Really nice people. Easy to make an appointment. That might be due to the fact people are going elsewhere. They were the only game in town for this area so have been able to take advantage of convenience and thus add that into cost passed on to the customer. Shop around. It's unfortunate because the people are really nice. This is a problem with many animal clinics. They guilt you into spending. Way over priced and too much upselling. Every now and then you get a vet the genuinely tells you what you need, but it's rare. Overall a shady business. Best of luck. read more

After 4 years with Seville. I learned that they are money hungry. The doctor said my dog has a heart murmur and needs medication for life. After six months we were told she had to have blood work every 6 months to continue meds that she would need to take the rest of her life. 6 months later we were told she needed blood work twice a year and X-rays once a year to get refills. We took her to two other vets that after doing blood work X-rays and cardio there was no reason for her to be on this $100 monthly medication. We saw three vets at Seville during the 2.5 years she was on the meds, and not one said I don't hear a murmur. Actually just said they would not refill her needed meds without more these yearly and bi yearly tests. She never showed symptoms. She is healthy. read more

Unfortunately, my experience with this vet office has been consistently frustrating due to the front desk staff. Every time I call, there is confusion about the reason for my call--whether it's scheduling an appointment or requesting a medication refill. Most recently, they refused to refill a prescription despite it being clearly ordered by the veterinarian previously. When I explained that I only wanted the refill per the vet's prior instructions and that I would then be switching vets, the front desk person responded with "okay perfect, have a great day" and abruptly hung up. We never had issues with Seville. I know a lot of people complain about the price but we didn't see that was an issue. Has they are in range with other vets. We use another vet but loved having Seville also. The front desk receptionist made me rethink ever using this practice again. I called Monday to request my pets records. She explained that they will be sent right over later that day. Perfect. I waited until 2 days later and called as I didn't receive them. The same lady answered and said to check my spam. But she will look over my file anyways to see. As she's looking she explains the vet needs to look over it and wasn't on until Thursday. I explained to her I wasn't aware that it would take more than 24 hours as I have a main bet and I requested from them and got them less than 5 hours. She said the vet needs to sign off on it to make sure everything is correct. Correct? I'm confused. So I ask her are these are the same papers they give me when I leave? She saids yes exactly. So again if you let me leave with them how come I have to wait almost a week now to get them? She responds in my opinion as dismissive and condescending. Well you called on the 12th didn't you?! It's now only the 14th. Okay now have a good day. Yes you're right ma'am. I did call the 12th But it could have also been told that on the 12th that the doctor is out and I wouldn't receive my file until the 15th or whenever the vet looks over them to make sure they are correct and we wouldn't be in this issue. Where now you lost a customer and getting a bad review. Word of advice. A person answering your phones is who we hear and deal with first. We don't get to know who the vets are until after we are in the office. If someone answering your phones to new customers or old treats them like this. They will never get a chance to know how great a vet you truly are. Be more understanding and compassionate. I would have given 5 as the vets are great. Sometimes great, sometimes a nightmare to work with. 4 times now they have called to reschedule appointments because they don't have the appropriate services available at that time. After the 2nd time we started calling to confirm availability and yet they still call back 30 minutes before appointment, as we are loading into the car, to cancel or reschedule. Extremely frustrating. Vets and Techs have always been excellent. Front office staff is always friendly but they have significant organizational issues. read more

Seville helped my poor 1 year old French Bulldog after two emergency vet trips and no solid answer we came To Seville. Our doctor was Dr.Harvey and she was amazing! After the other emergency vet was giving me so many uncertain diagnosis, Dr.Harvey was confident in what see saw. Her treatment plan was reasonable and made sense, no extra unnecessary tests/treatments. After 6 hours of observation, cold laser therapy, steroid shot, and blood work my dogs paw had already improved and she was feeling so much better. I can't thank them enough for finally giving me the answers I needed and treat my dog with the correct medications to make her road to recovery a faster one! read more

