Such an amazing evening! I treated myself to dinner here for my last night in Paris and am so happy I experienced this. The food was incredible. The flavors and combinations were nothing but amazing. Even though some of the food was different than anything I would've ordered, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed every bite. Make sure you arrive hungry as the portion sizes are great sizes and will fill you up quicker than you expected. I additionally loved how there were only select seats around the kitchen, allowing you to watch the chefs cook and plate the food for you. The staff pays attention to you and explains every dish including the origin and every detail of the dish placed in front of you. Highly recommend anyone in the area to get a reservation here. It was the perfect way to celebrate the last night of my trip!!

What an experience! After making our reservations, we were sent an email which asked about food allergies or dietary concerns. My wife isn't quite as adventurous as I am, so she declined the pigeon and any seafood. I was concerned this might affect MY menu but when we arrived and were seated, the chefs reviewed our 'chart' and confirmed the choices and they did NOT disappoint! They served my wife with excellent substitutes while being mindful to serve me the chef's choices for the night on the Prix Fixe menu - which was 7 courses! The head chef and sous chefs all worked in the center of the seating area so you could watch them prepare each dish. Phenomenal! We also got the wine pairing to go with each service. Amazing experience! Very personal and outstanding quality and service. Allow 3 hours. You'll love it!

If I could give more stars I would. Top notch elegant service as expected for a restaurant at their level. Very comfortable environment where things are not hectic even though if you are sitting at the chefs table. The service is fast for the kind of place they are which is more suitable for me. You can count on being out of there in 2 hours. The food ... phenomenal! Smart recipes and unique presentations and they provide a bit of history/background with each dish. The menu is not set. The chef will provide you as dishes are prepared. Def try it next time in Paris.

This was one of my top 10 dining experiences for sure. Truthfully, I don't remember much regarding the food itself (don't get me wrong everything was delicious) but the service and presentation were exceptional and what really stood out. I adored how small the place was. It's just a kitchen in the middle with bar seating circling it. You got to see ever single dish get made and then finished/sauced right in front of you. There is just a pre fixe menu and you just need to tell the chefs if you have any food restrictions. Every single course was delicious. I'm embarrassed to say that my favorite part of the meal was actually the ending. You get some tea biscuits, fruit (plums and apricots), and a big spoon of salted chocolate ganache. They also send you home with a menu of what you ate and some more tea biscuits! I really want to bring my parents here to enjoy the experience.

I was very touched by the pride and excitement every member of this team exudes. The voyagette that our taste buds were taken on was between France and Israel. The meal started with an amuse-bouche. Mussels "esclade" style and a chipotle Chou pastry. Next was the Pan-Dan Yosha which was a meticulous presentation of lobster, apple, pear, yuzu gel puffed freekeh and smoked fig topped with pandan power. This was paired with a fascinating wine from New Zealand. This was followed by the Poule Lo Po, chicken liver and foie gras. It was the best I have ever had! It was presented with a sauce of hamoud, celeriac and mustard seeds. The pairing of Sonnenuhr from Germany a perfect match! Next was the Chraime A River, this was a fish dish with red mullet and a toasted brioche topped with pickled fennel. Surprisingly the fish was paired with a Pinot Noir from the US. At this point I was surprised by the next dish with was the Lamb. Keep in mind I don't like lamb and I found this dish to be delicious. Roasted lamb with a Demi-glacé of red wine and date accompanied by potato, carrot and pearl onion. I really enjoyed the Lacoste-Borie from Médoc France. Next was the 1st dessert which I am incapable of fully explaining. It was a combination of black tea génoise, relish, tahini, crystallized mulukiyah, pomegranate flower sorbet topped with a grated cured egg yolk served in an egg shaped bowl. A light and subtly sweet Riesling was offered with this course. As if this was not enough they followed this masterpiece with fresh mandarin oranges, glazed grapes, tahini cookies and two servings of mousse au chocolat with olive oil and sea salt. This meal was and adventure I will not forget!

