A wonder black and gray close-up by Jared Sislin photography
    Christian L.

I just got married at Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach, CA this summer and my wife and I couldn't be more happy with the photos From Jared Sislin photography! His pricing was fair and affordable and when I say he went above and beyond--I truly mean it. He and his videographer also took video for us, and we are extremely excited to get to relive our special day again. I would highly recommend him and this venue to anyone looking to have their special day memorialized forever. What I appreciated the most about his services was his creativity and passion for photography. He took full advantage of every angle of our gorgeous venue and was constantly looking for new places to shoot. The posted photo capturing us in between the bamboo demonstrates this well. I really don't ever do yelp reviews, but Jared deserves a stellar one for all the work he put in on our special day.

Drive slowly, you'll probably miss it. Come early, parking is super limited and you might have to walk. This is a multi story building for events. The elevator is on the left side of the building. Walk down the driveway and into the little door by the garage door or walk up one smallish flight of stairs to get to the elevator. We were here in the rain and the driveway was very slippery for guests coming to the reception! Please hold grandma and grandpas hand as they make their way down the driveway. The elevator is meant to carry a lot of weight for events so it's a slow one. The bathrooms are interesting. Labeled as Restrooms on the outside and inside are sinks, one stall, and a shower. There is an outdoor patio covered by a semi-permanent tent. The largest room is on the first level above the garage. The staff were all nice and clearly very accustomed to lost guests attempting to make their way around. You're probably going to end up in an employee only area but they are all kind about helping you find your way again. 4 stars overall due to difficulty parking and difficultly getting to elevators and small bathrooms for large parties. No one likes a line.

Perfect. Special.Beautiful.Magical.Romantic.Wonderful. Those words sum up my wedding over the weekend at Seven-Degrees. After a year's worth of planning, it was absolutely amazing to see everything come to fruition and see the fruits of my labor on the special day. All the details were executed exactly as I had envisioned and it was literally like seeing a dream come true. Best.night.ever. All the guests were incredibly impressed by the venue - specifically, the lighting, floral arrangements, FOOD - they were all raving about how good Chef Robert's dishes were like the Filet Mignon with seared scallops and Chocolate Pot de Crème. Food is very important to my husband and I as we're both foodies (him definitely more than me since he has the Yelp Elite status!) and Seven-Degrees lived up to all of our expectations. Outside of the delicious food, our coordinator, Alyssa Kayo did an excellent job during the planning process and was a thrill to work with. She was very detail oriented, organized, nice and had a good sense of humor. On the actual day, she was on the money and made sure everything ran smoothly. I was 110% confident that everything would be fine that day (it was more than fine, it was perfect!) and did not stress out one bit. Alyssa would check on me from time to time to make sure I was doing OK and even brought me some band-aids when I told her I had a blister on my foot :) I highly recommend Seven-Degrees if you're looking for a contemporary sleek/modern, unique venue with state of the art lighting/audio and phenomenal "Yelp foodie-approved" food. You will not be disappointed and it will be worth every penny!

This venue is beautiful and not too far from the beach. It's off hidden in the canyon located close to Sawdust. I've passed by here in the past but never knew it was here. We actually got to enjoy the venue because we were working a 40th birthday event that we were working. I didn't get to see the outdoor terrace at the top but the indoor venue was nice. Great pieces of artwork throughout the venue. All the pieces was influenced by mermaids and my favorite was the one where the mother mermaid was holding her baby. By far, one of the most beautiful art pieces I have seen. Would love to host my own event here possibly in the future.

If you're looking to get married in Laguna Beach, Seven-Degrees is the place. We were married in October, and our coordinator Scott was extremely helpful from beginning to end, going above and beyond always. We ran into a few issues with our outside vendors, but Scott stepped in to ensure that everything went smoothly. The day of our wedding, he kept the event flowing and made sure our guests were where they needed to be. Outside of the amazing hospitality, the food and beverage service was great. Upon entry, guests were handed a glass of champagne, which got them in the party mood immediately. We still have guests talking about the bacon wrapped blue cheese dates, miso salmon, and short ribs. In terms of budget, we couldn't have chosen a better venue. Seven-Degrees worked with us to meet all of our needs and made the process of working with outside vendors relatively easy. Not only was it a beautiful location, but an overall pain-free wedding planning experience. If you're still venue hunting, I would 100% recommend touring the site and giving them a call.

We had our wedding here last weekend and EVERYTHING was amazing!! It was a dream come true to have a perfect wedding! All thanks to Malak and the incredible staff! Malak our coordinator made everything so easy for me, from the planning meetings to getting everyone together for the sparkler exit, it was all perfect thanks to her! I would highly recommend that everyone has therwedding here! It is so fun to stay by the beach with family and friends then have a modern wedding at seven degrees! Thank you to the whole team!!!

