I walked into the store, described to Kristy the type of gown I was looking for, and she showed me a couple that were right on point. I found my dress that afternoon. From there, I needed some alterations - I was buying the gown off the rack because we had a short time frame - and the seamstress was amazing - she made the dress fit me perfectly - it was such a smooth and stress free experience from start to finish and the gown was gorgeous. I turned to my trusty Yelp and found Sylvia. She was very pleasant to deal with on the phone and I connected my wife with her to set up an appointment. She said she'd be able to meet the three day deadline and asked $40 for the job after meeting with my wife where she explained how she wanted the garment altered. Fast forward to delivery and it just wasn't quite right. Specific alterations my wife had requested weren't done to her satisfaction.. some weren't done at all. I'm no seamstress but I do sew a great deal in my profession. First off the margins were uneven and there was an unnecessary amount of double stitching. I think the main complaint was the color of thread the original designer used was red on a red garment. Sylvia used orange which was unnoticeable in pictures but not to the naked eye. For $40 for the minor alterations requested it should've been flawless or at the very least the instructions of the customer should've been followed to a T and the matching thread color should've been used.

They have everything from sheaths to full-blown princess dresses. The dress I fell in love with is a Dere Kiang gown that seemed to be consigned to the store; it even had the original veil with it! There are even some evening formal dresses and special occasion dresses in their store, so if you have a formal event coming up, stop by to take a look! Overall experience: I was able to put my dress on hold for a week but ended up going back a few days later with a friend to get a second opinion and try it on a second time. I couldn't walk away the second time but was able to get the dress and the veil for under $300! Each time I talked to Emily or Anita, I was met and received with friendliness and genuine concern for what I wanted.