Really appreciate Seville Vet and its hardworking staff. Everyone is super friendly and their priority is your pet's health - the providers take their time to explain to you what's going on with your pet, what the next steps are, and what's to be expected, so it doesn't feel as though you're struggling through your pet's medical condition on your own. They respond quickly through email, and you're usually patched straight to front desk staff when you call their number instead of being put on hold. Majority of bad reviews for Seville seem to stem from their prices. Does it hurt my pocket when I bring my geriatric kidney cat here? Meh, but that's also to be expected. If you're bringing in a pet with chronic conditions or you've adopted a pet that wasn't well-taken care of prior to bringing them into your home (my circumstances), then it makes sense that you need to pay more for your services. The bill also clearly dictates how much each service or medication is and what the fees are for, eg. OSHA compliance. If you don't want to provide vaccinations or get unfamiliar medication, you don't have to get it right then and there. The staff understand and you can always do some more research before coming back and speaking to a provider. I don't understand all the two-star reviews fuming about the costs because it's not like you're being forced to pay for a service that you weren't expecting - the provider always checks in with you on what they'll be proceeding with and how much it will be before they actually do it, and you get a nice little paper to sign saying you authorize the procedures. Honestly, you pay for what you get, and general checkups here are about the same price as they'd be at other locations, according to a friend who helped me compare prices. Then again, Seville has been the only vet I've been to for my pet out of convenience and familiarity, so do what you will with my previous sentence. Attached photos of my cat just because! read more

Dr. Bronz,opened Seville Veterinary Hospital on Higley several years ago. We lived in Seville a community between Chandler Heights & Riggs rds. off of Higley. We have gone there since the time they opened. Dr. Bronz gave us a tour after we asked to see the hospital we would be taking our dogs. She is very professional & very friendly. At that point we knew wanted to bring Charly & Abby to someone that we could trust taking care of them. We recommend Dr. Bronz & the rest of her staff. Our dogs are our babies & we wouldn't just trust any place or anyone with them in time of need. Yes they are more expensive at times than some of the others. read more

Seville has cared for our elderly cat periodically, and done a great job. We got a puppy a few weeks ago, and brought him for his second round of shots, when he had an allergic reaction. Very scary event that could've easily turned tragic! But! Dr Richard (s?) immediately managed it and prevented further problems. A very impressive display of professionalism by her and the entire staff at Seville. They clearly explain all options and charges, working closely with us to make the best choices. I've been with Seville Vet since about 2016... I'm a breeder so it's very important to me that all my dogs are treated well and always receive the best care. I have customers from Arizona and throughout the U.S. but if they are local they stay with Seville Vet as well. I refer them to everyone. There are approx 5 Vets so if you don't like one, try another one.. they are all great but you know sometimes you click and sometimes you don't. If you ever have an issue just call Gary the office Manager he loves to hear from everyone. Remember they deal with a lot every day so treat the receptionists and techs how you want your pets to be treated! With respect! read more

Moved from Seattle and my dog got sick. Like really sick. Like his nose was falling off his face. Thankfully I found a great vet who did lots of testing and treating to find out he has lupus. The vet was fabulous at explaining every step and making each step my choice to make. My only complaint would be I usually spend a solid hour waiting in the room for her to come in, which does get really old after several times. There are good at Accommodating the fact that my dog is a rescue and not dog friendly towards other larger dogs they let me come in the exit they have a room ready where he never runs into another pet it's perfect! Let's of follow up calls from the fabulous staff to see how Rex was doing from the start of his treatment to the end of it. read more

Please Do NOT take your beloved pet to this place. 1. They are double and triple the cost of any other animal hospital, just gold digging by using the love of your pet. 2. They misdiagnose. 3. They tell you that taking your animal to another veterinarian, will make you start treatment all over again. and you will have to pay again for everything. 4. You will never see your animal again except for pictures showing them alert, bright eyed and then be told "shes not any better, its coming up to the weekend and we think its In Her best interest to be put out of her pain." If you baby is not getting better under Seville Hospital treatment TAKE them to another veterinarian for a new opinion. It should not cost to start over unless Seville doesn't/cannot/didn't keep records of treatments. Blood tests, urine tests, fecal test and xrays. Not to mention many vetrinary clinics have wifi cameras you are given access to, so you can see for yourself how you pet is doing whole undergoing inhouse/hospitalized treatment. Or better yet, take them somewhere ELSE FIRST, and never take them here. read more

