    Sooo much unexpected fun!!

Stopped in during travels through the area. Looked for a place to picnic our lunch and found this amazing family vineyard. Fun mimosa, entertaining flight pairings. With gourmet popcorn!! Definitely recommend!

Offering a very relaxed environment, on a lovely property, with very good wines and great service. Family-friendly, with plenty of space to find your niche and settle in for a while. Currently, they offer 6 pre-arranged tastings of 4 wines, including flights built around their crisp whites, their reds, their Burgundy grapes, their Bordeaux grapes, their sweet offerings, and with chocolate pairings. You can also built your own flight of 4 wines for a few dollars more. The standouts for me were the Pinot Noirs - I'd advise trying glasses from both vineyards if you can, as they're quite unique from one another. We also really enjoyed their Riesling and Pinot Gris - nice and crisp, just enough bite to tantalize the tongue without overpowering your taste buds. In all, Setter offers more than 20 wines that can fit most guests tastes. The bottles all provide very solid value for their price points and are worth bringing home. I like the versatility of their wine lineup - you can find some great choices ranging from sparkling wines you'd enjoy during a cocktail hour, to white and red offerings that pair nicely with seafood and red meats respectively. If you're looking for something a little different, they serve Sangria, as well as Mimosas on Sunday - these choices are also delicious.

A scrumptious pumpkin roll was offered to go with a beautiful Fall weekend.

Setter Ridge has one of the nicest views at a winery in the Berks and Lehigh counties. They always have some interesting snacks available and the tasting room servers are upbeat and knowledgeable providing for an engaging experience. We enjoy their whites. One suggestion is that food trucks should be positioned so that their generator is away from the building. It can distract from enjoying a beautiful open space along with the ability to hear the music from local bands. Overall a great place and will certainly be back frequently

061718 As the Designated Driver, I can only report by observation, eavesdropping and credit card receipts. The winery was very beautiful, very festive and romantic. My wife thoroughly enjoyed.... something in a yellowish bottle. Live music was sung by a trio. And the lady of the trio was very beautiful. Anyway, the lady at the wine tasting was very knowledgeable, engaging and nice to talk too. There was a funny dog named Guinness making rounds doing meet & greets. Not sure if he's on staff. But he did appear to be a regular there. Fun place, fun times. We'll be back

Saturday July 8, 2017 ... 6 of our Bad Moms Club (lol) attended the Cupcake & Wine Pairing for $12.50 ... 3 but size cupcakes were amazing paired with 3 wines ... then switch from 2 wines for a 4th tasting. I think it is a touch over priced, as I believe maybe 1 once or less was provided for each wine. As expected from their website, they truly do specialize in Dry Wines ... their semi dry was still very dry. If you love dry wines - you will love their selection. I personally like semi dry ... very much in the middle of the two extremes. I did buy 2 bottles, however I will need to pair them with a meal when I have friends over. I believe they are a high quality vineyard. The staff was great ... we were running right up to tasting time, I called to let them know and they were very accommodating. We then followed up with a tasting for $5 ... they have a large selection of very dry wines. We packed a beautiful picnic lunch to enjoy with our purchased wine ... the view is beautiful and clean. Minus the dog poop from the very friendly black lab. The pavilion space with the high tables was perfect for our Bad Moms afternoon. Semi Dry & Sweet wine lovers ... this might not have the best selection for you (as not perfect for me) however, trying something new or Dry Wine lovers - you will not be di

stopped in here in the way to the yuengling factory. Really glad I did because the Wine was excellent. tried 6 different wines and each one was better than the one before. My personal favorites 2010 pinot gris reserve along with 2008 Reserve. the hostess(forget her name :/ ) was very kind and welcoming being that we were the first customers and all. she also invited us back with our son and beagles lol... Don't know of any other winery's that welcome kids and dogs... Pretty Sweet. gonna stop back in the spring.

Unfortunately, our experience with Maple Springs Vineyard has been deeply disappointing. Back in 2024, we fulfilled a product order for them in good faith, but to date, we have not received any payment. Despite numerous attempts on our end to arrange a payment plan or resolve the matter directly, we've been met with silence. It's been over three years -- and at this point, it feels like we've been taken advantage of. We're still hopeful this can be resolved. To anyone at Maple Springs Vineyard: please reach out to us directly to make this right. We'd prefer to settle this fairly and professionally, as we believe most small businesses would. With spice from wood aging and inspiring acidity, the wines are immediately attractive and our favorite.

While unsuspecting from Germantown Pike, this winery/vineyard has an expansive space for events and regular traffic. There is an inviting porch area that overlooks the vines and on the weekends there is live music. There is also an indoor space to hide from the elements or just lay low which is what we had opted for. Everyone we encountered who worked here was so welcoming and pleasant. Both of us got a wine flight making sure to try an assortment of drys, reds, whites, and sweet wines. While I generally lean into sweeter wines, every glass we tasted was enjoyable! We also gave the bubbly flight a try which was also delicious. They do have a full kitchen and we heard raves about the flatbreads and appetizers from the next table over. They even have a calendar of events including workshops, musicians, etc. to stop in and enjoy. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.

Not yet on…read moreYelp to find the winery, we followed the signs, and arrived at a gorgeous stone mansion, with a side barn wine tasting room. Ample parking, there is a short walk to the tasting room, where you can see the construction among the vineyard, as they expand their location. Despite the construction-there is a nice patio area, attached to a simple-yet pretty-tasting bar. We learned the pourers are wine consultants from Mendoza, Argentina, brought over by the winery owner to help develop a variety of wines. It really is a gem. I'm so happy the consultants were ok giving up their summers at home to develop quality wine in the middle of nowhere PA. $5 for 6 wines, we selected from 7 whites, 3 sweets, 7 reds. We shared: Albarino: 'tart' needed to be chilled more Cab Franc: pepper on the finish, lighter on the in-take Chambourcin: sweeter than normal Merlot: bold for a merlot Petit Verdot: too light Flagship Red: pepper from the Cab Franc, bold from the Merlot, a twist probably from the Malbec, but light tannin finish from the Petit Verdot From talking through the wines, we learned the Chardonnay was the favorite of our pourer, so he let us add it on-glad we did, we went home with a bottle: smooth, buttery, with a slight oak twinge. Great place to sit out and have a quality glass of wine, though probably better to just take home the bottle due to the construction views, but definitely worth supporting the winery either way! The owner really owes it to his consulting staff, they make the winery the wonderful experience that it is.
