I stopped by the store during my lengthy home restoration, and was feeling overwhelmed about what tiles I should use for my new bathroom. Not only did Karen take the time to show me many options, but she was also very mindful of my budget. I was impressed also that I was able to take numerous samples home with me to see the tiles in the space. The entire Snug Harbor Tile team made my renovation less stressful and were always available if I had a question about my order. Best tile store on the South Shore!!!! Worked with Karen on designing 3 bathrooms. Besides the fact she was very patient with me... her taste was impeccable!!!! I will have gorgeous bathrooms all because of her. She completely helped me through the process. Most places would charge a designer fee for what she did for me. I just can't say enough good things about Snug Harbor Tile. It's beautiful and soooo easy to find just the perfect tile!!!! Go no further if you need tile. This is the only place you will need. Worst tile store because of bad customer service. I gave them the exact measurements that my contractor gave me once I chose my tile. I know that one always buys some extra tile just in case , but they OVER SOLD me 1 1/2 boxes of tile. A 1/2 a box I understand and I have no problem with that but come on you are supposed to be professionals so you should have known how much I needed. My contractor who has been in the business for over 25 years said that you totally OVER SOLD me too much tile. When I tried to return the UNOPENED box you REFUSED to take it back. I would understand if it was opened but it wasn't. My contractor is going to tell future customers to avoid Snug harbor Tile, as will I. read more

This store under went new ownership in the last year. (3/2018 posting review). Since then it went from a great store to not good at all. I was misquoted a price (verbally told it was 50% cheaper than the written quote). Then drove an hour and half to place an order (after calling to confirm it was ok to come down and do so) and got there to two 'untrained' people who couldn't take my order. Asked to speak to ownership for them to honor Price and the salesperson offered 20% off. I asked to speak to the manager who misquoted Price and she was not helpful. Just trying to protect herself. Never heard from owner. None the less. I was able to find same tile at 40% of their price. So it worked out well in the end! Be aware of their overly inflated price and all the 'new' staff that aren't properly trained. Especially because the manager is the one messed this up! read more

I worked with the owner Beth, Linda, and Tara over several months and 4 BAs, mudroom, and living room fireplace (which Linda designed from scratch). What a great company to work with. We just remodeled our cabinets in our kitchen, but it was missing something. So me and my wife decided to add a backsplash in the kitchen. It is the talk of the kitchen. The staff was so easy to work with and gave us such great ideas, that we went back to remodel two of our bathroom. If you want tile this is the place to go. They have such a variety of tile that I cannot imagine anyone not finding what they are looking for. read more

I appreciate the fact that Beth was so quick to give me feedback on my review, which was taken down ASAP. I do understand that you can't take tile back after so many days I do however disagree with the amount that was sold to me. I do want to let you know that I have related my dealings with Snug harbor Tile to other tile shops as well as Home Depot and Lowes and they are all in disagreement with the amount of "standard industry waste percentage that I had from the order that was placed with you. They all said that it was excessive. I gave them the same square footage that I gave you and the amount that they would have ordered was less than what your company did. By the way there was never a "standard industry waste percentage" discussed with me as you said in your response. You tried to pass the excessive amount of tile purchased on to me. I gave your company the square footage and you grossly overestimated the amount of tile that I needed to buy. Then you say well I knew how much I ordered, which is correct, but I'm not in the business and I foolishly trusted your company to order the correct amount. I haven't even mentioned the excessive amount of expensive amount of grout I had to buy as well. I'm sure that this review will be removed as quickly as my last one but there is still word of mouth. read more
