The manager came out to measure and discuss how the work would be done and go over possible additional charges based on my existing flooring. He provided a quote in a very timely manner and we scheduled the date! They assigned a two man team who showed up promptly on time each morning. The installers were amazing. They took such care in my home and were so respectful and efficient! They assisted with some installation questions I had and got right to work. They were so careful moving my furniture around and I was so touched that they made sure my bed area was cleared at the end of their upstairs workdays so I didn't have to sleep on the couch. They used plastic sheeting to mask off closet and bathroom contents to keep the dust down as much as possible due to the floor leveling process. They set up shop in my garage and at the end of each of the 5 days tidied the work spaces and swept up the garage very thoroughly. F and L..... thank you so much. I am glad I didn't write a review immediately after our floors were completed. After spending…read moreapproximately seven thousand dollars in April of 2021, our floors looked beautiful. Cesar was very helpful and his workers did a nice job on our small, 1000 square foot home. Unfortunately after three years, the floors are cracking (causing a safety issue while stepping on them as you can see in the photos), some are sinking in the middle, while others and shifting apart from one another causing big gaps. I've reached out to Cesar multiple times and I was told the flooring only has a one year warranty. He sent a worker out to fix the few that were starting to separate but unfortunately they continue to separate. He also mentioned he could file a claim with the flooring company which he hasn't responded to and I figured he wouldn't. When reaching out, he's out of the country at times which is understandable but after giving him our business, you'd think he would be more helpful in attempting to resolve this issue. I want other customers to know this risk as well, before spending a large sum of money for a product that does not hold its value over time. We even paid an additional amount of money because after they pulled up the old flooring, he said the foundation underneath wasn't level. The purchase started out so promising but has really become frustrating and upsetting.

We finally deiced to install hardwood flooring. Alexander Flooring were the official installer for…read moreLOWE's hardware and had replaced our carpeting. Rich Alexander came out and gave us a ton of information on what to buy and where to get it. Rich gave us so much advice on the types, brands, sellers, required methods. Our project was a bit complicated. We had the room extended and the contractor did a poor job of laying the concrete floor. It wasn't level, it had high and low spots, it was uneven. It required a lot of correction. They poured a liquid concrete floor leveling compound. Once they had the floor corrected, they laid the engineered hardwood. Originally, we considered 3/8th sold hardwood but Rich advised on the engineered floor, the solid hardwood will sometimes take humidity and the planks might change. Once they got started laying the floor they went very fast. Working as a team, one cut the planks, a second spread adhesive and the third trim cut planks and laid the wood. Something I wasn't aware of is dumping rubbish fees. The Puente/Rose Hills landfill is closed. They have to take your old carpet to a transfer station instead of a dump. Dumping fees could be well over $!,000. Alexander might not be the least expensive but consider your floor is going to be there for 30 - 50years. You might as well get it done right.

A lot of companies would have simply said, "That's not our issue," and moved on, but Robin did the opposite.