Simply one of the best and most unique meals I've ever had. Their ability to perfectly mix and tease the influence of French and Israeli food, also bringing in many flavors from other cultures, was truly superb. We also got the wine tasting, and the Sommelier did an amazing job of picking international wines to go with every dish they brought out. It was the highest level of fine dining, in that it felt perfectly executed and top-tier, while the service was never even 1 small bit stuffy - a very casual atmosphere where the people seemed to love what they do. This is a must for anyone visiting Paris, get reservations!

We had a very enjoyable experience at Shabour last night. A journey through their dishes and accompanying stories was fascinating and delicious. The staff is knowledgeable and enthusiastic and obviously enjoy their work. It's hard to say which dish was a favorite because everything was unique and memorable. This is a special place which should be experienced.

The staff were great, the whole approach of blending Israeli "street food" and French classic cuisine was magical.

Just finished a long bike ride to the Eiffel Tower and worked up an appetite. Decided to go straight to the main course. They are known for Au Gratins. My son is not a cheese fan so he opted for the norvigene (smoked salmon in dill lemon and EVOO. I decided to stick with the house specialty; Landais Au Gratin (cream potatoes, duck breast and emmental cheese). The 2 girls beside me ordered a cider with both their meals so I followed their lead. When in Paris...... Considering the temperature, I almost second-guess myself and ordered something other than their house specialty of au gratin potatoes. In the end, I was very glad I overruled that thought. Brody enjoyed his meal. He just appeared to still be hungry when it was done and a 16 year-old boy that normally has a high caloric intake, I can understand why he wanted a second meal after eating his first! The restaurant in the patio were quite crowded even though we had reservations. They still sat us within five minutes of arrival. Not five minutes is a long time away, but it was still worth the weight as good as the food tasted. We both enjoyed our meals.

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

As a Chinese, I understood more than 50% of the conservations (Chinese). Which doesn't mean anything about the food. Just observation. Onion soup - 2 stars. First, the cheese failed to emit the baked, melted gruyere cheese, there is no aroma at all. I don't think they used gruyere cheese. May be mozzarella cheese. The worst part was the bread in the soup. It tasted stale which ruin the flavor of the soup. I had to finish without the bread. Escargot - Another disappointment. What made escargots special was the garlic butter and herb. Here, there were the herbs, no garlic, and French is famous with their butter but I taste oil but not buttery. Other places I actually get excited dipping the bread into the garlic butter but not here. Pan seared Foie gras - The quality of Foie Gras was definitely there. It's not as well seared as I hope but they managed to cook it through without overcooking it. The size of Foie Gras is kind of scary, it's like a small piece of rib eye steak. With just the onion soup and Foie Gras, I could barely swallow anything. Generous portion.

This is from our visit in March 2018…read more We didn't have reservations so we got in line early for a dinner table. We were the first two in line so when the doors opened at 8 - we were able to get a small table. The restaurant is located behind the bar and is very small - it seats only 20-30 people. However, if you're craving steak in Paris - it's probably one of the best Argentine steakhouses around. The theme is very Heavy Metal and the menu has a lot of sexual innuendos so if you're rather conservative then you might have a problem but then again you probably won't be staying on this side of the city. The service was excellent - we had one waitress for the entire room but she was on top of everything! Best service we had for our entire Paris trip! The food was decent - not the best steak but not the worst. The portions on the steak were small but the portion size for the potatoes was huge. Make sure to get the extra sauce assortment and try them all with both the steak and potatoes. I ordered a chicken salad which came a little too drenched in dressing - not sure if that was normal or they thought I'd like it that way being from the states. Creme brûlée was decent. We also ordered empanadas as an appetizer - they resembled a pair of testicles - we got a kick out of that! In summary, decent food (maybe a little $$ for the quality) but the service was excellent and the theme was entertaining - heavy metal and sex. We bought a t-shirt to remember our night.
