I completely love this place, whether it's to go out with some friends or my boyfriend. The hospitality and customer service of Seymour's is beyond amazing. Mido one of the owners always greets me and whoever I'm with, with the biggest smile and accommodates anything we need! His approach towards his customers is one you really look for in managers and owners. One great example is when all tables were taken outdoors but Mido made sure that a table was brought out from inside so I can enjoy my meal outdoors in the sun. Aside to all the outstanding and kind people that work there, the food never fails- so tasty and can range to healthy all the way to a cheat day! We called & said there's no wait & tables which was true to sit down but ordering & actually getting our food was the same as if we ate elsewhere. I've driven by this place 100 times and thought it was just a deli. So glad I finally made a stop in to this hidden gem. I was greeted right away and everyone is so welcoming. The menu is awesome- so many healthy and tasty options. They have a cozy seating area perfect for lunch or brunch. I'm considering using them for my catering needs at my business and one of the owners, Mido, was so helpful in putting together an awesome catering package. I can't wait to hire them for the catering and I will certainly be back to try other items off their menu. Meantime, I'm thoroughly enjoying the everything bagel with egg and cheese that I ordered to go. The bagel is SO soft and flavorful. And the banana chip muffin is to die for. Seymour's doesn't disappoint! I ordered a Jersey Cheesesteak yesterday and it was awesome! I was looking for a great cheesesteak without having to go very far, and Seymour's delivered. Some cheesesteaks are very fatty, which is kind of gross to me, but this was perfectly lean and delicious. I can't recommend Seymour's any more highly! Great customer service, great food. read more

My bf ate inside this establishment while I was in a procedure, and ordered for me to go. I'm giving 4 stars because he said it was very clean inside, the server was super attentive and made sure his drinks were always full, and he loved the platter he got. I ordered the avocado toast platter with a fried egg. The bread is very tasty and great quality but the avocado was slightly brown throughout and was not seasoned with anything on top, not even salt & pepper. The egg was definitely fried, the ends were crunchy, but it wasn't the best tasting egg ever. I liked that the platter included arugula. The avocado toast definitely could've been a lil jazzed up though, I've had much better elsewhere. The potatoes were cooked perfectly, seasoned well and the sautéed onions were a nice touch. I love Seymour's and have never been disappointed! The food is excellent and the staff is wonderful. It's hard to try new things because my usual orders are amazing and it's hard to stray! Seymour's is easily the best cafe I have ever been to. The service is exceptional and the staff are all very thoughtful. The food.....the food is soooo good and consistent! I'm so happy my family and I stumbled upon this place a month and a half ago. We love this place so much, we drive 30mins out to Livingston for it EVERY SUNDAY. What a fantastic little spot. If you're looking for a nice brunch atmosphere on a weekend mid-morning, Seymour's delivers. The quality of the food is very good and the waitstaff are friendly. I would usually give no more than 4 stars to a restaurant that has group seating (couples seated at tables lined up next to each other) but the waitstaff have been polite and seated us at a larger table before just to get us in quicker; also they have a self-service coffee bar at the front which makes the wait easier. Prices are on par for Livingston, not cheap but not unreasonable. Parking is easy and free, they have a lot on the side of the building. read more

Seymour's is just awesome. I called them twice in the last week to fulfill large Shiva Platter orders and deliveries. They went above and beyond to make these platters beautiful and they ensured that they were delivered in a timely fashion. They even included a card for the family. They were easy to work with and had great suggestions. I am unfamiliar with Shiva and so they made sure that what I ordered was appropriate and sized correctly to fit the family's needs. I am located in Los Angeles and they in New Jersey - but they made everything go smoothly. I would definitely recommend giving this deli and bakery your business. Seymour's is a local place but it's just alright in my opinion. When looking for a place to get food and there is nowhere else to go, Seymour's is a good option. By no means is Seymour's bad, it's just average. They offer a huge menu selection that has plenty of trendy foods as well including poké and açaí bowls. The reason why I didn't give 3 stars is because for what it is, it's very pricey. It's not expensive per se but I don't want to spend $10 on a smoothie when I could go to an actual smoothie place and pay less. If the prices were on par with similar items at other places then I guess it will be alright. I went for breakfast yesterday and ordered whole wheat waffle, which was so so. I paid the bill at my seat and then got up to leave when I saw a cockroach crawling in my plate. I was nauseous, called the waiter over to show him and he appeared shocked. I got up and told the manager and he was shocked and said "that's impossible". He checked with waiter, who confirmed and came back to me without apologizing or offered to return my money, or do anything! He just said it wasn't there when it was served to me. I said, really! Their customer service is great. I got a Taylor egg ham & cheese with extra mozzarella on a toasted whole wheat bagel. While waiting, I noticed their freshly squeezed orange juice is $6!!! Are you kidding me. This isn't NYC -- so overpriced! The bagel was okay. The bagel was so stiff.. it felt like I was eating a cardboard TBH. Half way eating, I noticed I was eating an everything bagel, not a whole wheat aka they messed up my order. The key to a good bagel is the softness and fluffiness of the bagel which this place did not have. I immediately knew that the bagel was stiff upon looking on it. Had the best brunch I've had in a while here. I always thought Sweet Basil's Cafe was the only place to have a good brunch in this area and suggested it but my fiancé decided to come here instead. SO happy that he recommended this place because it is really above and beyond (and much better than Sweet Basil's). It was also packed in the take out section when we walked in - clearly a good sign - but we got seated right away. The waitress we had was super sweet and provided prompt and great service.
