Pricing was nuts: $14 for two small drinks + tip + 3% credit card fee = $16+ in total! Service was barely hospitable and the whole place needed serious cleaning. If they'd eliminate that credit card fee (it's a cost of doing business in the 21st century!), give the place a good scrubbing (regularly) and figure out how to get their staff to genuinely engage with customers, they'd me as a regular five star customer. read more

Come for the coffee, stay for the market and browse through their vintage cold storage bin to peruse a fine selection of wines, libations and of course, a plethora of snacks. Personally, in my humble opinion, theirs is the best cold brew on planet earth. Careful though, it's got caffeine in it. Maybe a lot. I've never been disappointed and quite often I'm surprised because I forget how invigorating their cold brew can be. I also use it to power my rockets. You see, I'm an amateur astrophysicist. Seven is "our" coffee shop! My dog and I walk there almost every morning on our way to Ravenna Park. I love bringing my dog places, but it's great that they actually enforce people not bringing their dogs inside. My dog waits for me outside the shop, and get a treat from their jar when I come back out. The big windows in the front make it easy for me to keep an eye on him while I'm ordering. Their espresso is really tasty and the baristas are all friendly. Lovely outdoor seating and they also have a little selection of wine, beer, and groceries. read more

Cool little spot right next to Ravenna Park! I love having places like this in the city! This building must be over 100 years old, with a huge fridge from the 1920's.... So much to love about this little coffee shop!!! The only downside is the lack of seating. Which I actually love about it because it's quieter and A lot less busy than any other coffee shops! There is always parking, their coffee is amazing, there is a little mart inside with my favorite Iggy's honey made kombucha, chocolate bars, snacks, amazing pastries, healthy things etc! I've been driving by these guys for years and finally got a chance to try them out. Parking outside is 2hours tops. For being pretty tiny, they have decent seating. Very friendly people. I felt immediately welcome. Decent power options. They have a garage door they open in the summer - I adore that in a coffee shop! My 8oz latte is solid. They preheated my cup, so it's nice and toasty. That extra attention to detail is always nice. The latte art was solid and nicely aligned with the handle on the right. I'm surprised how many other pro shops still get that wrong. I give my drink 4/5. WiFi: 8/4 megabits down/up I'm always reviewing coffee shops from the POV of the digital nomad. Seven Cafe is a very unique and sweet little cafe/neighborhood grocer along Ravenna Park. Right in the middle of a residential area, completely surrounded by lush green on a mature tree-lined street. The staff here are all excellent. It's a perfect place to spend an hour writing or to meet a friend for a relaxing coffee or tea. Came here for a late pick me up coffee ~6pm and the place was empty! My group and I was surprised that the coffee shop was placed in the middle of a neighborhood. There's a lot of snacks and drinks you can buy along with a cup of coffee from this shop! In terms of the coffee quality, it tasted a little bit burnt but it was still a great cup coffee nonetheless. The cafe also ran out of cup sizes so we either had to upsize or downsize. I think this cute place is worth a visit if you want a late coffee or snack run! read more

Ok so I am leaving this review because I don't know how else to reach management, but I genuinely love this coffee shop. I live in the neighborhood, and the convenience alone is stellar, plus the vibes are so right. I come at least once a week, but I have to say, the inconsistency is STAGGERING. I never know if my drink is going to be delicious or disgusting, and here's the thing: I get the same drink every time. They clearly hire young kids and just throw them to the wolves, but for gods sake, TRAIN YOUR BARISTAS. If you're going to charge this much for a drink (which is in line with Seattle prices) then make sure the people making the drinks KNOW how to make them. Grocery items lean more local and niche, beer and wine are a plenty, and café items are worth the stop. Seven Coffee Roasters is not pretentious in claiming to have the best coffee to quench the coffee/espresso snob palate but the coffee will match if not succeed popular coffee chains without the crazy $$$.