After the fact I had seen many recommendations for Seville posted on Nextdoor. My first visit went very well, despite the curbside/COVID restrictions, which they handled with excellence! Everyone was very sweet and informative, the office was clean and welcoming (I loved that they had my dogs name on the front desk sign - welcoming him as a new patient ). I loved how professional and kind they all were and not pushy at all with regards to what Medical care I was able to do and pay for today. I've had bad experiences elsewhere where they were very pushy and pressured me into things I either couldn't afford or wasn't able to do at that time. I had taken my dog there a couple of years ago while visiting . I have just moved here and my dog got vert sick and I called and call vet after vet no one would see us but the emergency clinic with a 3 to 4 hour wait. Took a chance and just walked into Seville and asked if they would please see my dog she is very I'll. They were so kind and agreed to see her. The receptionist was very nice as was the Doctor their concern for my pet was was overwhelming to me after so many NO"s we are sorry. They worked out a treatment plan and listened to me when I suggested we get the fist part done and see how she reacts and if no improvement then continue with the rest of the plan. Thank you for your understanding and concern for my Bella and being reasonable about the cost. I am a Senior and my budget is not real flexible so taking her care a step at a time was a great help to me. read more

I should have listened to my friends when they advised to not go to Seville Vet, but I had hoped with the close convenience of the hospital, it would of been a better experience. The experience at the hospital was not necessarily with the doctor herself or the assistants in the examination room as they were all very pleasant, but the young ladies that work at the customer service desk. After spending over $200 dollars the week prior for my dog to have her ears looked at I had asked the front desk how much my next appointment was going to be. She stated all your having done is a follow-up exam, so it will be $30. We showed up one week later and were shown into the exam room. We waited another 10 minutes and the assistant swabbed my dogs ears with a Q-Tip and said yes there is still some matter in there. Really...yes as I clean her ears every day I can tell you that. I then waited for over 25 minutes for the doctor to come in and tell me that the dogs ears were getting better, but still needed additional healing time. She did apologize for being so late as the other doctor had to leave for the day. Get it. Things happen. Went out to the desk to pay by bill - to the more unfriendly one of the two clerks that work at the front desk and she stated it would be an additional $81 dollars. I actually did laugh out loud and said "For what? All you did was have me wait around for over 40 minutes and put a Q-tip in her ear. You advised me it would be $30 only for the visit last week!" I will openly admit I was being louder at this point and they told me I needed to go back into the exam room and wait for the doctor for my privacy of course. Um no, you did not want me making a scene in front of your other customers. I could hear the talking behind the door and then not the doctor, but another gentlemen that I had not dealt ever with came in and tried explaining to me what the other charges were for. Sorry, I was not buying it. I said I would pay for the exam as I was advised last week. He then began to tell me that the front desk does not know what all the exams are about and they should not be quoting prices. I again stated I will pay for the exam and I asked him what that final price was and he stated $33, $36 or $38 he was not sure. I then asked what happened to the $30. He looked at me and disappeared behind the door again. More talking and then he came back and said $30. Again walked out to the desk and dealt with the un-friendly front desk. I did try to apologize to the young women for taking the brunt of my frustration and she was very short and snippy back to me. I will be honest at this point I was also to her. Being in the service industry for over 20 years, the front desk is key to your business and with the loads of options for vet care in the area, thank you for making it easy for me to choose somewhere else. read more

While they can be pricier than other vets in the area, in the last 6 months I've been able to get in twice in the same day of calling for my boxer. The whole staff is always so friendly and sweet and listens to my concerns and I truly feel like they go above and beyond to care. They don't offer gimmicky treatments to make an extra dollar, everything that have ever done for us has come from a place of experience and knowledge to help my baby out. We've been here for both routine visits, his neuter, and now two urgent care visits and they've all gone so smoothly. I can't recommend them enough. read more

