I was referred by two other people that had used CS Painting for their own homes. I personally like referrals for work that has already been done by others. I had valances that need to be removed and crown molding to match the rest that I had in the dining room. Mike did an excellent job. Because of that, we then hired him to paint the outside of our home. He showed up on time, cleaned everything up at the end of the day when he and his worker left. Totally unreliable! We hired them to paint the exterior of our home, fences etc. My husband and I planned this for well over a month taking vacation specifically for the project. I got nervous when I didn't hear back regarding the final quote when promised and even had to ask for it before actually receiving it but I let it go because we initially liked Mike the guy who came for the estimate. I was again concerned when I did not hear from them the Friday before the job date as promised and once again had to reach out and make sure we were still a GO for Monday. I heard back from them late afternoon Saturday saying Yes we were good to go and they apologized for the late response but there was a death in the family. Ok, it happens we were still on so I said Great see you Monday 8A Monday about 7:18A his wife called saying they could not start the job because their son had covid. True or not at this point I took vacation for this, we cleared off all patio furnishings and plants, light fixtures etc we even had the bougainvillea trimmed so that he could get to the pillers of the fence and now less then an hour before start time they cancel! I asked what about other crew members??? Why couldn't they start the prep work without your son who according to them would probably be better by Wed or Thursday but she said they couldn't start without him "stupidest thing I ever heard". Now there is no time to hire another painter a "Professional One" to get the job done while I'm on vacation! They cost me $ without ever starting the damn job!
