and insecurity's and worked with me to create the look I wanted while also taking into consideration what would look best with my skin and hair type. Rae even completely covered up a tattoo that I have been going through laser removal on. If I could fly back to Las Vegas to get married again, I'd book Set & Fury all over again! What can I say?! Emily's talent as a makeup artist is far beyond what I expected since the day I met her! She's such a professional and so sweet! Super patient and really listens to what you want to achieve in the look your after. If you have any concerns, she addresses them before she gets started. For example, I'm a bikini bodybuilder who has to get an incredibly dark over-dramatic tan for not just stage presence but to show off our muscular physique and it seems to be a nightmare to get face makeup to blend well with that tan.