Fantastic practice, every vet is kind and competent. Office staff make it easy to schedule appointments and techs take the time to know your pet. No pressure to have tests or procedures. Our pet has a chronic condition and even when we can't see our usual vet, the vet we see is fully aware of our situation. If this review was solely about the quality of service, I would give this clinic a perfect rating. The staff is friendly and professional. Unfortunately, this review is about the entire experience and let's just say that I haven't seen a sales culture like this outside of boiler rooms. I've lost count how often I've had to decline services, because it's obvious that they were suggested not for diagnostic or therapeutic reasons, but to pad the bill. Never mind the fact that services here are significantly more expensive than nearby clinics. I get that there's higher overhead being in this part of Gilbert, but the prices are closer to price gouging. The scary part is that getting a straight answer about specific pricing is like pulling teeth. Maybe if the pricing was based on rational criteria instead of "Our customers are suckers, they'll pay whatever we tell them to", they wouldn't feel the need to delay and deflect. This clinic charges for things that most clinics do for free as part of a general visit(IE Nail Trims). If you enjoy professionals trying to upsell unnecessary procedures and products in a high pressure atmosphere, then Seville is for you. I won't return to this clinic, because I can't trust a provider that cares more about the bill, than about my pet. read more

We brought our senior dog here for a first time, emergency visit. Not only did they fit us in right away, they took exceptional care of our dog. Dr. Richards did a thorough exam, helped us come up with an immediate action plan and took excellent care of our dog. Dr. Booey performed dental surgery and did a fantastic Job. The outreach and follow up was/is incredible. We've never received such great care for our dog. We transferred care for all 3 of our dogs to Seville and we feel so lucky to have found this place! My puppy was severely gagging on and off for almost 10 minutes and when I called them, they said they could fit him in within an hour! Great first experience with Dr. Harvey and the staff at Seville Veterinary Hospital. We recently moved to the area and needed a close place to check on our cat who was showing some lethargic signs. We were able to get an urgent care visit set up that day. We were anxious with dropping off our cat with strangers and leaving, but the anxious experience was worth it. Dr. Harvey took the time to explain her thoughts on what was going on and really did a great job of listening to the circumstances. This was a great conversation. Seville Veterinary Hospital is an exceptional veterinary clinic. We have brought our malitpoo pup, Lucky, to Dr. Bronz and vet technicians for 4 years now. Every time we are in or call to the office, we are greeted with a smile and kind words. They all listen to our worries and take fast action to get Lucky feeling better. This last trip was for her immunizations and teeth cleaning. We got calls to let us know when she was done and how she was doing, when we could come pick her up and a call from Dr. Bronz letting us know how great our little pup was and that she got a "patient of the day" award. Do not take your pet here! Adopted a 5 year old dog took her here, she was on medicine his whole life. They re filled the prescription one time and when it came time to a refill they want to charge me $157.36 every month for a blood work up on top of the cost of the medicine. They do not care about the animal as they refuse to refill the medicine that she has been on her entire life. Since they have refused to refill the medicine, I have to wait a week for another vet appointment. She has been Adam medicine it is very sick because of it. read more

These guys are beyond awesome. The staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door. My dog's appointment was right on time with minimal waiting time for the Vet to evaluate her. They took a detailed history and examined my dog thoroughly and gently. The Vet then explained her exam findings in a way that we could understand. I strongly recommend that you take your pet here for all your pet's needs. They are the best. read more

As a former customer of SVH I am not happy with the service I received. I felt that the Dr tried to upsell me on items that I did not require for my dogs current condition. Furthermore - My dogs condition was not adequately diagnosed and I ended up having to get her seen again at a different clinic (Arizona Animal Wellness Center), where they found additional infections that required more treatment. The items that the Dr at SVH tried to sell me, weren't even discussed here (as a matter of fact, they said they were a waste of money). AAWC even offered to test my other animals for free to make sure the infection did not spread, where this was a $60 cost at SVH (normally $30 at AAWC). read more
