If you are looking for a sewing store where the staff still believes in great customer service then this is the place for you! The owner Loris is very pleasant to deal with and has a vast knowledge of sewing, tips and tricks, materials, as well as the Brother sewing and embroidery & Juki sergers and sewing machines, she carries in the store. I bought a sewing/embroidery machine and she gave me countless FREE hours of instruction on how to use it and get the most from it. I wouldn't go any where else to buy a machine. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the big box stores or online because you won't get the help. She teaches both private and group sewing classes to children as well as adults. She carries embroidery threads which is what I was looking for when I came in, and I was pleasantly surprised that she also has a monthly "embroidery club" members can make fun projects while learning new techniques. This store is the greatest place to find anything a sewing or embroidery enthusiast may ever want or need. It's brightly colored and just as welcoming as the staff you'll meet inside. They're always friendly and helpful. It's definitely the place to go if you're having trouble with a home sewing, small business or school sewing project. You can even take private lessons to hone in your skills, or take group classes and mingle with like minds. The best part is, that all ages are welcome which is something I have never been able to find elsewhere. Lori clearly has a passion for all that she does and her passion and knowledge make this place a favorite spot of mine. I can definitely say she's helped me more times than I can count with my apparel projects, and they always turn out beautiful in the end because of it. I have been meaning to write a review for a long time! I have been going to lori at sew much fun, for over 5 years! I love it, I have learned so much being here, from basic sewing to embroidering! Lori is so helpful, patient and very knowledgable, in everything. She takes the time for everyone and sometimes that isn't easy. I recommend Sew much fun for alterations, to honestly anything, and if lori can't do it she will tell you, and if possible suggest someone. I have been taking weekly classes with Lori for several months now, and she has been a great instructor and motivator! Some weeks she helps me puzzle through a pattern I don't understand, some weeks she's explaining garment fitting, and some weeks she provides the encouragement to complete a project. I appreciate being able to work at my own pace and on my own project, and Lori does a great job assisting all the students in each class. My nine year old daughter has been taking sewing lessons from Ms. Lori for over a year now. Ms. Lori has such a wonderful connection with adults as well as children. My daughter made dresses, shirts, shorts and tops. Ms. Lori is such a wonderful teacher. Everyone at the store is so nice and helpful. I made a school uniform for an 18" doll for the school auction and wanted to have the initials embroidered onto the blouse collar. I went to the shop on a very busy Saturday morning and Lori stopped what she was doing and embroidered it on the spot! She expertly maneuvered the machine and looked as if she could have done it in her sleep. This is a great little shop, surprisingly well-stocked. I found this place online when I was looking for someone to alter my daughter's prom dress. I took a chance based on some of the reviews. I must say that I am happy I did. My experience at Sew Much Fun was awesome. Lori, Annette and Arshow did exactly what I wanted done. Gabby's dress came out perfect. I was introduced to Sew Much Fun when I wanted to start taking a sewing class. Lori is great and so knowledgeable. I loved the class but with work and everything else I don't have time to get my sewing machine out much so I take my alterations for her to do.
