There's a few businesses attached to this location - including a Starbucks and a restaurant. So, finding parking can be a little rough. Ooooook why hasn't anyone told me to start laser immediately? Jk! I know why. As a deeper toned chica the concern was always injury or if the lasers would actually be effective.10/10 service and I highly recommend it! SEV has YAG lasers for folks like me and the results were so impressive I want to scream it from the rooftop. I got the Brazilian service and just after one session I am amazed by how well it works. There was virtually no new hair growth (except for a couple patchy areas). I expected that though, since you have to get a few sessions due to our hair growth cycles. The service provider Ellona was knowledgeable about the process and the aftercare. They do a deep dive in what to do prior to your appointment and what to do after (each of those steps includes no sun exposure for 2 weeks). They also have you fill out a few forms that prep you for the services. Some of those questions include whether your skin experiences hyperpigmentation, if you are on medications, pregnant or breastfeeding. I say this to say they are very thorough so for the best results, be as honest as possible. I am writing this review after my second session and I had a very similar experience with Apryl. The appointment is about 10 min, and she was just as knowledgeable as the first provider, making sure I hadn't had any sun exposure of if anything had changed since my last appointment. The pain level was very mild. It was so much less painful than waxing and I have a low tolerance for pain. I did notice that the pain was significantly less this time around than at my first appointment. I want to do my underarms next! read more

had a very disappointing experience at Sev Glendale. Before booking, I clearly listed all the skincare ingredients I use and even called ahead to confirm everything would be okay. I was told there wouldn't be any issue. I also included the same ingredient list on my intake form. However, it appears no one reviewed it until the time of my appointment. After driving 1.5 hours to get there, I was told upon arrival that I needed to reschedule. It's incredibly frustrating to take time out of your day, drive that far, be transparent in advance, and still be turned away because the information wasn't reviewed ahead of time. I've had partial face laser hair removal done here and the nurse failed to warn me of the new thick hair you can grow if you laser areas where there is no hair growth. I only had a few hairs on the chin area which I obviously mentioned, yet she went over my entire face and neck area. The treatments have been perfect and I've been seeing results, the nurses are always great and kind. I had been going to the Calabasas location for most of my sessions and just recently came to Glendale just because it was closer and my issue with my recent appointment was the fact that at this location the parking lot is behind the entrance and there was a man watching me come into my appointment which made me feel uncomfortable walking back to my car after my appointment ended. During my treatment i asked the nurse if there was a back door I could go through to get to my car, she said yes of course and was super nice and said to ask the front desk attendant to open it for me. After i check out i noticed the man still staring at the building and I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable, I was alone, a female, and still had to walk a good amount by myself to my car. I asked the person at the front desk if she could open the back door so I can safely and comfortably leave the building and told her there was a man staring at me when I came in and is still out there, I explained how I didn't feel comfortable or safe walking past him by myself. She said she would have to get the key from the manager and just said "sorry". It didn't seem like she even wanted to help me out in this situation, not sure if it's because I said no to the packages or if she just didn't want to get her manager...Thankfully, I quickly made the walk back to my car, I felt so anxious and uncomfortable the entire time but was grateful there were a few people in the parking lot as i made my walk to my car. My point is if someone is asking for help, you should be able to accommodate even if it's asking your manager to just open the back door...sadly, I won't be going back to this location anymore because of this. read more

Recently changed my laser place to Sev and I couldn't be more happy. Originally chose this place because the Kardashians go here (yes - weird reason, but hey a girl wants to feel bougie every now and then, and they must be good for the Kardashians to come here, right?), but their work, staff, just overall results I have been receiving are reasons why I stay. I have been lasering since high school and I don't know if it is because my body has become immuned to the pain, but every time I am at SEV, I never/ rarely even feel the pain. Because of this, I was afraid I wouldn't see any chance in hair removal, but I was wrong, after 2 sessions, I started to know the difference! One thing I thought was interesting was that the nurse/ person doing the lasering doesn't leave when you undress nor do they provide any paper/ plastic cover up for you. So if you are a bit shy, I would take this into consideration. Other than that, the nurses are all really sweet and care about whether you feel pain or not. I made an appointment for my teenage girl and the Nurse who called me was very rude. I haven't even gone to the Glendale location for my appointment and I already have a bad feeling of going there. The nurse was not professional at all, she asked questions like she was mad or frustrated. My first experience at SEV with Ina was great. At first I couldn't tolerate the laser level so I had her lower it for my Brazilian twice. So don't be afraid to ask. I've only shaved once in those 3 months. Feel: Very smooth Do I still have hair?: Yes, but it changed. If that makes sense. Like very thin arm hair. (If you're not hairy lol) Appearance: If I raise my arms it doesn't look like I have any hair. BUT I just checked and there is actually hair there. I'm new to laser hair removal and this place was recommended by a friend. I will say my experience with the NPs thus far has been great, and I find they are all comfortable answering my questions. Unfortunately, I haven't had the best experience with their front desk. I had an appt. for 1:55 pm and was going to be late (arrive at 2pm) because I was having issues with door fob (not the company's fault). I called to let them know that I was on my way and my arrival. Immediately was told that I'll need to reschedule because they have lunch at 2pm and the doors would be locked. Um, what happened to grace periods?! It was just honestly ridiculous. I arrived at 1:59 but was immediately told that it was my only accommodation. Funny enough - I was called for my first appt. asking how far I was as I was walking in (parking here is terrible). Do not let life happen to you before your SEV appointment because they don't care.