Boba bar for our wedding - coordinator/venue accommodating in letting us set this up

Bottom line: venue architecture fits the wedding style you want, have your wedding here. Seriously. We had our ceremony and reception here and absolutely loved it. The venue is sleek, modern, and absolutely gorgeous. The staff was super helpful and accommodating to what we wanted - we got to set up a boba bar which the guests loved. The food was amazing, receiving high praises from our guests. The team at Seven-Degrees know how to host a wedding, and this was reflected on the great time that we and our guests had. The team will work with you throughout the whole planning process so you can have the wedding you want, and we were amazed with the amount of stuff included in the wedding package. Basically, with what the venue provided and the staff's help, it made planning a lot easier. With the amount of back-and-forth communication and changes in details, we are so grateful for how flexible the team was in accommodating us. And, we felt that we were taken of very well on the day of. Shout out to Scott, our coordinator, for making our day special. Super helpful and receptive throughout the whole process.

There wasn't a single hiccup, and it is a day we will cherish and remember for the rest of our lives. Danya is absolutely incredible and guides you through every step of the wedding planning process. She is patient, kind, and genuinely invested in bringing your vision to life. She made me feel heard every step of the way and helped turn my dreams into reality. The venue itself is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and located in a stunning setting. The staff at Occasions went above and beyond to make both my husband and me feel like royalty. If I needed anything at all, a staff member was already there and ready to help before I even had to ask. One of the things we appreciated most about Occasions was their flexibility. Unlike many venues, they allowed us to choose most of our own vendors and were very accommodating when it came to the decor and personal touches we wanted to incorporate. We even wanted to do a T-shirt toss during our reception, and they fully embraced the idea! The vendors they do require you to use (bar, catering, DJ, and bakery) were all outstanding. Every single one exceeded our expectations and truly represented the best of the best. Having those vendors already selected by the venue took away so much of the stress that comes with wedding planning. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be and more, and it would not have been the same without Occasions at Laguna Village, Danya, and their amazing staff. We will look back on that day for the rest of our lives with so much gratitude, and we will always be thankful that we chose this venue. We cannot recommend Occasions enough.

Dayna was our wedding producer and was the biggest help from the day we signed the paper. She made sure we checked all the boxes, even things outside of the venues direct responsibly, just to make it as easy on us as possible. We had multiple check ins and she was always open to answer questions via text or phone when we had them. She gave us tons of photo recommendation, took pictures throughout our rehearsal and wedding, and made sure we all were where we needed to be. Andrew with the Cliff restaurant was easy to communicate with and was very nice when we came in for our tasting. We tried a large variety of foods that were hard to pick from because they were all so good! We had great reviews of the food after the wedding and they were great about minding all allergens and dietary restrictions. The crab cakes, goat cheese crostinis and chicken curry skewers were all amazing hors d'oeuvres. The veggies and salad fresh and flavorful and of course our chicken and salmon were really really delicious. They take care of all set up of table, chairs, decorations, ceremony, reception, cocktail hour and everything in between. They gave us tons of freedom to do our wedding the way we wanted and it felt so seamless, I never had to stop and make a decision or handle any problems the whole night. Whether there were any snags, I have no idea, that's how great a job everyone did. All the staff were great! 100% recommend.

When I reported the incident, I expected at least a professional investigation and clear communication. Unfortunately, neither was provided. The most frustrating part was the lack of communication from hotel management. I had to follow up seven separate times before receiving any meaningful response regarding my claim. Even then, the information I received was inconsistent and contradictory. One hotel associate told me that security cameras were being reviewed, while another later informed me that there are no cameras in the parking lot at all. This lack of coordination and transparency made an already stressful situation even worse. When the hotel finally responded, they pointed to a limited liability disclaimer allegedly printed on the parking placard. However, the placard I was given was already torn when I received it, and I was never asked to read, acknowledge, or sign anything related to parking liability. Using a damaged placard as evidence that guests were properly informed feels misleading and raises serious concerns about how these policies are communicated. While I understand that hotels may have policies limiting liability, I expected better security measures, more professional communication, and a genuine effort to assist a guest whose property was damaged on-site. Instead, I encountered delays, conflicting information, and a complete lack of accountability. Based on this experience, I would strongly encourage future guests to exercise caution when parking here and to carefully document the condition of their vehicle and any parking materials they receive. The hotel's handling of this situation has left me with little confidence in its commitment to guest service and customer care.
