A few years ago I added Botox. Dr G was my first experience with Botox and she's wonderful. In the beginning she listened closely to what I wanted (to remove the ever deepening line between my eye brows) and she explained that to get a natural look involves considering how all the muscles move together. She tried different injection locations, asked how I liked it at my next visit, and adjusted based on my feedback. Now, when I come in she ensures I want the same constellation of injections and works off her recorded "map" of my face. Dr G is very good at Botox! The results are wonderful and she always reminds me of how to care for it (for example, no exercise that raises my heart beat for 24 hours). Dr G is also wonderful with patients. I was in significant pain and repeatedly asked for more anesthesia. My concerns were ignored. Afterward, things only got worse. This took place over a holiday weekend, and I was not provided with a direct emergency contact. When I experienced severe pain and complications, the office was closed and unreachable. I had no choice but to go to the ER, where I was treated and given antibiotics. In the weeks following, I developed complications consistent with fat necrosis and required multiple drainages. Nearly two years later, I am still dealing with ongoing issues in my hip, including hardness, swelling, and recurring infections. When I returned to Dr. Gorman for help, I did not feel supported.
