I visited a while back with a friend who had a great experience here with laser hair removal. The staff was professional, and the procedure was smooth. The RN explained everything and answered all my questions, which made me feel comfortable. The session went by super quickly--granted, I only did my underarms, but even so, it was precise and easy. BEWARE WOMEN OF COLOR!! I went in for laser on my chin area on a recommendation from a friend who is of a darker skin tone (Virgin Islands but not black) so I trusted her and had a terrible experience! Being a dark skinned woman I assumed they have had women like me come in for laser treatment before and found out after the fact, they don't even use the right machines necessary for darker skin tones. Their lasers burned my skin and left terrible burn marks that will take weeks to heal. I've had laser done before and have never EVER been burned. They claimed it was due to having the machine on a "higher setting" but I won't be back to find out. I wouldn't come here if you are a melanated skin tone!!! read more

I used to go here but they kept changing the practitioner. Some new people did a botched job and burned my skin. One person even tried to operate when the cryogen wasn't working and it burned a lot and I read later that this process leads to scarring. On top of that, one time another new person did my side burns and left moon-shaped burns that left scarring. This happens when the laser isn't aligned correctly. I went back about this concern and they just tried to sell me vitamin C lightening treatments. It's been a year and some dark spots are still visible on my skin from when they did laser hair removal.
