Wonderful shop! There are many treasures of fabric, sewing and quilting tool. The customer service is old school-kind and helpful too.

Terrible service. The employees act as if it's an inconvenience for you to be in the shop. Will definitely not be going back.

Located in a larger, lower area of the Eastland Shopping Center, this store faces the very busy 10…read more(San Bernardino) freeway. The store is very clean and well-organized. Employees are very helpful and friendly, and can often be seen restocking merchandise. The variety of products is very helpful and fun, as customers can find new items for just about anything they want to decorate or add life to an existing home or garden project. Prices are fairly reasonable, though you will find a few items a little higher here than at other stores. Overall, this is a fun place to shop.

Gonna start off by saying that I generally have a great experience at Hobby Lobby. The store is…read morealways fully stocked and very organized. During my last visit, I was disappointed. I walked into the store and noticed it was really crowded. That being said, I went straight to the rear, grabbed some supplies that I needed, and walked directly to the register area. As I approached the area there were 3 cashiers. I went and stood in one of the lines that seemed endless. After waiting for approximately 10 min, the cashier looked at several customers, including myself, and stated he was closed. Very frustrated, I walked to a different line. Since I was desperate and in need of the merchandise, I stayed and waited patiently until it was my turn to pay. My main complaint was not the amount of time I stood in line or the amount of customers. It was the way the closed line was handled. If a line is closed, there needs to be a sign or some indication that the line is closed. A customer should not have to stand in line for any period of time, only to be told it is closed. That's poor management, and customer service in my opinion. During the holidays, Hobby Lobby should have more cashiers. That place is always crowded, and it would be nice to know that you are not gonna be standing in a line for 30 min before you can return or purchase. I

Our instructor Kristen (and the blonde instructor -- forgot her name) were patient and encouraging throughout the entire class. Kristen's in depth explanation + demonstration was easy to follow as a beginner, but the instructors frequently made their rounds to work with everyone individually, giving advice and feedback. Despite the class session only being 2 hrs, I felt like I was able to focus on improving basic skills and learning new techniques. Even if you don't have any interest in pottery, I HIGHLY recommend taking a class regardless. The space is welcoming, and it was a great (and fun) way to release stress creatively :) looking forward to how my pieces come out!

It was a full class and the instructor patiently explained each step. Before you sign up, make sure to read the description carefully. There are hand-building classes and wheel throwing classes. Hand-building is hand molding and you don't work with the wheel. My one-time matcha bowl and whisk holder making class was hand-building and we don't get to decorate or glaze it. Instead, you get to pick from a selection of paint colors and their team finish glazing and fire it for you. You also need to wait about 6 weeks for it to be ready for pick up, which is standard for community pottery places. I picked the white paint with specks which I regretted. The glaze came back with some uneven spots and a dark brown mark on the outside. Since the studio glazed it for us, I was a little disappointed with the final result. Pottery definitely tests your patience and perfectionism. Not sure if pottery is for me, but I might come back for their wheel throwing class.
