Honestly, this place isn't that bad! I was surprised to see the rating and I do feel like Sexy Pizza wasn't worth a 3.6! I'd give it a solid four. I've had way worse and I've had way better pizza! For a slice, it's roughly $4-$5 which is not bad considering the size. This slice is pretty big in my opinion! A little floppy and difficult to eat (unless you kinda sandwich it or fold it together). They sell pizza by the slice but they have no pizza slices ready. I ordered one slice Pizza meat lover for my son who was super hungry and I'm still sitting here for 45 minutes waiting for my one slice. My husband even came up to ask about the pizza and he said a couple more minutes. But before that no acknowledgment although they said the pizza will be done in 15 minutes when we ordered it. They had orders but it was not packed. Besides us there is only one other party in the restaurant waiting for their pizza. They did have some pick up to go orders. I'm a strong believer in good customer service and good customer service would've been acknowledging that we've been waiting for over 15 minutes as originally mentioned. It had flavor and it's not overly greasy. $5 for a meat lovers FYI: they charge one dollar for a compostable Pizza box when I would've been fine with a paper plate. Love the little gem! The gluten feee crust is as close to actual crust that I have found for tavern style pizza. They are super chill about cleaning and changing gloves for celiac no matter how busy they are. The pizza comes out with that great snap and stringy cheese. This was a great hang with my friends as we were winding down the night. Staff was super friendly, place was clean, and the pizza was good! As for feeling sexy, well, the thin crust was unique for around here and I left feeling good but not overly full. Super tasty too! I believe the sauce can make or break a slice and their sauce is good. Really a unique tasting slice in a good way. We used to order from here weekly if not more. Yes, way too much. This continued for quite some time, and one day while on a walk, we decided to pop in for lunch. FF to today,,,, Since I was gifted a $50 gift card I figured it was time to give this place another try. I had issues entering the gift card so I called in and was directed to the correct site. I had to create a profile, and I entered my items to the cart for the second time. When I got to the part where I was to enter the gift card, where the guy on the phone told me to go not 5 minutes earlier, it wouldn't work. So I called again and explained the issue. He said "yeah my manager and media manager are here and they are working on it as we speak....but I can take the order over the phone". OK. So I order for the 3rd time, while telling the guy on the other end of the phone the negative history with Sexy Pizza. I give him the gift card info, and he says that he needs a CC to cover the remaining $4. I find my CC and give him the info and once complete he says "....uh...hold on..." talks to someone nearby (manager I am assuming) and then tells me the register froze up. He told me he was really trying to give me a better experience, and I told him he definitely wasn't able to. It was not his fault of course - the website not working and the POS freezing up are definitely management issues. I told him "look, I have been trying to order for over 15 minutes now and I am starving, so just forget it. I will order elsewhere." He said "OK bye." Not "hey we have your info and what you want. let me ask the manager if we can comp this and get you taken care of HE'S RIGHT HERE". Nope. Bye. Sexy Pizza is a great pizza stop when you're in Denver. It's definitely a splurge (We paid $54 to pick up one large pizza) but I would say it's mostly worth it. I don't like sauce on my pizza and it wasn't an option to add on the website, but i put it in "special instructions" and was happy to see that they saw my message (: I am very picky when it comes to pizza, especially NY thin crust. Nothing but good words for the taste. I recommend adding double garlic for extra flavor. The crust is bomb. Good to go service via the website and our encounter during pick up.
