We paid our deposit and remaining balance on time. 8 days before our stay we get a message that there was a computer glitch and they were canceling our reservations. My brother and his family had already purchased plane tickets and rented a car. This was a celebration for my mom's 70th birthday and I had already bought and paid for a $170 birthday cake from a local bakery. I begged them to please keep my reservations but they did NOT! Even though I had booked this 5 moths in advance they did not care. July 4th is the busiest weekend of the year in Washington State and to find another property for 16 people is almost impossible. This has been a very stressful situation that has left our family in tears.

The changing of the autumn colors made the perfect setting for the Lodge. The lodge itself is wonderful and has everything that you will need for a great family gathering! The rooms were all spacious and very comfortable. Something for everyone to do, whether you just want to snuggle in and read a book or hike around Lake Wenatchee. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook fantastic meals. Just a 20-minute drive into Leavenworth where you'll find a quaint Bavarian village. Margaret, the owner, was a joy to deal with. First, we booked the cabin through Capital One and did not receive any check-in information over text like they usually do. We only learned this once we were AT the cabins. We had to make multiple phone calls while standing outside the cabins in the snow at night. Not ideal. Plus, it took 3 tries to get a code that actually worked to open the front door. Not a great start. Once inside, we noticed multiple Cheerios on the floor and dust on surfaces. The housekeeping was concerning. Wifi was slow, and we had to fuss with the TV to get streaming services to be usable. Not to mention, an additional DAILY fee for things like the Rumpl blanket and cooler that are already in the room, and we didn't ask for? Odd. Anyway, you pay more for less when you stay at LOGE. The river views were great but the actual accommodations are lackluster and left more to be desired. I recommend staying somewhere closer in town and saving yourself the 20min walk each way.

The atmosphere was welcoming, cozy, and perfectly fit the mountain-town vibe--it immediately felt like a place you want to relax and stay awhile. What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the people. The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, especially Karen and Juan, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warmth and kindness made such a difference and really elevated our stay. Even more impressive, the manager personally greeted us as we walked in, asked how we were doing, and made us feel truly valued as guests. That level of care is rare and says a lot about how well this place is run. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, appreciated, and taken care of. This is hospitality done right. Makes it easy to reheat any leftovers that we brought. The room was spacious and also had a small table and chairs to eat. The TV was a small but it did its job. Path to back side rooms is uneven sloping toward the river and moves like it might break soon 3. There is exposed insulation shoved around air conditioner units and bent covers on other A/C units 4. Stairs to the back side rooms are crumbling , including the railing 5. Air vents are filthy It was super disappointing to see the state of this place and be forced to either lose two nights of money or stay here. We would not stay here ever again. Also, did not dare use the pool after seeing the lack of care for upkeep of this place.

There was a slight issue with the water but once the owner was made aware he had it fixed in probably under an hour. All in all great service. The only subpar thing about my time there was it snowed really heavily in the area before and while we were there and the plowed pile of snow blocked the view on the road when you tried to pull out of the parking lot so we had a hard time seeing the cars coming 40+ miles toward us. Though, I don't think that was the fault of the ranch, just something to keep in mind in the winter months.
