We came to Mega at Seven Bridges in San Mateo to work on my son's pronunciation, and it ended up being so much more than that. From the start, she really took the time to get to know him, and every session felt more like a fun activity than therapy. I've had the honor of working with Mega Boise at Seven Bridges with two of my three children over the past few years, and we absolutely love her. My oldest, now 6, received speech therapy for a little over a year. During that time, we worked with a few different therapists, and Mega stood out by far. When my now two-year-old was diagnosed with an expressive speech delay, I immediately reached out to her and was so grateful she was still in the area. Mega is knowledgeable, warm, and incredibly engaging. I am constantly amazed by how naturally she connects with young children. She knows how to gently push my son while also recognizing when he needs a break, allowing him to get the most out of each session. She also does an incredible job partnering with parents. She takes the time to explain what she's working on and equips us with practical strategies we can use at home, which has made a huge difference in our child's progress. I have seen truly meaningful progress with my two-year-old, and so much of that is thanks to Mega's dedication and skill. Watching him find his voice has been incredibly moving for our family. My two-year-old genuinely looks forward to his appointments to "play" and even cries when sessions end--which says everything. Mega truly has a gift as a speech therapist. We started at Seven Bridges Therapy when my son was 5, and he continued until age 9. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Over the years, therapists changed frequently, offices changed, and at one point sessions moved to telehealth while we waited to return in person. Each time my son got comfortable, things shifted again. His session time was also reduced over the years. After evaluations, we were often told he met his goals. However, within a short time he would struggle with the same pronunciation issues again, which was frustrating and discouraging for him. Eventually, he became tired and disengaged. I truly tried to make it work, but in the end, it was not the right fit for my son. read more

We love, love, LOVE Mega!!! She was recommended to us by our previous ABA provider. We are SO glad we went with her. She saw both my kids who are on the Autism Spectrum. Mega is an absolute blessing. She meets every client at their level and does everything in her power to connect and provide an environment that is conducive to each kids' needs and learning style. The best part about Mega is her heart. She truly loves every child that enters her door. She's even been teary eyed while I gush about the amazing progress my kids are making. She is not just a therapist, she is so much more! My kids ask for her all the time. She really is the best SLP out there. Aside from the work she's done with my kids, she's supported me through difficult times and has given me so much wonderful advice and resources. She's just an incredible, caring, loving human being. This review is for ALL of Seven Bridges Therapy. They run a substandard business. When you call the only number on their main website, the automated voicemail asks you to fill out their online form. We did this four times. Someone did return a message the first time and we played telephone tag, leaving a number of detailed voice mails. Someone then texted my husband, asking him to fill out a link, which we did. About a full week later, a rude lady named Davinda, called and scolded us for "filling out the wrong form." (There is only a single form to fill out on their website aside from the other one they texted and asked us to complete.) Davinda said they had nothing in their system, and, "had we filled out the proper form, it would be in their system." Setting aside her finger-pointing, it has been a full 2.5 weeks and we still have no appointment for an assessment. For anyone considering this sub-par outfit, RUN and seek professional support elsewhere. We did. Horrible customer service. read more

I bet people who left comments about this center had the same problem as mine. STAY AWAY FROM SEVEN BRIDGES. They waste 4 years of my son's life. He's still on the waiting list since 2022. They don't have a speech therapist for 4 years, that's BS. The owner is ignorant and unprofessional and she manipulated me that if I don't take the post on Google my son will not get services, and that's also discrimination. She's lucky I didn't sue her yet. read more

We are a military family; knowing this place specializes in helping children with their speech, they can't even reach out properly to or with the parents without being rude. It's a big disgrace. We started off having one therapist twice a week, Tiffany, and she was awesome when we first moved here. Then all of a sudden, they decided to move and replaced her with another therapist. Super skeptical at first because they warned us a week before. The replacement, Ani, is super awesome. All of a sudden they changed my son's appointments from seeing her 2x to once a week with another therapist. He shouldn't be changing therapist every 3-5 months and having appointments cut without discussing it with us as parents. Now that it's the pandemic, they didn't care they cut my son's appointments from being seen twice a week with two different therapists to once a week VIA tele-therapy. First week of July, they decided to bring back the second appointment without a warning with the second therapist. And not only that, they decided to CHANGE to ANOTHER THERAPIST whom we never met, nor my son never communicated. She was sitting in one of the appointments but she didn't speak or try to approach my son. Where is the stability in having our son with just 1 therapist for the two appointments per week!!? It's changing every few months. This speech therapy business has a HUGE communication issue. This isn't the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time I had to speak to them about it. They want everything handed to them. Not only that, they don't know how to deal with payment/authorization through insurance in January, EVEN THOUGH we were with them as of May 2019. I emailed Shannon has an issue speaking to parents -- when you speak to her, best believe she'll have an attitude 99% of the time. read more

I would not recommend this place for Speech Therapy. Some of the therapists are very good and other are rude and do not really help the children with their needs. I got all my sessions cancelled because I did not make a payment on 5/25/2024, a Saturday during the long Memorial Day weekend. We were out of town and returned on Tuesday 28th. I quickly made the payment and thought everything was fine. However, on that same Tuesday, my son's scheduled therapy was cancelled, and I was told to contact the billing department. They cancelled all sessions without giving a few days to pay, especially during a long holiday weekend. This place is horrible, and the owner only cares about money. When I had to cancel a session, they are very pushy and insists on taking the session virtually, even if my child was sick, throwing up and could not attend in person or virtually. The representative on the phone said, 'the owner does not like to lose money, and this is why we push so much for the kids to attend. At times the scheduling department cancels appt the day of but still asking for us to call the office to reschedule a session or has threatened to cancel sessions if we do not reschedule sessions. read more

Some speech therapists are great, but would not recommend for virtual speech therapy. The program they use called Fusion Link never works and it takes 5-10 minutes to get set up with a new working link every single time! Extremely frustrating because each 30 min session costs so much, let alone spending 5-10 mins just trying to get the video link to work. Disappointing! read more

This place is amazing. The staff is highly trained in what they do. They really put in SO MUCH EFFORT in planning for the individual needs of their clients. We have been with 7 bridges since September 2019. We started out in-person before Covid and were able to continue with tele-therapy since the shelter-in-place began. My son has made GREAT progress with Mega. As my son grew older, it was apparent that he needed more services in addition to speech therapy. Although it wasn't a surprise that more help was needed, it was VERY new territory for me. Mega is such a wealth of knowledge and so kind and patient in helping me understand the different resources out there. We also moved since we started with Mega, and she's often reached out to other colleagues that are closer to us for more insight to other services closer to our area. She genuinely is a caring person who wants what's best for my son. As we all navigated through the pandemic, Mega has also been able to work miracles with our changing schedules several times. If you needed her to move a mountain, I bet she could do that too. WE. LOVE. MEGA. She's so above and beyond what we'd ever hope for! read more

To put it simply, Seven Bridges is amazing. Our 2 year old son has been going to individual therapy here for a few months and we can already see such an improvement. Finding a speech therapist for your child can be a scary and overwhelming experience, but all of the people that work at Seven Bridges have been so incredibly helpful and friendly. Our son now asks to see his therapist (hi Tina!) almost everyday because he has such a great time with her. All of the people that we've met there have been extremely warm and welcoming. I know every child's needs are different, but Seven Bridges has worked wonders for our son and I would recommend them to anyone. read more
